Nice tutorial. I would like to see a tutorial in which you export a model (or through Plasticity Bridge) and import in Blender. The master piece would be, how you would proceed in uwunwrap the mess. I'm very interested how a pro is unwrapping such a model in a reasonable and quick manner.
Cool design, what would really be great is to see a cut-a-way and then take the time to see the internal, (of course those would have to be modeled), this cannon reminds me of the drone in the movie "Oblivion"
