You'd have to see them in person to see the improvement. The LED's are way brighter and unless you love orange the stock bulbs are pretty lame... You can personalize your car with the color you want. Passengers always are intrigued by the cluster being a different color (referring to our red one)

Check the dimmer switch located to the left of the wheel (usdm spec) if it's not connected then that's why. 99% sure that's why but if not check the other connections
Can I just take the orange "condoms" off? I saw this kit on eBay last week and thought about buying it. But if I can get white lights for free if rather do that
I honestly tried looking for my stock bulbs to try to remove the orange rubber off one of the lights but I have no idea where I left them.. Lol but I'm pretty sure you could remove the orange rubber if you wanted to. But in all honesty if you're going through the trouble of removing the cluster you might as well throw some LED's in there while you're at it. They will 110% be a more "clean" white and much brighter than the stock bulbs. Also depending on what year IS300 you have your stock bulbs are anywhere from 14-17 years old so you really don't know how much more life those stock bulbs have.

Thank you! But really does, the OEM orange color made the cluster look really dated! Both Gus and I are happy we made the switch! Worth every penny!

What' is the size of the smaller bulb? The big ones are t10s but the smaller ones im not sure.
do you gotta unplug the battery before installing the leds or just make sure the cars off?
You can unplug the battery if you want. We sometimes forget to unplug the battery and we unplug airbags and all haha.

On our cars there's a knob with a light bulb logo on it to the left of the steering wheel. I would think it's the same on your altezza.

they wont get as bright as this, they will however take away from the normal orange tint to like a off white that you see in 98-2005 silverados
I am assuming there is no difference between is200's cluster and is300s?
Not that I know of.
Since we live in the states and we only got the IS300, I can't 100% say they're the same but I want to say they are the same.
