Yes..., my prayers have been answered. I prayed that if the Seventh Day Adventist Church had a root of truth then let it sprout and grow to a mighty message. Otherwise, I wanted nothing to do with the false teachings that had somehow taken over the Seventh Day Adventist Church of my great grandmother and two grandmothers who taught something very different to what the Church teaches today. For a time frame, I will be turning 64yrs this year. Thank you so very much for publishing this talk.

The Church has a history of attacking the character of those so call apostates but I never see the Church address the issues they raised. Ballenger wrote a letter to sister White asking for clarification about the Sanctuary but because the questions challenge the veracity of the doctrine she never bother to answer his concerns. I'd choose the word "faith" instead of "religion". What are the differences between religion and faith? Specifically, faith is how much you believe and trust God. Hence, it determines the level of your commitment to a relationship with Him. It drives your spiritual maturity. On the other hand, religion is more of the system or the theology.

I am a believer in the God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob. I believe Lord Jesus Christ came to his own ( JEWS ) according to the scriptures. First, he died on the cross to redeem his own. Thormp1 : you must be born again or you will only be pretending to be good. The reason religion has always been a catalyst for destruction is because so few truly find the 'narrow way'. So few are truly born again by having the spirit of God indwelling. If you have religion but fail to have the spirit of the living a God indwelling changing your human hard heart to one of love, you will only be driven by human faults and passions. As a Protestant Christian who witnesses to a lot of Adventist, you are completely wrong on the doctrine that Adventist don’t hold the SDA church as Gods true and ONLY church. The SDA church was always a cult. Walter Martin did a lot of work with them in developing the book “Questions on doctrine “. This split the church because it deviated from true Adventist teachings to try and get rid of the label “Cult”. Many people left the SDA church when it folded traditional Christian teachings.
