Heyyyy yall! What did you think of the video 🥰?! Be sure to check out the description box for measurements! If you need more dinner ideas here’s another video that you might enjoy ua-cam.com/video/SYKwfB8LRhc/v-deo.html
I didn’t think we would get a video from you this week and then it popped up on Monday! Can’t wait to try the pasta and stir fry next week! I found an old school recipes on your website the vegan hamburger helper and made it twice already this week. It’s so easy and good and not many ingredients! Also made your chimichurry pasta salad from last week!! Thank you again for these ideas!!
Loved these dinner ideas. Sometimes making dinner can be bland because its the same old stuff. But this...this right here is on point. Im going to do meal prep this week and try all three. The veggie stir fry would be good over some wild rice (for me 🤭). Thanks for these ideas.❤
The butternut squash soup was bomb! You’re right about the nutritional yeast - definitely added flavor! I used coconut milk instead of cashew and I didn’t use the harissa because I’m not sure what that is 😅 but I added thyme and it was great!
I loveeeee the glasses! I really like the red frames on you. I need a new pair of glasses, so I'll check out Pair for my next order while making that first soup.
Yummy 😋 easy vegan recipes Shakayla and they are good not just for beginner vegans and others on a plant based diet but even those who have experience on a plant based diet may enjoy easy recipes because they are good for busy days. Love 🥰 the video and love 💖 Shakayla.
Can you do a detailed video on how you cook with stainless steel please? I recall you touched on it on a video awhile ago and I’ve been trying but haven’t been very successful😅
I have some mustard greens growing in our back patio area--I think I might make that last dish but sub in the mustard greens for the kale. Thank you for all the great ideas you always give us!
Thank you viewer for the suggestion..I was excited watching this vid.. the crispy beans good idea, I use my air fryer so much I might toss my ear in there and see how crispy IT gets😆..that creamy pasta..I'm on it👌🏾
Luckily I already have the Harissa and other pantry staples from when I wanted to make your Harissa butter beans...still haven't purchased the butter beans yet but I will be getting butternut squash since it is a weekly staple for me...Thank you so much for this new way to enjoy butternut squash.
Yes I did, I pretty much had all the ingredients except for the beans that you used. So I substituted garbanzo beans, which I air fried with cumin, paprika, olive oil, onion powder, garlic and one of mrs. Dash spices.
Thank you so much! I'm thinking of going plant based but protein is very important to my as a gym rat. Question: if I air fried the tofu, what settings do I use? What's the brand/name of the fava bean tofu? One more thing: Is harissa spicy? I don't care for spicy foods but I will be doing the other two Once again. Thank you!
I want you to try adding Cashew yogurt to your plant base milk for your white sauce/Alfredo sauce. It’s amazing! I buy my cashew yogurt from Trader Joe’s. I got the recipe from auntie Tab’s videos. Please do a video on it.
Hiiii! I typically find it a my local grocery store but you can also get it on amazon www.amazon.com/shop/sweetgreensvegan/list/19H4OI8PO9D1E?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_ud_aipsflist_M52H1PXNESGNQ4PJ2BZS
Thanks for sharing I don’t think you need to count condiments we all have and use seasonings for our food no need to count the oil most or some will not use oil for those who are SOS free salt, oil and sugar. 👍🏿
I am really loving your recipes but please tell me how tofu taste because you use a lot of it and I’ve always been scared to buy it lol. I’m trying to go back to my Mediterranean lifestyle which is a lot of plants and fruit so I incorporate quite a few of your recipes with that
Don’t be scareddddd! It absorbs whatever flavor you marinate it in or cook it with. My recent favorite way to cook with it is shredding it, seasoning it up and then baking it.
Tofu has almost no flavor. That's part of what makes it great. You can flavor it however you want. My biggest recommendation is that you should press it or use her freezing technique to get rid of the water and then marinate it for 30 to 45 minutes (or longer if you want a stronger flavor) before cooking. You can use basically any favorite sauce or dressing to marinate it or make your own. Tofu is extremely forgiving.
I've been a vegetarian for 31 years and have loved tofu the whole time. I've experimented a lot with it over the years. Let me know if I can be of any help. I'm no expert but I have a lot of experience with tofu. :)

I made the butternut squash soup for my mother and OMG, she loved it. She's making me make her a bigger batch, so that she can freeze some.
Omg you made it already?? Yassssss

For some reason you look different.... extra beautiful ❤
Oh thank you!
💯💯
Super understandable that people want easy recipes, but PLEASE I suck at making sourdough and I would love a sourdough bread recipe from you!
So funny you mention that because I just bought bread flour to make my own starter! I’ll definitely share my progress

The brand is big mountain foods! I picked it up from sprouts
Thanks for that comment AND THE VIDEO😅❤
