I've been saying from the beginning that I think 8 weeks is cool, but it feels too short for the devs to be able to focus on quality. I don’t care about the mount. I do care about the quality of the game. In my opinion they should take a step back, postpone any new content and fix all current content and systems. Really fix, than not just bandages. One great example is the bronze acquisition as you mentioned. I’m looking for an addon or weak aura to help me keep track of my weekly chores to get all the bronze. I don’t really mind time gating as long as I can do what I want to do. So just limit the bronze to 50 per week and make it farmable from the content I want to do. Another big issue is gear acquisition and item upgrades. Friction between different pve end game pillars. Fix it. The vault should not be the main source of progression. Fix it. And so. They should give themselves sometime and focus on fixing the game. The vision behind the game with regards to systems (warband, warband, npc crafting orders, m+ affixes) and story got so much better than the last few expac. Now it’s time to improve the quality of what’s in the game.

10:06 well that price is already set on top of a over priced over saturated game that jacked up prices years ago to get you used to it and now they can charge 90 dollars for a mount that’s more then the base game or an expansion, your paying more for the entire game just to get a mount.

That's not how game development works. WoW's engine is far older than ESO, and franklt I much prefer its artstyle over any of the games that go for semi-realism.

Firstly, does Dackor have Parkinson’s? The background gameplay looks like his mouse is on sandpaper. Secondly, this whole 20th anniversary event is terrible. I don’t know what I expected from this modern Blizzard team.
I watched this video now and it's kinda funny how I didn't even notice these things.
I agree with you about the tokens! I played the 20th Anniversary day one & no more! I couldn't get into any of the dungeons because of an hour or more wait time! The $90 mount is a big H*ll NO! The Revan Pack is good & I will get that! I will also be watching the show on Netflix! I hate the forced quests when logging in or starting a new character! I hope they learn from this!!!
I had a warrior the other day doing 470 million dps
10:06 well that price is already set on top of a over priced over saturated game that jacked up prices years ago to get you used to it and now they can charge 90 dollars for a mount that’s more then the base game or an expansion, your paying more for the entire game just to get a mount.
Looks like the Epic edition set a new default price point.
I'm hoping they don't mess up the MoP launch with an early access or load the shop with QoL slop, keep the shit devs/corpos and content in retail lol
13:01 WTF are you talking about the amount of money they make does not even come close to what they “say” they put back into the game. If they did the game graphically would look more like ESO, instead of painted over cardboard copy’s.
Blizzard literally sells wow to people twice and they buy it. Wow retail and wow classic.
It’s a scam.
That's not how game development works. WoW's engine is far older than ESO, and franklt I much prefer its artstyle over any of the games that go for semi-realism.

lmao the tiny little "fuck" at the very end
Its really hard to balance timegating. We need some time gating otherwise ppl will blast through the content in a few days then complain and unsub. But this anniversary token is a shit gating system...
Still waiting for them to restore the rest of my GB stuff they can't say they don't have the data, my GB was still intact on beta when it was wiped on live.
