most ground units have a Weapon disabled animation both STORM tanks will lower the weapons if you press P to turn off weapons. the missiles will totally drop flush with the tank and the cannon on the regular storm lowers to a nose down state. same applies to all Ursa/Lynx units will roll the top turret to the side (like the APC in Alien which it's inspired by) one ship i want to fit and i know it likley won't is the ARGO MPUV (which fits in a Corsair too) Same problem with putting the landing gears down will raise hight and it bumps the top of the bay. but you can park a MPUV in the Cosair with a BOX attached (16scu) the TAC will have a Hangar for the Fury so it should fit a few other ship types it's bascailly a combat carrack
@SpaceDad42 ... lol. You obviously haven't seen how-well the ATLS works as a "drop-suit. "Drop-ship" memes will be one-of the first-things we see regarding this ship.
... lovely. Thank-you! The MAX is appearing to be "The Pick" within the Starlancer series for the incredible versatility. I wish it were an "Exploration" ship, as well... but you will not be able to argue with this ship as more and more modular-gameloops make their-way into the game.
Keep in mind to open the canopy on ships like M50 where it opens upwards. That mights cause some trubal. That’s also why the Razor is always my favorite ship to put into cargo holds like the starlancer or corsair. The canopy just moves down to all sides and doesn’t glitch anything out
I like the whale, +120 scu in the belly, then alot of cargo behind and with 1 or 2 vehicles. Its nice ship for cargo, for vehicle transport and jobs you can do. The wildcat paint is the best i ever saw
oh bro, the roc fits easy in the side and the cyclones also fit in the side but you gotta almost tip them driving them in and when they raise they sit pretty inside
Whenever they rework the M50 they need to make the wings fold forward to compact its width maybe like a highspeed forward movement mode when the wongs are folded forward
Can you test what ships or vehicles fit alongside the Nursa in the rear hold? I wonder how it would compare to the TAC if a Nursa + Fury fits, for example.
Space Whale Shark. Baby whale shark du du doo.... can't wait to try it out when fully released. I really like it. Just some small tweaks to clear up some bugs and it will be good to go. Great job on the design
I'm looking forward to the Arrastra to see what fits in it. I've been theory crafting that one with pictures. I love when I can get a small ship with a QT drive into a ship because then you can use it for ferrying
Not likely. Fury is wider that most people think and since a Mule doesn't fit, there's slim chance for those two, but hey, someone will try it. Maybe even me. :) I keep imagining a bunch of pulse on the drop downs and furies in the back for a big base raid forces.
Hi this is great vid. Tryed to find something exactly like this. Thank you very much for it. Can you try Origin 100i? It would be crazy, bcs of its long lasting hydrogen and ability for another player to bedlog
@@JohnVanderbeck I don't assume that every medbed will be a respawn point forever. But a ship _this size_ should have some sort of medical facility to heal minor injuries and broken bones. You want to blame someone for cheapening the game, blame CIG and their desire to sell a million Nursas!
I would of liked the Starlancer MAX to have a snub dock kind of like how the Connie does. Maybe not for the Merlin but a Fury. Though given the Furys design I can see why it might be a little more tricky to do so over the merlin.
Aaannnddd C2/M2 for the win! I’m a little disappointed with what can fit in the StarLancer with over 200 SCU of space. The Corsair as much less scu storage and seems to be able to fit vehicles slightly better. I wish they would redo the top deck interiors on the starlifters. So much room to make a really cool interiors like the starlancers
I still think this ship (at least the tac version) is a carrack killer, has actual drop down cargo unlike the unfinished cargo pods of the carrack, and it will have a medbed. Now that you can fit a medical pices in there the max might as well be a carrack killer with that alone 😂
holy, thats crazy. Maybe i need to buy a P52/P72 or M50 ingame, for fun on plantes. And use that as a mothership. And still crazy have a M50 in the back and still 128 SCU space in the belley
These vehicle guns are on every single vehicle of that type, that is not the meaning of 'bespoke'. The term you want is *proprietary hardware*. Bespoke pertains to one of a kind clothing or jewelry made for one person (ever) - and there is only ONE in existence.
Getting a vehicle in is one thing... getting it out in a hurry is something else entirely :) Personally I don't like the fact that the rooms are super limited height wise... and that the entrance is slanted... that is very much a common theme in the SC ships however... not only the Starlancer... but and I REALLY dislike central walkway of the starlancer. With a bit more height and no walkway that ship could be a Tonk carrier which would be awesome. Launching a swarm of Pulses like a bunch of angry gnats from the central and back compartments would be funny AF however :) I would assume each side of the forward storage could have 5-6 pulses each, and a lot more in the arft compartment.
@@klazik4261 Same goes for the Polaris... that have a bay big enough for more than one, but it is not high enough to fit any thought. The Polaris is not a cargo ship...
It has always bothered me how many things people try to cram into these ships and say they "fit." Oh so delicately maneuvering, twisting, rolling, pivoting things into place over a considerable amount of time, and to a point where it takes equally, of not more time to carefully remove them is not what I would classify as "fitting." Do they literally fit? Sure. Do they reasonably/rationally fit? No. I for one can't wait to see this mentality go the way of the dinosaur. Cargo and hanger grids need to be clearly defined in order to hold cargo and ships in place during maneuvers. If the weight, size, or quantity of cargo/ships exceeds the grid, they should slide and bounce all over causing damage to everything involved. Maybe, just maybe an argument could be made to divert more power to the grid in order to maintain their position, but this should be at the cost of power elsewhere.

I changed my mind, the ship doesn't look like a whale. It looks like a massive pregnant whale.
Still better than polaris
And I f****** love it
... a big, beautiful cosmic-whale. And yes... pregnant.
Nobody cares OP
Just as long as a MISC ship isn't called a giant 🍆
The Storm is such a joke. A "mini" tank bigger than an Abrams and it can't fit in anything that can't fit the Nova.
As someone who is into tanks and armored warfare, yah the storm is an actual joke. Goes against everything a “light tank”should be.
pretty sure its even bigger thn a Maus tank
Imagine having jet pack troops just out from that drop down cargo bay 🐸
It’s a cargo ship…..not a troop ship. We will also not have jetpacks. This isn’t NMS.

It has a 40 minute reclaim time and 14 minutes after you pay expedited.
That's longer than the 600i 😮

Did the regular Storm in the video have it's weapon powered off?
Yes
yes
Does a fury fit folded up in the drop down cargo bay?
The storm would have fit, however it was the suspension getting hung up on the ramp. The storm is notorious for doing this on a lot of surfaces.
Have you tried the Merlin and Fury in the two cargo zone with the two doors ? It might fit I assume

Ground vehicles have weird bounciness to them this PTU, happens with the Storm even out on a hangar, and a Nursa too.
Does the 100i fit?
alll physics glitches are gonna cause a ton of frustration.. as well as ton of fun.
Nice, Nice, Dayo
you said 3 ROCs but if you can fit 2 on the sides like that then why not 4?
front has two elevators that stick out a bit so may block 4 but could maybe fit
Did yoy power down the gun on the storm? Try it, it stows at that point
if you turn your weapons off on he AA storm, that missile pod retracts
Hey if you press p by default it turns off the weapons and on the storm tanks it will reduce their height
I did that, at least I think I did, will have to retest that.
Not sure either but most people forget about this, and to me it looked like they were deployed, might have been wrong tough
