i feel one of the main reasons i enjoy pinzos content more than any of the other pred ccs is that, like he said, all the other ones are constantly trashing the game while pinzo actually likes it
Had to take a break from Soul because of the relentless negativity. Every now and again he'd break character and admit he loves the game, but there was a period where he and chat made a meme out of hating it, and it took over his streams.
One thing I think would be cool to implement is "hero challenges" where you do certain things specific to each hero and get a spray or a skin for it. For example, heal 65k health in one game as narbash to get a skin for him. Or get 3 kills with 1 gideon ult to receive this player icon People have been complaining about the skins and amber system and I think this is a way you can get a skin for your favorite heros by playing the game
I feel like the voices should be character specific spoken by the hero calling them. Thats another audio cue as to who is on the way or doing what without having to glance at the map.

One of my favorite variety UA-camrs Teo included an add for Pred in the middle of one of his recent vids. I was blown away, like 2 worlds colliding for me! So that gave me hope and excitement, they are definitely getting attention for full release
1.0 will determine if I keep the game installed or delete it. Took a break from it about 4 weeks ago because the toxicity was getting to me, and the game isnt rewarding enough for me to stick through the hatefulness. But if this Full Release adds in some actual incentive to keep playing and some rewards or some cool new features, then I'll come back for a bit. But if it's just more of the same, then I think I'm cool with just staying away. Cautiously optimistic though! I want it to succeed
The reason the game has become toxic, is simple you have too many players that aren’t any good, and don’t even know the abc of the game playing ranked, they don’t belong in ranked , that is for standard games, noobs, next people don’t play as a team, they don’t watch the map, they don’t rotate, they chase kills all over the map, this is a competitive game, always losing is know fun
@romans003 My issue is the ones who are going out of their way to be toxic though. My last game I played, I was playing Rampage casually, just trying out something new. Well game didn't go well, which is fine because I was experimenting. Other team's jungler is harassing me in my private messages about how much better his team is doing and blah, blah, blah. And I wasn't even salty about the loss, I was annoyed that someone went out of their way to be toxic. So that experience on top of all the people going AFK and just being whiny. Made me just want to not play anymore because the toxicity is not worth the lack of in-game rewards. I want to come back, but I need an actual reason

Almost everybody has an ego nowadays, and people will use any excuse to flaunt it around and try to make themselves feel good by making others feel like shit. Back in my younger days I was an OG Paragon and Smite player and I was pretty hardcore into some FPS and Fighting games as well. My ego just died a long time ago. Your assumption couldn't have been more wrong, my friend 😂 It really just boils down to the fact that I don't have a ton of time to play anymore. So when I do play, I'm not gonna tolerate people being dicks. But if the game is THAT worth playing, then I'll power through to keep playing. Pred just isn't rewarding enough at the moment to deal with it, for me. I have everyone unlocked, and Ranked is almost pointless, so there's nothing to grind for at the moment. If 1.0 brings in Amber uses and actual rewards for playing, then I'd probably come back for a bit.
I am diamond on omeda and have been stuck in gold 2 in ranked mode. I haven't played ranked a ton, but the toxicity is out of control so many unwinnable games.
-Much improved AI so new players can more realistically learn/train in AI matches. -A new map/mode (brawl is neat, but not enough) -Ranked 24/7. They can provide time & population windows to manage expectations -Daily/weekly challenges for cosmetics
I don't know if a new mode is the ideal solution. Smite doesn't even have solid data on if multiple modes is a good thing for the game. They said it might have been what made the game so popular to begin with, but it also might have split the queues enough that it hurt the matchmaking when the game was trying to gain traction. That was a long time ago though. In my opinion, a new mode is not the play when they are about to split the playerbase between casual and competitive with the upcoming 24/7 ranked. Why do I think this? Because the Brawl queues are fucking terrible. I am so tired of playing in gold and silver lobbies just because there wasn't enough plat/diamond players queueing. I have seen one GM Brawler in the entire time I have played Brawl and I've seen them up against bronze players. It's completely unfair for both of them, but that's what happens when you live in the West and queue the less popular mode. I usually play Brawl because it's a fun way to unwind after work. I have switched to playing East servers because the matchmaking doesn't make me want to vomit... as much... and the queue times are usually less than 5 minutes. I think a lot of West players have either left Brawl, left West servers, or left Pred altogether because the matchmaking and queue times are getting worse as time progresses.
@@gravedanc3r317 That sounds like a bad idea. I don't want to queue Standard and have 6/10 people voto to play Brawl or vice versa. I want to play the mode I queued to play. Another thing to note in this example is that most people would vote for Standard because it is the more popular mode, so I would get to play my favourite mode, Brawl, less often.
If theres going to be voice comms , it needs to be the characters voice so we know who its coming from , pings alone just dont help because players dont like to read the popups and get tunnel visioned.
Anyone else think that we might need a lil more ignorant optimism? I feel like if the community is majority always bashing the devs and the game, it’s not a very welcoming community to new eyes which we will be getting from gamescom. I personally do think that the pred community is pretty toxic in the sense that they expect too much out of this game so early on. This game isn’t being built by a big studio. If you’re expecting content patches like Fortnite or league, you are part of the problem. Talk less about what you want in the game and talk more about what the game needs (less fluff, more impactful/meaningful changes)
They had 20+ million in funding (ignoring game and skin sales), free assets which solo devs and modders have used much faster, several years of development and community feedback which they have outright ignored for 20+ months. The "toxicity" is the expected outcome of their disconnection and lacking communicated progress, had they bothered to show more consideration to community opinions or shared development progress for the things that don't get added instantly, maybe the community would be a lot more relaxed. They fumbled early access harder than many expected, their initial statements saying they would involve us heavily, only to do a few fluff polls, fluff events and fluff podcasts, nothing with actual substance/weight. I agree it's not a good look having the community be so loud and negative, but they sort of did this to themselves. Even a biweekly/monthly blogpost containing screenshots of things being developed, stuff they are tweaking, examples of what they have for the next or future updates, anything to interact with us directly like they promised would help a ton, they tried it maybe 3 times since launch and all of them were mostly fluff and statements that never turned out to be true.
Voice acting for callouts is great, but they should've had the voice actors for each individual hero do the comms, so that you can actually hear WHO is making the call-out. I agree, Smite vgs complicated at first, but once you learn it, even on console it slaps. Pred vgs has the bare minimum of callouts which is OK but not if it doesn't get updates. Im new so idk how long yall been waiting for stuff

I was hoping for a more angelic kind of voice for the pings to contrast the announcer. Basically Muriel's voice actor would have been perfect for the pings imo. That voice they have currently though is dog and they should change it.

We're all human, people have off games and restricting the already limited coms for next games is just a horrible way to try and counter toxicity. As soon as it happens every game you join after is hindered. Just let people say what they want we have mute buttons if people choose not to use it and get offended then I mean, come on. * I'm not sure if people get it but in Australia we get 110 ping per game which batches a lot of abilities causing the animation to go off but not the ability. If its a server issue lets just give OCE a proper sever instead of linking countries that don't speak the same language. * Pings being limited to 5, people don't react unless its spammed it's just how solo's work without a structure. * MMR for non ranked. Everytime this is brought up they react with "Omdea City isn't the real MMR" which has nothing to do with what people are asking for. People want fair games, I've tested it with smurf accounts and it could be my region issue alone, but my first game on a fresh account was put into gold +... This will force people to quit right away. Spliting the players isn't the best outcome, but having a split system where Bronze and Silvers can't be matched with gold is the only option to keep people that are new playing the game. Nobody will play again if they go 0 - 12.. And on the other side, someone in gold + doesn't want a team of bronze players doing the wild shit they do while trying to learn the game. Nobody should have to baby sit. These games go for up to an hour and for some that's all the time they get. * Completely reworked New Player approach. Make them play 5 bot lanes, or go through a tutorial video of each lane forcing them to understand things. Like a support CSing an ADCs minions kills the entire game and that can happen from 1 minute in. These need to be in the game on full release or Pred will be handicapped early on when it comes to player numbers VS Smite 2.
While there are some things that are missing forsure, the game feels more done than not. Sure I want them to continue to make these big promised changes, but that can be done when the game is live. The changes the team has made already feel great and this will be a good way to start REAL marketing. My biggest qualm has been that no one really knows about the game in a genre where you’re competing with big household franchises like league/smite.
Adding Wukong on the release date would be massive because for those that don’t know in 2 weeks is also the release date of Black Myth Wukong( look it up if you’re curious about the game)
24/7 ranked mode and perhaps a season pass is all it needs for 1.0 IMO. Smite is on update 10......, we're talking about this going 1.0... its not the end of the road!
It's not, and it will hurt them in the long term because it has the same fundamental problems as Paragon, and they haven't fixed any of them. I'm not talking about the lack of ranked play or some overpowered items. The way the map is designed, the way you get CS, and how it works in this game, along with certain character abilities being completely ineffective and only sometimes working on the traditional 5v5 map-and even then, they don't feel good to play with-They are all fundamental problems that Paragon had too. If all they want is to make a Paragon clone that people come back to for a couple of hours out of nostalgia that's but it won't go anywhere. More then that.
I don't really mind what rgsace said. Like you literally mentioned right after how so many content creators do the same song and dance bitching about the game every time they play it. I think that message was for them not you. At some point that bitching becomes much more negative than actual constructive criticism.
The big problem is he was once a content creator bitching about paragon along with the community, and he was respected for it as he should have been, the game was quite rough through most of its life. Now he's turned his back on criticising bad development decisions, gameplay issues, and the community he was once a beacon for, just so he can stroke his ego. He was the fun guy that joked about it being his game when he stomped people, to the guy saying it IS his game and that we should "let him cook" when he and his company make terrible decisions. It doesn't matter who the message was aimed at because it wasn't specified, it's just inappropriate for someone in his position to act this way, especially considering his past.

@@JordTheeNord The thing for me is it's not just 1 post, its 2 years of similar communication from him specifically. He shows up in twitch chats mocking criticism, saying he could test a change but wont, saying that the community doesn't understand what it wants, that we should "let them cook" because they have supposedly proven they can do so somewhere. Those that have followed him for years can see a shift in his behaviour and it's not very pleasant. I sort of agree that being CEO means he will change a bit, but he is cofounder and CEO, it's his company, he can set an example like many other amazing companies, coffee stain studios being a perfect example of what he and omeda could do better as in my opinion they do everything better from development to communication. The game needs a few big changes IMO. 1 is that free to play currency needs to be fully developed, they have continuously mislead/lied or went back on their word many times over the last 10 months about stuff like when we would get free ways to access specific content, they even tried to quell community outrage by saying they would expedite tokens only for them to not deliver at all. This is inexcusable IMO and needs to be resolved yesterday, especially for a free to play game with 0 reasons to play outside of gameplay, it simply won't hold significant engagement if other games have more/better incentives, or any incentives at the moment. Mastery/affinity was fun for about 2 months, they I got bored of it because I didn't want to spend, I haven't really bothered with it since and because of that I have 0 reason to play outside of ranked which has been too limited for me to care. Ranked is obviously opening up fast so I'm not really bothered about that. 2 would be balancing backend, or if they already have it, usage of it. It shouldn't take 2-6 weeks for them to acknowledge a broken, over or underpowered item/ability, they need to react much faster. Sometimes they do this well, but often they do not. I simply do not understand what is so hard about +/- 5 stat from an item to see if it impacts pickrate/performance, as a modder that use to do daily tweaks to mods I just do not get it at all, that's specifically what the backend is for. Maybe they need to develop their UI more so they can alert people of balance changes, but they have reworked the main UI 2+ times now so I don't see how that can be an issue. 3 is actual communication, not the fluff we have had the past 2 years. As mentioned before, coffee stain studios, they need to take a page out of their book. It's insane to me how half of the blogposts are just self praise and promises that never come to life, I want to see actual development, or examples of what they are planning, not just them saying x or y is planned but proof of such. If someone plans a new system they create a design document/image/whatever to work off of, since that is already done they can very easily screenshot even a part of it to show us, yet instead we get empty promises.
I feel theyll just have a small trailer announcing the release of v1.0, nothing that big, similar to what theyve done in the past, never seen them do something super big for a trailer/upcoming patch

With the game being on console they also have to take into consideration if it is possible on console. Example being the map pings. How can they add they on console? Just starting convo, not sure how to do that myself. Probably need something like the texting feature where it brings up a window.
There seems to be too many negative feedback loops in the pred community atm. They see one issue and hard focus on it. Then, when its fixed, they move onto something else. Pred needs to keep focusing on balancing and keep the game fresh and it'll be fine.

The trust has already been lost for a lot of players, and their anger is justified imo. This is where the main bulk of the criticism comes from.

they need to advertise the game better. there aren't enough players to make matchmaking good. the fact that a person can get matched with or against another player whose +/- 2 entire mmr brackets is unacceptable. silvers should never be match with plats and plats should never be matched with masters or even upper diamonds... my only gripe with the game is the absolutely garbage matchmaking.
I dont think it is. Theres still a LOT they need to do with the UI, they still dont have ranked all the time any time, the original heroes still havent all been released, the map is bad at this point, it needs to be redone at the very least among many other things. Unless they address AT LEAST those issues all at once, then no, its not ready. I DO like that we have a voice (i dont care if it sucks ass at all) that calls out what we ping, its a GOD SEND because now people will have NO EXCUSE when you ping that shit to not AT LEAST shoot your vision to the mini map and see whats happening, if you're able to go help etc. Also, Ace (in my experience) has a tendency to make BAD comments, comments he should never make. And the fact he thinks this game is ready for full release when theres so much missing graphically, gameplay wise, QOL features is INSANE. He sounded more like a fanboy than he did the CEO OF A COMPANY 😂
I dont like the map ping idea , from my experience when you play a game with a seasoned player and his team isnt 5-0 up in the first 10 minutes and stealing enemy jungle and getting every wave they just go instantly toxic and spam people with pings to cast blame on solo lane on the other side of the map all the while hes on tilt from the first 2 minutes of the game and is in fact the actual parasite ruining the teams chances.
Krashys just sounds entitled. Im just grateful that my favorite game of all time was remade. Krashys has this demanding attitude and I have no respect for that. Sure we all want pred to be the best game it can be but Krashys saying "this update BETTER be massive" just sounds so entitled and rude.

Ace shows his ass on discord WAY too much for him to be the CEO. His comments are almost always inappropriate coming from an omeda official enployee, and antagonistic to the players. I cant remember the last time i read one of his discord posts and thought to myself "Wow what an insightful comment." If he just kept it to himself people wouldnt have such a negative impression of him and omeda in general
I get the PTSD, I have it too even though I was a Wukong main, but who's to say he will do that in this game? They have already proven capable of changing kits and stats for the better. All they have to do, which Epic should have done, was reduce his tower damage or make it so his clones couldn't hit them (or appear on hitting them). Gid, Aurora, Howie, Feng and a few others have similar mobility to him, yet their tower damage was the limiting factor that made them feel fair compared to Wukong.
@@mykeh3155 Well said, I do have PTSD with this monkey haha. The thing with him is not only his mobility, but how fast he can clear the minions to get to your base. If Wukong was leaving HIS inhibitor and we did not RUSH to defend ours it was gone, his lane clear was ridiculous. If on top of that we add the dmg he did to towers and his mobility... Let´s see what Omaeda can do...hope they can fix him.

Content creators hate games when they aren’t better than everyone. Let’s be real. Most, not all, are childish and aren’t as good as they think they are. They can be good content creators but as gamers not as much.
I think Robbie making those comments is more to just call people's bluffs rather than anything super negative. Like you said, a surprising amount of streamers have made it their personalities to hate or "bluntly critique" the game and the developers but they also only play Predecessor. At some point you have to call it what it is as hate farming. Nobody is delusional enough to call the game perfect, it's far from it, but Robbie being a little snarky towards the people constantly insulting the game, company, and workers is warranted.

They said it might have been what made the game so popular to begin with, but it also might have split the queues enough that it hurt the matchmaking when the game was trying to gain traction. That was a long time ago though. In my opinion, a new mode is not the play when they are about to split the playerbase between casual and competitive with the upcoming 24/7 ranked.
Why do I think this? Because the Brawl queues are fucking terrible. I am so tired of playing in gold and silver lobbies just because there wasn't enough plat/diamond players queueing. I have seen one GM Brawler in the entire time I have played Brawl and I've seen them up against bronze players. It's completely unfair for both of them, but that's what happens when you live in the West and queue the less popular mode.
I usually play Brawl because it's a fun way to unwind after work. I have switched to playing East servers because the matchmaking doesn't make me want to vomit... as much... and the queue times are usually less than 5 minutes. I think a lot of West players have either left Brawl, left West servers, or left Pred altogether because the matchmaking and queue times are getting worse as time progresses.

@@gravedanc3r317 That sounds like a bad idea. I don't want to queue Standard and have 6/10 people voto to play Brawl or vice versa. I want to play the mode I queued to play.
Another thing to note in this example is that most people would vote for Standard because it is the more popular mode, so I would get to play my favourite mode, Brawl, less often.
If theres going to be voice comms , it needs to be the characters voice so we know who its coming from , pings alone just dont help because players dont like to read the popups and get tunnel visioned.
Anyone else think that we might need a lil more ignorant optimism? I feel like if the community is majority always bashing the devs and the game, it’s not a very welcoming community to new eyes which we will be getting from gamescom. I personally do think that the pred community is pretty toxic in the sense that they expect too much out of this game so early on. This game isn’t being built by a big studio. If you’re expecting content patches like Fortnite or league, you are part of the problem. Talk less about what you want in the game and talk more about what the game needs (less fluff, more impactful/meaningful changes)
They had 20+ million in funding (ignoring game and skin sales), free assets which solo devs and modders have used much faster, several years of development and community feedback which they have outright ignored for 20+ months. The "toxicity" is the expected outcome of their disconnection and lacking communicated progress, had they bothered to show more consideration to community opinions or shared development progress for the things that don't get added instantly, maybe the community would be a lot more relaxed. They fumbled early access harder than many expected, their initial statements saying they would involve us heavily, only to do a few fluff polls, fluff events and fluff podcasts, nothing with actual substance/weight.
I agree it's not a good look having the community be so loud and negative, but they sort of did this to themselves. Even a biweekly/monthly blogpost containing screenshots of things being developed, stuff they are tweaking, examples of what they have for the next or future updates, anything to interact with us directly like they promised would help a ton, they tried it maybe 3 times since launch and all of them were mostly fluff and statements that never turned out to be true.
Voice acting for callouts is great, but they should've had the voice actors for each individual hero do the comms, so that you can actually hear WHO is making the call-out. I agree, Smite vgs complicated at first, but once you learn it, even on console it slaps. Pred vgs has the bare minimum of callouts which is OK but not if it doesn't get updates. Im new so idk how long yall been waiting for stuff

I was hoping for a more angelic kind of voice for the pings to contrast the announcer. Basically Muriel's voice actor would have been perfect for the pings imo. That voice they have currently though is dog and they should change it.
Maybe that comment from RGSACE was because he’s feeling the pressure? Like he wants this game to succeed so badly but is scared it’s going to burn out the way paragon did. I love this game and I was so happy to be able to play my favorite characters again and I really hope they stick around for awhile.

* I'm not sure if people get it but in Australia we get 110 ping per game which batches a lot of abilities causing the animation to go off but not the ability. If its a server issue lets just give OCE a proper sever instead of linking countries that don't speak the same language.
* Pings being limited to 5, people don't react unless its spammed it's just how solo's work without a structure.
* MMR for non ranked. Everytime this is brought up they react with "Omdea City isn't the real MMR" which has nothing to do with what people are asking for. People want fair games, I've tested it with smurf accounts and it could be my region issue alone, but my first game on a fresh account was put into gold +... This will force people to quit right away. Spliting the players isn't the best outcome, but having a split system where Bronze and Silvers can't be matched with gold is the only option to keep people that are new playing the game. Nobody will play again if they go 0 - 12.. And on the other side, someone in gold + doesn't want a team of bronze players doing the wild shit they do while trying to learn the game. Nobody should have to baby sit. These games go for up to an hour and for some that's all the time they get.
* Completely reworked New Player approach. Make them play 5 bot lanes, or go through a tutorial video of each lane forcing them to understand things. Like a support CSing an ADCs minions kills the entire game and that can happen from 1 minute in.
These need to be in the game on full release or Pred will be handicapped early on when it comes to player numbers VS Smite 2.
Would also like to see Paragon skins for sale with amber at a minimum since it was straight copy pasta

While there are some things that are missing forsure, the game feels more done than not. Sure I want them to continue to make these big promised changes, but that can be done when the game is live. The changes the team has made already feel great and this will be a good way to start REAL marketing. My biggest qualm has been that no one really knows about the game in a genre where you’re competing with big household franchises like league/smite.
Adding Wukong on the release date would be massive because for those that don’t know in 2 weeks is also the release date of Black Myth Wukong( look it up if you’re curious about the game)

24/7 ranked mode and perhaps a season pass is all it needs for 1.0 IMO. Smite is on update 10......, we're talking about this going 1.0... its not the end of the road!
It's not, and it will hurt them in the long term because it has the same fundamental problems as Paragon, and they haven't fixed any of them. I'm not talking about the lack of ranked play or some overpowered items.
The way the map is designed, the way you get CS, and how it works in this game, along with certain character abilities being completely ineffective and only sometimes working on the traditional 5v5 map-and even then, they don't feel good to play with-They are all fundamental problems that Paragon had too. If all they want is to make a Paragon clone that people come back to for a couple of hours out of nostalgia that's but it won't go anywhere. More then that.

Like you literally mentioned right after how so many content creators do the same song and dance bitching about the game every time they play it. I think that message was for them not you. At some point that bitching becomes much more negative than actual constructive criticism.
The big problem is he was once a content creator bitching about paragon along with the community, and he was respected for it as he should have been, the game was quite rough through most of its life. Now he's turned his back on criticising bad development decisions, gameplay issues, and the community he was once a beacon for, just so he can stroke his ego. He was the fun guy that joked about it being his game when he stomped people, to the guy saying it IS his game and that we should "let him cook" when he and his company make terrible decisions. It doesn't matter who the message was aimed at because it wasn't specified, it's just inappropriate for someone in his position to act this way, especially considering his past.

He shows up in twitch chats mocking criticism, saying he could test a change but wont, saying that the community doesn't understand what it wants, that we should "let them cook" because they have supposedly proven they can do so somewhere. Those that have followed him for years can see a shift in his behaviour and it's not very pleasant.
I sort of agree that being CEO means he will change a bit, but he is cofounder and CEO, it's his company, he can set an example like many other amazing companies, coffee stain studios being a perfect example of what he and omeda could do better as in my opinion they do everything better from development to communication.
The game needs a few big changes IMO.
1 is that free to play currency needs to be fully developed, they have continuously mislead/lied or went back on their word many times over the last 10 months about stuff like when we would get free ways to access specific content, they even tried to quell community outrage by saying they would expedite tokens only for them to not deliver at all. This is inexcusable IMO and needs to be resolved yesterday, especially for a free to play game with 0 reasons to play outside of gameplay, it simply won't hold significant engagement if other games have more/better incentives, or any incentives at the moment. Mastery/affinity was fun for about 2 months, they I got bored of it because I didn't want to spend, I haven't really bothered with it since and because of that I have 0 reason to play outside of ranked which has been too limited for me to care. Ranked is obviously opening up fast so I'm not really bothered about that.
2 would be balancing backend, or if they already have it, usage of it. It shouldn't take 2-6 weeks for them to acknowledge a broken, over or underpowered item/ability, they need to react much faster. Sometimes they do this well, but often they do not. I simply do not understand what is so hard about +/- 5 stat from an item to see if it impacts pickrate/performance, as a modder that use to do daily tweaks to mods I just do not get it at all, that's specifically what the backend is for. Maybe they need to develop their UI more so they can alert people of balance changes, but they have reworked the main UI 2+ times now so I don't see how that can be an issue.
3 is actual communication, not the fluff we have had the past 2 years. As mentioned before, coffee stain studios, they need to take a page out of their book. It's insane to me how half of the blogposts are just self praise and promises that never come to life, I want to see actual development, or examples of what they are planning, not just them saying x or y is planned but proof of such. If someone plans a new system they create a design document/image/whatever to work off of, since that is already done they can very easily screenshot even a part of it to show us, yet instead we get empty promises.
I feel theyll just have a small trailer announcing the release of v1.0, nothing that big, similar to what theyve done in the past, never seen them do something super big for a trailer/upcoming patch

With the game being on console they also have to take into consideration if it is possible on console. Example being the map pings. How can they add they on console? Just starting convo, not sure how to do that myself. Probably need something like the texting feature where it brings up a window.

Nowhere near as many hours as most of you but I will also be hopefully waiting for a big update, but I'm enjoying the game regardless.
There seems to be too many negative feedback loops in the pred community atm. They see one issue and hard focus on it. Then, when its fixed, they move onto something else. Pred needs to keep focusing on balancing and keep the game fresh and it'll be fine.

they need to advertise the game better. there aren't enough players to make matchmaking good. the fact that a person can get matched with or against another player whose +/- 2 entire mmr brackets is unacceptable. silvers should never be match with plats and plats should never be matched with masters or even upper diamonds... my only gripe with the game is the absolutely garbage matchmaking.

I dont think it is. Theres still a LOT they need to do with the UI, they still dont have ranked all the time any time, the original heroes still havent all been released, the map is bad at this point, it needs to be redone at the very least among many other things. Unless they address AT LEAST those issues all at once, then no, its not ready. I DO like that we have a voice (i dont care if it sucks ass at all) that calls out what we ping, its a GOD SEND because now people will have NO EXCUSE when you ping that shit to not AT LEAST shoot your vision to the mini map and see whats happening, if you're able to go help etc. Also, Ace (in my experience) has a tendency to make BAD comments, comments he should never make. And the fact he thinks this game is ready for full release when theres so much missing graphically, gameplay wise, QOL features is INSANE. He sounded more like a fanboy than he did the CEO OF A COMPANY 😂

Hating on criticism from long time players is such an EA move and, first time I’m using this, that gives me an ick
I dont like the map ping idea , from my experience when you play a game with a seasoned player and his team isnt 5-0 up in the first 10 minutes and stealing enemy jungle and getting every wave they just go instantly toxic and spam people with pings to cast blame on solo lane on the other side of the map all the while hes on tilt from the first 2 minutes of the game and is in fact the actual parasite ruining the teams chances.

I cant remember the last time i read one of his discord posts and thought to myself "Wow what an insightful comment." I get the PTSD, I have it too even though I was a Wukong main, but who's to say he will do that in this game? They have already proven capable of changing kits and stats for the better. All they have to do, which Epic should have done, was reduce his tower damage or make it so his clones couldn't hit them (or appear on hitting them). Gid, Aurora, Howie, Feng and a few others have similar mobility to him, yet their tower damage was the limiting factor that made them feel fair compared to Wukong.
What about shinbi and grux who literally destroy towers just as fast..

If Wukong was leaving HIS inhibitor and we did not RUSH to defend ours it was gone, his lane clear was ridiculous. If on top of that we add the dmg he did to towers and his mobility...
