I’m a brand new rider to enduro and these vids have been helping me improve my riding skills substantially. Without anyone in my life that rides dirt bikes in general I’ve mostly been self taught and been obsessively watching UA-cam vids to learn the basics to enduro. Thanks for breaking down all the essential basics the way you explain everything is really helpful in understanding better what I should be thinking or doing on the trails.
Best hard enduro advice in the biz. Thank you very much for taking the time to produce this content. I find it really helpful. Im currently learning pivot turns and double blips over 2' (+ or-) logs and boulders with a ton of success and your channel has been catalyst for my technique building! Thanks Rich!!
You said pick up your bike with a sense of urgency. I always do that to limit how many people see me down😂 Rich I’ve followed for a year or so. Watched maybe 50 videos. I absolutely love your channel. You’ve helped my riding a great amount. I wish I was closer(Indiana) so I could do in person sessions with you. So I settle with a little hill at home, few obstacles, and a camera.
Rich, you have outdone yourself again! You are not only an awesome hard enduro coach but also a “life coach”. What you just stated can easily be applied to everyday life and higher education situations. Thank you!
It is quite incredible how you can be efficient, clear, and cover many points in a few minutes ! Not a word and not a second is not of interest, and very pragmatic of our day to day rider life ! thanks so much, I feel now I know what to do and how to improve myself and access to more fun with all your vids ! By the way, this one could have been named "top 10 mental mistakes riders make", as this is more or less professionnal coaching applied on hard enduro ! Keep us coached !!!!! Thanks
We all are at fault on one or more of these points, Great reminder. Loved the David Goggins drop as well! One more point, #11 "If your bike looks like mine you know you are pushing yourself" Lol, great videos!
great series of videos I am trying to improve my riding with hopes of doing so gnarly bucket list rides this year anyway thanks your riding tips are awesome
Great content Rich. Very inspirational. I gotta think much more about these life lessons during my rides. Those are much more than tips. Those are life lessons! Thanks
#2 is all me. I go out with a plan then I just end up riding or totally forget to pay attention to certain techniques. And #6 I go out with intentions of focusing on "charging" corner to corner but then catch myself kind of cruising.
Awesome vid rich! noticed your SRT gear, I recently bought some of their plastics and was sceptical because they were so cheap but they actually fit really well and seem to be decent quality!
Hey from Australia here, Just wanted to say that I enjoy the videos. Your very well spoken , And are a great rider so its no surprise you make awesome training videos. Thanks heaps. BTW, Cool to hear you reference Goggins !
@@IRCTireUSAMoto A video on foot position would be great ( if you haven't already done one that I have missed. ) I seem to see pro's using a mixture of toes and knees pointed in, and toes and knees pointed more outward. Would like some clarification on when to use what style of foot positioning. I know the first is more moto and the second seems to be more of a trials thing but i see pro's using a mixture even in technical terrain. When riding a rock pit, one part of me thinks '' Squeeze the bike to stop it from moving around '' and the other part thinks '' open your legs up a bit to help yourself keep balance when the bike moves around ''. I've been experimenting and riding the rock pit over and over with different styles trying to figure out what works best but surely having a pro tell me how is the quicker way around all of this haha
This hits me as life advice..lol..yeah its very applicable on training motorcycle..and life..ridin dirtbikes is more fun though!! Gotta be open minded..every advice is like a currency..or gem!! Or a booster..gotta absorve it.thanks.
For an amateur weekend rider I do not agree that we should push when tired. Thats when stupid mistakes start to happen and it increases the chances of getting injured. Even when I participate in a race then my 1st goal is to go home uninjured, 2nd is to enjoy the ride and have fun 3rd is finishing the race and somewhere after that is the race result itself. Sometimes I get carried away and have to remind myself to slow down a bit. Otherwise great tips.
Hi Rich Not sure if you already made a vid about the fear riders might experience when trying to pass the next bigger challenge (obstacle, jump, etc...) for the first time. Me as a pretty old dude that started quite late in life do have this problem sometimes . (And I bet some other guys as well ;-) ) What is your opinion on how to overcome this? BR Martin
Fully agree your message, Overall I like your praktikable technical riding tips pointed out critical movements, Stay tuned - Greets from Austrian Mountains, 👍Arno
