Microsoft Word Tutorials
Within all my tutorials I aim to help you develop your skills working within Word, Excel and Powerpoint as well as further your knowledge about the tools which are available within the Microsoft Office Software.
Throughout this channel I aim to cover simple subjects such as page numbers, margins, headers and footers, image, pictures and fonts as well as more advanced themes such as tables, mail merge, table of contents and electronic signatures.
Sharing tips and tricks which I discover along my journey is also an important aspect of this channel. I love the idea of giving people the solution to a problem they’ve been struggling with in Microsoft Word, Excel or Powerpoint.
The channel began all because of a problem I had when I had to insert images into a Word Document. I couldn’t find a way to drag and drop multiple images into a table without them expanding across the page, being cropped or interfering with the rest of the text. It wasn’t until I finally sat down one day, determined to find the solution and developed a way to solve the problem. Having found the problem quite difficult to solve without knowing how to do it I decided to make a You Tube video about it. Never once believing that many people would watch it, let alone be so grateful.
After discovering how helpful a simple tutorial could be I decided to make further videos with the aim of once again helping as many people as possible.

Yours is the best "how to" video by far for the absolute beginner. I need to master Microsoft Word as I want to do proofreading from home. If you could do a video on that I would really appreciate it. Especially how to share documents, save as a PDF, etc, Real beginner stuff.

I have to put the following steps in order. If I make a mistake, I fail the test, so need an accurate answer. The subject is how to crop an amage.
1. Select image to crop.
2. The Format tab will appear
@t Crop command on the Format tab
4.Handles will appear around the image
@t Crop command to crop the image
@t ,hold and drag the handles to cut our what is not needed.
I am confused about the above 5, where this one is to be placed.

Great tutorial - I’ve been using Office 97 for years, having just purchased a new pc this December the Word programme is somewhat different to the 97. Just gone through your video and now understand the new version a little more, rest assured I shall refer to you again for your clear presentation on making Word easier.

Hi Lisa, kindly show tabs & ribbon in bigger size. I was not able to see though I am using a 12.4 inch tablet. All other trainers use to show quite big sizes.

Thank you for your lovely comment. Yes, the RETURN key is the ENTER key and the DELETE key is the BACKSPACE key (usually above the ENTER key).
All I have ever done on Word, is write letters. I am now doing a course that requires Word and I luckily fell upon your video. It is wonderful and clear and perfectly understandable. Given my age, that is a compliment indeed. I do also admit that I probably will have to watch it three more times (at least) to get how to do things. Who would have thought one could do so much. Thank you. I think you should open a channel for the over 70's. We learn slowly but well.

Cmd/Ctrl + Z is the best combination of keys to use when you've gone wrong and you want to go back a few steps. It's the one I use the most. Take Care, stay safe and good luck with the course.

Hi Kevin, I'm in word and using it for my book I'm writing and want to create a 'folder' of random pages from this book, to send as attachment in an email, is this possible and how please, please bear in mind i'm 80 years old, thank you, Raymond.
If you don't need to edit the pages I would take a screenshot of each page, renumber each screenshot as the relevant page and put them all in a file and send.
