Why’s the seat going up in the back
When I got the bike the guy had a broken rear fender and it made the seat sit up like that. I couldn’t get it to go down🤷♂️

Yea. It’s about 3 inches shorter and weighs about 50-60lbs less

It’s more of a advanced... a trail bike is a good starter bike. A crf 230 has a more forgiving feel. And won’t throw you over the bars
Depends on your age and height, it's a race bike so it's quite powerful. Light weight and seat height of about 34 inches. I'm on my 4th bike now and it's a crf150rb, I'm 5ft 8 and I'm 15 years old, for me I feel the seat height is a little too low, but I've been riding for ages. If you are a beginner I would recommend a 125cc and then think about a 150 or 250
Nathan Egan very true. If your looking at a small wheel 150r but are a beginner I’d consider a klx 140 or ttr125l. But if you want a big wheel and are a beginner I’d consider a crf230. I can do a comparison of the 150rb and 230. I’ve got both right now as my dad likes to do more chill rides and I like to grab a hand full of throttle😂🔥. Thanks for watching

Yeah, you’d not want to start itself on any race bike, you need to start on a ttr or a klx that isn’t so powerful but still fun to ride because ur learning. The 150r is more powerful and has a lot of punch, as I’m in a CRF 150r myself

Yea. I’m 5’8” and I just outgrew it. I’d probably put him on a 125 2T or 250 4T. I’ve had all three and I’d say the 125 is my favorite. Less maintenance and more fun with the two stroke power band
Will Honeycutt I’m 5’5 5’6 and on a 150r (not the big wheel) it fit me perfectly
I’m 5’5 and ride a KX100. I’m actually on the big side for this bike. It’s about the same size as the 150RB So your son may be able to go with something bigger if his LEGS are long enough and he’s capable of more power. Coming from my cramped riding position I’d rather have a big bike. Though, I’m just short enough still that they’re intimidating and I can’t touch.

You can. I had a crf250r when I was 13 and I was only 5'5. Its a little tall at first but the more you ride it you realize its actually almost the right size.

@@nicki3305 Yes, the Crf150rb is a four stroke. Whoever wrote that is wrong. The 150rb is the same as the 150, but has a big wheel and a slightly taller seat height for bigger riders.

Yea. I think it would be too small. It would still be fun to ride but just a little small. For the same price you could get a 125 two stroke or a 250 four stroke

Chris Shorter you’re tall for your age. YZ’s tend to run a little taller and fatter than most other makes. Good for bigger riders. At 5’ 11 you should be able to more than comfortable fit on any full sized bike unless you’re 60% torso or something 😂 I’m 5’5 and ride a bike about the same size (KX100) and I’m actually a bit big on it. I think a 250 would fit you much better
