The Fab Faux

- This Fab Faux recording of most of side two of 'Abbey Road' is a live, in-the-studio performance for a two-camera video shoot. It was originally recorded for The Howard Stern Show and only the audio has been broadcast - until now. Howard and company were kind enough to let us video tape the session.
In the end, there were only three minor guitar fixes and each section was recorded in no more than three takes (most were two).
There are NO added overdubs within this performance.
The audio is pure - and mixed by Joe Chinnici. - Розваги
I am a HUGE Beatles fan and this is the first time I have listened to these guys.
They are fantastic ! ! !
I swear if you close your eyes you would think you are listening to The Beatles....
I have seen dozens of other tribute bands do this medley - nothing compares to this rendition. absolutely flawless as humanely possible. Bravo to the Fab Faux. Great job!
A great big thank you from the mid Coast of Maine on a snowy late December evening as I head to bed thank you so much.
Love this clip - I listen over and over
You guys are incredible Dec.2021
The greatest rock music composition ever, by the greatest rock band of all time. Perfectly and lovingly reproduced.
Love the drummer... A tour de force!
Brilliant …
SUPERB, SIMPLY SUPERB.
It's an honor to listen to this !
This is amazing!!!!!!! What a great tribute band. Unreal!!!
Fucking Brilliant Guys!!! Believe it or not, I hit this video by chance and am GLAD I DID! There are so many Beatles Cover Bands out there all around the world. It is ridiculous. The Fab Four for instance replicate the Beatles well but those fake British accents kill me. However, it is part of their act. The Bootleg Beatles are funny I can go on & on . One thing I noticed about you Guys is the Pure Heart & Soul that separates you from All .This reminds me of when I was in the studio recording live with no overdubs . Thanks for posting this. Fantastic. Very Impressed. If you ever come out to Southern California to play let me know.Cheers!
The Analogues are a pretty good outfit too, but on balance these guys just about shade it !!!
It really doesn't get any better than this, and this is wonderful.
Just had the most FABulous experience of attending their concert at the State Theatre in Easton, PA which they are kind enough to play every year. They are the best for many reasons. First they are not trying to be the Beatles but they are honouring and enjoying the Beatles music when they play. Each of them are so talented in their own right and take every song seriously down to every chord and instrument. Their voices are spot on as well. This talent cannot beat and is a must see as well as listened to. Their backup crew is wonderful as well. I urge people to listen to their solo works as well.Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world
Simply bravo. I cant just imagine how The Beatles able to make such really good music. For sure Fab Faux also thought of this. Very good job. More power.
I just love this....this is WAY beyond a tribute band..these are excellent musicians treating the material as if it's a classical piece and playing it to note for note perfection...as someone mentioned it's probably the first time side 2 was actually performed live and as a single piece...just wonderful...
absolutely amazing! I love it
Simply outstanding !
Fantastic rendition of a classic.
Awesome
Just saw them in L.A. 3rd row center. Absolutely amazing show and even got to meet them afterwards. Every bit this good live. Magical Mystery Tour album performed start to finish and was PERFECT in every way.
absolutely fantastic
damn these guys are so great, God I would love to see them live.......best I have ever heard other than the original.
They treat this like a classical masterpiece and play it note for note. It is pitch perfect and done with soul as well. These guys are the BEST! What a treat. I wonder if Macca has ever seen them play and what he things of them?
Loved It ! Cheers Guys ! Smiles and Very best JL
Finally! A worthy tribute band!!! Way to go guys!!!! Just to be able to copy The Beatles, one has to be a great musician/singer.
UNREAL !!!!!!!
Ahhh...this is really nice stuff. Well done lads! Brings back memories....I was a session player in Melbourne (string sections) in the 90's. We did a show with Sir George Martin - full band (basically John Farnham's band as the engine room, plus James Reyne and Glenn Shorrock on vocals, Human Nature doing the bv's and us the 40 piece orchestra). It was pretty full-on - Strawberry Fields, all of Abbey Road, and much more, with every detail exactly as on the record..
and there's Sir George driving it from the middle....gave us goosebumps! It was a bit more the original Beatles feeling than the video here but what do you expect - I mean he was part of it all when it happened, all his arrangements, and his love...and it lifted it into that something extra special. Only thing was we didn't do anything off Let It Be because they were Spector's arrangments...small price to pay for working with the man. Onya George
EPIC !!!!!
BRAVO !!!
Didn't get the crickets at the start of Sun King quite right; fail!
Includes the famous drum solo that rumour has it Paul had to play for Ringo because Ringo wasn't up to it!
Fascinating to hear the loving attention to nearly every nuance, and the excellent modern studio sound quality but, perhaps not surprisingly, it lacks something of the spontaneous, improvisatory feel of the original. I must dig out my old vinyl record and play it for the first time in 35+ years!
Lovely lads! Take 5 and a moment for a spot of tea. Then send me your performance schedule. I live in the Springfield, Missouri area and would love to catch your show.
even copied the drum solo, a great stand-out of what little recognition he did get to solo. Ringo never got props for his contribution but he was great and un-sung for his chops Go Richard Starkey He played backer but he was right there when other records took three drummers to do the parts
this video is great because i play the piano part over it but the original is off speed at the end.
next best thing thanx guys.
Also, who is cooler than Will Lee? :-)
"...such a mean old man" Yeah, yeah, yeah..." Ha Funny, also odd choices of Beatlmania to do a cover for. Puzzles me a bit why? We have the Original so...? Great musically of course but no interpretations?
