Paolo, I appreciate keeping the parts where you order in Japanese in the video! I love coffee so it was good to hear the vocabulary I might need when I order a cup in Japan. As always, good video man
i thought the exact same while watching the video. I was truly impressed by 7/11 dark coffee...man, Japan takes pride take even in the most basic, simplest things!
Thanks for the video, Paolo. I have to say, coffee culture has come a LONG way in Japan since I first moved here 20 years ago. Coffee shops back then were either dark, dingy places where old men sat and smoked or overly-ornate, flowery places serving expensive coffee in tiny cups. Now there’s this whole coffee-shop ecosystem and we can get decent coffee anywhere - even the convenient stores serve pretty good drip coffee now.
so here i am starting off my Paolo fromTOKYO channel journey from this video and literally binge watching since 4 hours straight! Such interesting topics you talk about, the format is perfect and i really like the content you put up here! Keep up the great work! =)
Wow thank you for showing the best coffee shops in Tokyo as I'm new in Tokyo, really good to know your recommendation!❤️Coffee is like a real treat that can sometimes beat any sweets! As you get to know more about the world of coffee, you can indulge yourself in great aroma!😊
I know a lot of people that don't drink coffee will skip over this video but i really appreciate it. Coffee was a must every day i was in Japan. I'm surprised to not see KOFFEE MAMEYA on here though.
Hi Paolo. I like how you create the narrative of each video you released. You are my inspiration in creating the youtube channel for my daughter. Please continue to create informative videos..

I'm happy to know that You got some beans from my beautiful country, Costa Rica. It's the best one, isn't it??. I reallly enjoy watching this kind of video. Nice review of all these Coffee shops, Keep it up. "Pura vida, Paolo".
I’d love to base a trip around visiting local coffee shops along the way. Neat. Honestly, the best coffee I had in Japan was out of a vending machine that helped me with the terrible jet lag.
As a coffee lover this video lets my heart bounce :D So amazing! People who have never tried GOOD coffee miss out on so much! So many different flavours available!
@@Jordan-inJapan Yah! I was shocked because when I was in japan just before covid, I was drinking lots of vending machine/conbini store coffee and it was nowhere near cafe prices (thats obvious) but it was definitely a shock :)
Before the pandemic I used to visit Japan once/year and each one is unforgettable. Can't wait to return and try out all these coffee shops & wagyu restaurants.
Hey maybe it's weird, but I have to re watch this every week, everything is so good, production, mood, could almost just have music and no lyrics, just you goin around showing Japanese stuff.
You don't usually think of coffee when you think of Japan but this proves otherwise and shows Japan too has great coffee spots if you know where to look! Cafecito is my favorite form of coffee. Cuban espresso really gets you going for the day

Also I would love to walk around Tokyo with you Paolo, smoking cigarettes and getting jacked-up on some good coffee!! 😄😂
Hi Paolo and Maiko! Thank you very much for all of your videos. They were very helpful when my daughter and I went to Japan in 2019. I thought I'd put out there a mistake we made while we were grabbing a cup of coffee one morning. I think it was near the outside door of a department store, but it was a coffee shop next to a pastry shop. There were tables all around. To our American eyes it looked like a shared space where a coffee shop and pastry shop allow customers to enjoy both in a common area. So we grabbed a pastry, took a couple of steps over to the coffee shop to get our drink and sat down at a table to enjoy both. The coffee shop politely told us we were in their area and couldn't eat our pastry there. C'est la vie! We went outside and found a place to semi-cop a squat and enjoyed our quick meal.
I love coffee so much. Espresso, espresso, espresso, always espresso, but I'm sure you're very tired, so I drink Macha Machiado very, very strong. It's amazing that you don't feel tired and feel good. And sometimes I drink cinnamon in Macha Machiado and it makes me feel good. Thank you for the good video.
