I remember playing Trials Fusion with some classmates back in the day. I remember the absolute dumb fun we (or at least I) had with the game. I now want to go back and actually play the game for real as intended. Simply hearing the "Welcome to the future" at the end of the video sent a massive nostalgic wave of chills through my body. I need to own this game now!

Ive been clouded by all those memes about "What is wrong with Finnish game developers" and then list totally normal games like Ultrakill, Cruelty Squad and Barotrauma. Good to know we have some "weird" and "sadistic" game series like Trials aswell.
so happy to watch someone discover the magic of these games. You did it with respect, appreciating the challenges and community. And the best part is, there's always more, always new challenges. The community has built some tracks that only a handful of people even can think about attempting, often only 1 or 2 people being able to actually pass them. But really it's about your own improvement to overcome ever growing challenges. These games offer endless gameplay.
I absolutely love seeing people get into this game still, it has been one of my favorite franchises for about 10 years now and I even made it to top 1k on the trials rising leaderboards a couple years ago
I remember spending a whole weekend trying to get up one very difficult ramp in the 1st Trails game in the 360 arcade. Mad props you make these games look easy but I know the insane amount of technical prouesse needed to do these tracks
The last video I saw from this channel was 3 years ago... WTF WAS I DOING! Your videos are all bangers somehow! I didn't take my eyes of the screen for a second! Major congrats on completing this game and also major congrats on making such an appropriately great video on it!
Kudos to you sir, I’ve been playing this game since launch, I was even part of the number 1 team on Xbox with annihilate at one point but I am still to unlock anger management
I remember this game vaguely, I also remember the early trials games (or something like them) being flash games, with all the secrets and charm its really clear that this game was built with that early flash game mentality "i want to make something FUN" then they updated it, improved it, and made it better until it was good enough to be sold for money, and I believe they were successful.
One of my favourite games of all time! The platinum medal on way of the machine is the only medal that still alludes me. Loved the video and the nostalgia it brought back.
Phenomenal video! A few years ago I couldn't stand Trials Fusion. I expected a casual BMX game and instead got my ass handed to me. I hope to one day achieve this 100%. I'm 46/51.
Man wanna say thank you so much for this video for the much needed inspiration to go back to this game. Managed to do 'Be One with the Bike' years ago then gave up on 'Top Roach' and 'Pipe Phobia'. Loved the previous videos and the dedication you have showed so said lets give it another go. With a bit of a struggle and many late hours I now have finally completed both! I now feel inspired enough to go back to complete the nastier ones of Evolution. Thanks again for the inspiration and hope to see you tackle some other hard challenges in the future.
Trials has one of the highest skill ceilings of any game series I've ever seen. The top level courses made by both the community and the devs are actually insane and I could watch people go through them with ease all day.
Fun fact: Trials is actually based on a real sport called (Motorcycle) Trials. It’s basically climbing over difficult obstacles on a motorcycle. It kinda reminds me of mountain goats lol
Awesome Video!! I love watching people face the challenges that Trials games have to offer and seeing all the hidden details the developers included that make it such a wonderful game !!
I was ranked in the global top 10 overall on PS4 for a short time, and was also the owner of the #1 ranked team for a bit, and have waaaay too many hours in this game over the years lol. It was a fun trip watching you play all these old tracks.
It was so hard writing up a guide for this game. The game just clicked for me and really wasn't that bad, I was done with it in roughly 53 to 55 hours with all DLC included. And after asking around it was so drastically different for everyone else. I know a few who were around 150hrs, 200hrs, but thats all DLCs... So what do I put for base game? I ended up putting 90hrs but I feel that may be a bit misleading for many. Grats on the 100% btw and so awesome to here you stay after it. Its exactly what I did and still come back to the game as its just so much fun and the skill ceiling is just absurd. That slide at 1:06:52 was so nice btw
Thanks for all the nice words :) I can imagine this being a difficult game to write a guide for, but i thought you did great job, I used it a lot. And yeah that slide is super tough to hit haha, pretty happy with my 27.2 on that track
Surprisingly people still play this game… I am playing it since 2015 and still playing it! The Multiplayer has around 200.000 tracks built by players 😅
Quality video: I need to go back and replay this game. It's so good. The soundtrack is iconic and i will never forget the songs haha. You have to give us the same video for trials rising now ;P
Nice to see another video from you, and about time someone made a video about this game, might pick it up eventually in the future I really enjoyed Trials Rising
MAAAAN SO HAPPY FOR YOU, i love this channel since the crypt of the necrodancer video, i love how you comentate..... Good luck in all of your next trophies
Welcome to the future! Honestly there's been no game that has had me more pumped on boot-up than Trials Fusion. As great as the game is (and Rising for that matter) I think that boot up and theme does so much to amplify the experience. I'm never 'not in the mood' for whatever the game throws at me after I've loaded in, even if I may be hesitant before starting up a session my mood will switch up so quick. The game itself has beautiful flow and I think my favourite tracks generally are the ones labelled 'hard', that balance IMO between obstacle and flow. I appreciate the obstacle nature of extreme (and ninjas) but flowing a good time on a hard track feels like nothing else. I am curious what your next challenge is, I'm presuming maybe it's ninja related from the snippets but maybe it's all diamonds in Rising? I know that's a pretty intense accomplishment and one I had at one point considered approaching myself if it weren't for my *ahem* 'rising' backlog *badum tsst*. I also want to congratulate you on another great video, your videos are so well put together and I'm able to stay engaged for the lengthy runtime. I look forward to seeing what's next in store if you succeed at it. Good luck!
It makes me feel so old that basically everybody here thinks trials was a console game from a decade ago. It was a java game made over 2 decades ago and was free on miniclip. Can you imagine some little kids telling you theres this new game just come out in 2024 on ps5 called candy crush. Thats what its like for me hearing you right now.
Funnily enough I found way of the machine to be somewhere in the middle of the extreme tracks difficulty wise. It could be due to me spending countless hours trying to do the original extreme tracks in under 50 faults total between them (before dlcs came out). Watching this video made me really want to pick up a PS4/5 to play this game again
I think my favourite part of the trials series is the skill progression I've been in the franchise since trials HD, and whilst the trophys were a fairly quick run through for rising and fusion, theres still so much that feels impossible, and ninja tracks are just so fascinating for that exact reason
Just stumbled upon your videos today. Watched a cod one now this one. Love your video style and effort. Keep up the good work! Trials fusion is an amazing game I’m only missing the challenge one. You’ve inspired me lol
I feel like you're just able to get me interested in any game ever. Your original "3 challenges" video got me into challenge hunting in the first place, and although I had never heard of trials fusion, and it was the game that interested me the least from that video, it stuck in the back of my mind. Eventually I joined a site dedicated to challenge hunting, and of course Trials Evo, Fusion, and Rising were all pretty notable entries on there. Eventually I was looking for a secondary grind to work on besides celeste, and decided to pick up trials evolution. I then worked my way through trials rising, getting all the gold medals in that game, and now I'm on fusion, which unfortunately is probably my least favorite game in the series so far, but still good nonetheless. I just wish the tires had more grip lmao. And I agree with you about the FMX stuff. I'm currently stuck trying to get the gold medal on way of the machine, it's pretty brutal. But maybe I'll come back to it and try again. These challenges look pretty cool, and I'd love to be able to do them someday. Anyways, just wanted to say thanks for making all these videos, they're a huge inspiration and set me on the path to where I'm at right now in my challenge gaming journey. I've picked up most of the games you've covered on this channel lol, and I eagerly await any future videos :)
This is one of my favourite comments ive gotten on the channel, really cool to hear you getting into games ive covered. With trials games you basically have an endless amount of potential challenges you can do so youre in the right place as a challenge hunter hahah. You planning to do farewell golden on celeste btw?
@@xArchivist Yeah I've got about 100 hours in it right now. I've always had a bad mindset when it came to practicing, and I much prefer to just put in attempts, so it's definitely taking a bit longer than it could have otherwise lol. I find it always amusing how new players have to deal with this game’s challenges. Something that I speedran a lot many years ago and had the world record for getting all base game challenges in 2 hours 4 minutes for a while. I also tried it with every single DLC and that took 8 hours.
Good luck to beating all the Trials Rising Ninja tracks. Warning: Black Belt alone took me over several hundred hours to beat. I don’t regret it one bit though, as the feeling of beating it is literally equivalent to conquering Mount Everest in real life.
I'm already 100hrs in on black belt and I havent even beaten every checkpoint individually yet so yeah its been tough lol. Getting pretty close to beating cp6 now though so after that it's just 7 and 10 left, then im grinding the full track.
@@xArchivist Once you’ve beaten every CP individually at least once, you’re not even halfway done. The real challenge is beating the full track in under 30 minutes, which is especially brutal in this 12 CP gauntlet of a track.
@@RealKaiserRyu With green and blue once I got all the individual checkpoint passes, the muscle memory was there and I got the full pass very quickly. Might be different with black though, we'll see
For any of the challenges where you can't lean, using the roach was always a massive boost for stability and the weight kept it planted during any ramps or jumps. Really great vid man, if you ever end up with other trials games try to remember you can usually use a range of bikes for the individual challenges. You could of saved a good few hours with the stability of the roach for most courses. I tried a good few community maps and for hillclimbs the roach is almost unbeatable unless you need to do some *wild* moves
While I still prefer Evolution to Fusion, it's an incredible game in its own right. I loved the challenges too, despite never coming close to beating all of them lol. It was a nice way to build on the occasional secrets from Evo and HD

I got the online trophy cuz you make me crazy, talking about this game on X 😂 now it's time to try this 100%
this game's difficulty was an insane leap from Evolution (the trials game before fusion)
You should try to pass the community track Ascension. All time classic ninja track
Very enjoyable video! Did you already try out trials of the blood dragon? If so how did you like it?
No I haven't. I heard mostly negative things about that game and I'm pretty sure the servers are offline for it anyway, so I have not intentions to play it anytime soon
Welcome to ninja tracks
Ninjas are peak gaming. So cool to see someone giving the games some love
@@OldClam5 y i love trials. Don't know how many hundreds of hours I've played that game
Imagine if he, the man who just went through the ninth circle of video game didn’t reach level 100.
I assume in the last part, you are going for a ninja level 9 or 10 track if it exist i dont remember (maybe even flawless), i have never played one of these games but i know how absurdly hard it can be from similar games like this.
