Watch this video every year before opener! Wish they'd go back there and do another! I said they looked good last year, and Man, I didn't catch one under 12 or 13 inches and my first was a 16-17 inch Brown! Helping out with stocking tomorrow! They definitely got better over the years. My first time about 5 years ago, you'd be happy to get a 10 incher. Cheers guys, and good luck again! Les go!!!!

Let's land some big ones, boys! They're looking good this year! Hopefully they took care of the west branch Wallenpaupack Creek this year. Got a new rod... Looking to test it's limits :-p

Mentor youth day is the craziest time to have it . They allow the closed stream to be fished before opening day and most of the big fish are gone by then . Pretty sad if your not a kid or don’t take a kid around with ya on youth day you don’t have much of a chance for those big ones pa

I still saw plenty of Goldens and trophy sizes swimming around, my buddy even got a trophy rainbow! (Hilarious story). But yes, I agree... I despise the "mentor youth day" just take your kid on opening day. Or they should change regulations where you're not allowed to keep during youth day, and have wardens out enforcing it! People take advantage of that. We even joke about just taking someone's kid so we can fish early. Sad part is, I'm sure it actually happens.

Just don't let any of these pellet munchers into Spring Creek over the fence. Luckily they can't jump that high.
