I was on ozempic for 7 months. When I tell you I was the sickest I'd ever been in my life! Nausea, acid reflux, extreme fatigue, projectile vomiting. I am not a diabetic and I was paying money to be sick. Did I lose weight? Yeah, a little bit but the side effects were not worth it for me so I stopped taking it and I feel so much better.
There’s more harmful side effects in drugs, than what good the drug may help with 😮

@@vidaacheampong2563 You're right or stomach paralysis. My doctor made it seem like it was no big deal. He said he took it with no problems. I don't recommend it at all. The sad part is, I didn't lose much weight on it and was sick all...the...time.

If I go for a long walk I find I get hungry on return but when I do a kettlebell workout I have no appetite for ages . It’s important to go for walks so I’m not giving that up but I do my kettlebell workout five times a week it’s only twenty minutes
Any form of caffeine, including green tea and black coffee, strongly stimulates my appetite, even just after a meal.
Caffeine increases cortisol ( stress hormone ) and makes me crave unhealthy food. and I gained alot of weight from it

I find the best appetite SATISFIER is ordinary room temperature tap water. 1.5 pints in the morning, and 2 pints pm. I have to FORCE myself to get my 2 litres. And I find that coffee, tea, or anything with any TASTE to it is an appetite STIMULANT.
I hope you have a well or are filtering your tap water. If not, it's toxic.

Who are all of these people that have doctors that just give them what they want?
My doctor never gives me what I ask for, so I never go anymore. I never get help. I watch nice doctors on UA-cam like dr Boz instead. 😊 other than the sardines, for me she gives sage advice and really cares.
I had a really great doctor. Baptist replaced her with a prescription writing quack.
But your doctor should listen to you, it’s supposed to be a partnership. Find a new doctor if your doctor doesn’t listen.

I found that merely changing to eating routine to only 2 meals each day TOTALLY suppressed my appetite. Now I only get an occasional hunger pang (about once every month or 2) that lasts for about 10 minutes. I have a small "brunch" at around 10am and then dinner at 6 or 7pm. My guess is that after a while, this routine teaches your body and mind to not expect food anytime soon. Then they just happily fall in line with that expectation. And I also found that whether or not I drink coffee or tea in the morning right after I get up has no effect on this. Give it a try and see if it works similarly for you.
Also, I normally do my daily, strenuous exercise routine just before dinner, with absolutely no lack of energy due not having eaten anything for many hours. And even on the days when I need to do my exercises earlier in the day (due to some type of engagement), I don't notice any difference in my energy level while exercising, nor the creation of any extra hunger pangs before I have dinner at my normal time. And if I have lunch engagement that causes me to postpone my morning meal until hours later, I still have no hunger pangs. So it appears that eating just twice each day sets your body up for maximum eating flexibility.
I've also found both green & black teas, spicy things like cayenne & peppers, drinking lemon water & eating ENOUGH HEALTHY FATS & PROTEINS, chromium piccolinate (mineral) & gynemma sylvestre (natural herb helps balance & take away SUGAR cravings)

I am strongly consdiering replacing coffee with bone broth. Our ancestors drank that long before they started drinking coffee, and it has its fair share of benefits similar to coffee without the caffeine.
Tallow is also something to put on your shelf. It lasts a very long time and can also be used as a moisterizer.
Salt rocks and lots of caffeine. I can't do either but I just started 36/12 fasting. I will definitely be looking into MCT. Oil supplements.
Salted coffee was a Depression era drink when sugar was too expensive. My "Ozempic" costs me $1.10 a can and used to swim for a living.

Cannot do coffee without cream and it never goes well. I find whenever I drink coffee my sugar goes up over time and I tend to eat more. Perhaps it is the cream, but I believe the coffee or caffein effects my sleep over time. Salt is a must. Trying to get 2-3 teaspoons a day at least. Never tried MCT or ketones. I am not worried about ketones, just want to keep going toward better fat burning as time goes by. When I was going through the craving phase, and it lasted a little over a year, I just make some kind of meat and ate a snack of it, slowly teaching myself to go for protein or fat when hungry. At 3 years carnivore now and really don't get energy ups and downs at all, nor cravings for sweets. Nice place to get to. It can be done, just takes effort and time. Good luck to all!

Put coconut oil in your coffee instead of cream. MCT plus coffee= amazing
I put heaving whipping in my coffee. No carbs, no sugar and 3.5g of saturated fat.
1/2 tbs of all natural ( no added sugar, no added oils) peanut butter will carry you for hours in between meals
My husband is a diabetic type 2 and when he found out he was a diabetic it scared him because his brother loss his toes. My husband would drink slim fast meal replacements in the morning, he gave up sodas and he only ate one huge meal a day. My husband got so skinny my aunt thought he was sick. I had to tell her no he’s taking care of his health.
Have you ever read the ingredients on one of those sugar- and chemical-laden shakes? So many nutrient-rich smoothies you could blend up at home in the same calorie range, even store in pint jars in the fridge for several days to make it convenient.

@saveamerica2896 I heard: : salad, protein, and them bread, but the best is no bread or wholemeal bread, but if it is a sandwich, first is a bunch of salad, walk inmediately after meals. I started walking 10 minutes, now I walk 30 minutes, little by little reduce food portions, sleep at least 7 hours, laugh a lot 😆 😅 ❤️

Hi Annette, I've been following your videos over the last few years as I get my head around making myself well. I am an RN in Australia. In the last year, a public health dietitian suggested I go on Oempic, I flatly refused to his face and told him he was negligent in suggesting it to desperate people who need practical help not pharmacology. I have a very small UA-cam channel Jules Cruise Companion. I have been feeling the effects that my cruising lifestyle has had on my health and knew I had to get fitter. Black coffee definitely did solve the ravenous appetite problem I’d have, but no matter how early i used to drink it, it also created sleepiness nights, headaches and eventually lumps in my breast (according to my gynecologist, caffeine can stimulate lumps in breast tissue) so I couldn’t win the appetite suppressant affects of it for losing the quality of other areas in my life but by far, it was the only non RX drug that worked great for me.

I used to have painful breast lumps. Then I switched to decaf coffee and started taking vitamin E three times a week until the problem went away.
Now I take E only once a week.
Evening Primrose Oil is also good for breast pain. Eliminate from your diet anything that contains soy. The effects of soy stay in your system for about 3 months after you stop eating foods that contain soy.

Coffee helps me in the morning, but it's the late afternoon where I struggle and I don't want to drink caffeine then. I also don't feel like the ketones alone will be enough at that point.

Coffee is definitely an appetite suppressant, but also raises cortisol so if you drink it, take a small amount. It’s also raises your blood sugar. Also, I’ve found that the fats in milk help to keep blood sugar stable. I would go for MCT oil or even fibrous sources like 2 tbsp of chia seeds as well as apple cider vinegar. I’m surprised ACV wasn’t mentioned.

1 tea spoon of extra virgin olive oil, squeeze a half a lemon, sprinkle of cayenne pepper, and drizzle of real honey, mix it well in a small cup drink right before each meal. This works

I have had that w an energy drink. Never had my first cup of coffee however I'm addicted to diet coke for years. My hands were shaking after drinking 1 half of a Celsius! Worse feeling & expensive!

Coffee , especially if I have too much makes me hungry does NOT suppress my hunger , however If I have a glass of good electrolytes like ELMT or ReLyte by Redmonds real salt it definitely suppresses my appetite , make hunger cravings go away..
One of the premiere insulin doctors, can't recall if it was Bikman or Lustig, but someone like that, says caffeine causes insulin resistance and get off it if you're plateauing.

Coffee, I been drinking coffee with breakfast for over 40 years. I find drinking coffee while fasting makes me extremely hungry. I guess I associate coffee with bacon ,eggs and toast.

Anything produced in a LAB or food factory is suspect, so the "fast" Ketones won't be on my shopping list - ingredients, you know? As in "What IS this expensive thing?"
I do Keto because I'm backed into a corner with lectin sensitivities and I need all the help I can get, but not if it's going to trigger my IBS of generate other reactions...

Combine intermittent fasting with keto diet. Any type of workout for 20 minutes daily. I started my intermittent fasting at 12/12 the first week, then increased to 16/8 the second week, and then I would eat only once a day for three months, always in the keto diet. While fasting, you can have teas, coffee, water, bone broth. Once a day, mix water, 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar with the mother, sprinkle some turmeric and salt or use 4 olives. That will help to replenish your electrolytes. Drink it using a straw to protect your teeth.
Along with that I also quit all types of alcoholic beverages. I reverted my prediabetes and fatty liver in 3 months and lost 25 pounds (that was my actual overweight).
I have proof of my results because I repeated my blood labs and my markers went back to normal range. I also had ultrasound of my liver which came out okay. To keep my weight now I eat breakfast and dinner only on the Keto diet and 20 min daily workout.
Buy Berberine 500 mg and take one capsule before your dinner until you finish the bottle. Also take one capsule of milk thistle every day after your main meal at least during the three first "aggressive" months that you're in the combined keto with intermittent fasting. After that, take a maintenance dose three times a week.
Remember, no sodas, no sugars, no breads, no pastries, no pasta, no rice, no starches, not even beans.
Fruits: Only blueberries, strawberry, raspberries, blackberries, lemons, Take a handful of raw walnuts, raw nonprocessed peanuts, or pecans if you think you are too weak of feeling faint.
When I started my maintenance, I went back to eating beans sparingly.
As an extra bonus, I don't snore anymore and my sleep apnea went away (my heart is safer now).

Sadly, coffee even as decaf causes me electrolyte imbalance and heart arrhythmia. Finally figured out that piece of my health puzzle.

Honey definitely doesn't fit in a keto diet. Way too many carbs
Black coffee? I think you have to be born liking it. I started drinking coffee when I was 67, diluting my morning protein drink so I could have two mugs instead of one. Can't get past that. So, OZEMPIC is my next step. My cousin has had very good success with it.
I dont recommend keto, it wrecks your electrolytes, and messes up your hormones. especially thyroid. you need some good carbs (veg mostly) to burn calories or else your metabolism will tank, and at your age, its already toast. get hormone replacement first off, once you feel real good, then start weight training or a walking routine, and eat what you want or like, but less of it, and less often. I lost a lbs or 2 a week once i went on HRT. For men they lose most of their testosterone around age 50, so for you are at an all time low. get some, from a good doc, and restart your life!

Question though: won’t the salt raise my BP all the more? I’m working on finally letting go of my Losartan meds.
After 90 days on Ketovore, I was able to cut my BP losartan in half.
And I have super high BP.
(On 2 BP meds plus a small diuretic)
Thankfully I was checking my BP daily & my BP was really low.
I was lightheaded.
So make sure you have a wrist BP monitor.
My BP has never been ‘normal’ even on 3 meds!
Salt or caffeine no longer effect my BP; it was the sugar & inflammation all along.
It’s important to know the differences between table salt 🧂 (sodium chloride) and “pink”, or Himalayan salt.
Salt is not a problem unless insulin is high….the kidneys will hold salt then. So it’s an insulin problem…
Salt will raise your blood pressure regardless of your insulin. But you should ask your doctor, not people on UA-cam cuz they’ll tell you wild things. All salt raised bp, they literally give it to ppl in hospitals to raise it

I was given this for diabetes it didn't kerb my appetite so much as made me constantly feel sick and vomitting. Hence wait loss. Was only on it for under 6 months. I told the doctor no way. I got off it and am never looking back
They said the same thing about low carb diets and lean muscle mass.
