Came across the channel via Matt @highpeakautos and have got to say I’m impressed with the quality of the output. Great watching specialists work on cars that they really understand. Keep em coming 👍🏻
You highlight one of the things that happens with fast cast , they’re fun for ten minutes then you just get on with going A to B . Another great video .😅
Hello SPR Its me from last week comment section, first of all glad you got the mics sorted i did mention this last week shout out to your friends for sorting it. I have a C63 myself and im glad finally in the UK someone is doing a series on it. Around 30 min episodes are perfect they fit in with my lunch break lol Dont want 3 to 4 episodes for this series if you can make 10 minimum that would be great. Thank You 😊
I worked for MBUK back in the day when the 190 came out!!!!! Really enjoying this series as I've owned a few CL55's and an E63 before, so it's nice to see exactly what is involved with these jobs. Found you through High Peak if that helps you.
Wow, I have severe tool box envy when you got out the special tool for the engine mounts! Honestly, ignore the keyboard warriors you're all doing a great job, love to see the young lads getting hands dirty aswell, do you find the newer cars don't have the build quality as older cars now? Tom
Great content! Found you via High Peak Autos and love the way you show the full process rather than editing it ie “we’ve fitted that now….”. The C63 is a great car, nearly bought a 35K mile minter during lockdown but couldn’t bear to trade in my 2013 SLK55AMG. Subscribed and looking forward to the next instalment. TonyS
Errr, yes, but that was over two years ago. I’m past 65 now so I wanted a bit more luxury and comfort. I traded it last October for a 2017 SL500 4.7 twin turbo. 12.5K miles and two owners from new from a main dealer, sorry! (Though I think it may be even quicker!)@@sprautos
Only just found you really so watching vids from the beginning. How lucky is Nathan to get this apprenticeship. No nonsense good old fashioned mechanics. I really like these C63 v8’s. Looking forward to the series.
Hi guys again are across you via High Peak , Great vids ,the quality of the vids as you say just starting ,are really good . Your attention to detail with the vehicles is very impressive ,your customers are very lucky that they are getting top value for their money . Looking forward to future vids . 👏👏👍👍
Top video. Had work done by sam at spr. Best amg specialist around. The blown exhausts, will it not mean the cats are blocked causing pressure build up. Ive heard a few block up.
the welds crack on the cats on the AMGs generally becasue of worn engine mounts and or plenty of hooning around ;) but yes they can also break up block up that is not unheard of. but these cats are fine. Thank you for you kind words.
Would you have still paid the amount you did if you did know the amount of faults with the car. I hope everything goes well for you and the lads at the garage your a credit to your work..
i've always been a merc fan, but if you buy an older one nowadays your buggered. sad but true. as an ex parts man for many years i can't belieive how many problems you encounter with post 2000 models
After watching many of your videos, I am puzzled how with all the great German engineers they can come up with a engine that has so many issues, over complicated and no real advantages compared to basic US v8 engines, it really is astounding
Forget EV's. Fixing old cars is the greenest thing you can do.

You guys should be working for Petronas F1 team, astonishingly good video again, love watching them😂
It's great to see a mechanic who truly cares about the work that he does
never heard off this channel until matt brought his silver car in now im hooked but i own a 1999 BMW E38 not much use to me unless you do bmw .
Great progress. Nice to see someone who knows what they are doing ticking off the issues. Great stuff - audio much better too

Why all the demands? Are you paying them for the content?
Hahaha "catch the water mate" such a dad thing to say 😂😂
Don't ever change dude. Nathan is the man btw.

Thanks Richard. Good old 190e still a great car, bet you’ve got some tales from back in those days. Love the cl 55 and e63 👌
Absolutely love your videos. Who needs wheeler dealers.
Very impressive work and commentary. Well done

Great feedback, thanks Tony.
The SLk 55 is a rare car worth keeping hold of.

He certainly is.
You’ve got plenty of vids to catch up on.
Binge watched today. Finished that series. Looking to learn more about Mercs. See if I can be tempted away from Beemers.
Great welding!
Great job . Tell Nathan to wear protective glasses under the car
Looking forward to part 3 and a new Gearbox sump and service.
Enjoy buddy.

Dream team. Nathan knows his stuff, but he would have to working for you I guess! Great content. Super helpful!!
Great video - really interesting and informative! Many thanks for uploading it
Quality stuff lads 👌🏼
Unfortunately not all mechanics are as honest as you.
Great video again Sam and Co.... Keep up the great work...roll on the next Video 👌👏

Weld-done on the welding🙏🙏🍺🍺

It’s crazy isn’t it. Yet I needed a barrel and key for an old merc w123 estate from the 80s and I could get one 😂🤷🏼♂️
That must be VERY high temperature paint
Looks good to me 👍
The music ruins the vid mate, good work though😎💪
@@Weracemachines agreed, it was early days of editing and experimenting.
Is it really worth the trouble ?
saving it from the scrap grave! i would like to think so the last of the NA V8s, but you will have to watch the full series to find out.
@@sprautos already watched everything.
well there is more to come! @@sourabhsangale3952that you have not seen
I reckon they drove that through a flood/ford
£400 for a bit of average welding!! £40 more like :-)
Nice car though.
£40 To remove weld and refit! Good luck finding someone to do that.
But yea welding is average 😂
@@sprautos We're not here for your welding; we're here for your good looks and bubbly personality 🙂
