I divide mine in two or three parts. One white TD, one part gold micas, one part yellow + gold and pipe them into the jar. For pear & Honey, Oatmeal Milk & Honey. I use a sprinkle of mystic gold on top. On TicTok I have video’s. It’s really popular.
Do you know what the melting point is for this? Wondering with summer approaching if it is more of a winter formulation because it will melt with summer temps. Thank you!
Yes you can use for your feet. The shelf life is determined by the ingredient with the shortest shelf life, so if an oil is good for 1 year and you opened it 6 months ago, you have 6 months left on it.
@joanneburt2034 Great question! 😊 You can substitute the stearic acid with a similar thickening agent like cetyl alcohol or even a bit more emulsifying wax, though the texture might be slightly different. It’s best to test it out to see if it gives you the consistency you want. Let me know how it goes! 🙌
I've been looking for a formula for a salt scrub!! And I love the way you describe your process and substitutions! I don't have stearic acid I have ceterayl alcohol. Could I use that in this formula?
this is an amazing recipe. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you liked the salt scrub recipe!

Orange would fit well!

Yes you can

Unlike a body butter, this is not going to melt in the heat. It would have to get very hot to melt it.
Thanks for this video🙏 how long is the shelf life? And used for feet?

Thanks!! You can definitely swap the steric acid out for cetearyl alcohol.
Can I add some Brazilian purple clay to this?
You might have to adjust the recipe a bit to add clay, but try it out!
Can we use sugar instead of dead sea salt?
Absolutely
Where did you get your containers from?

What type of salt is best to use for this fine or corse ?
I used fine sea salt
Thank you ! Would you be able to tell me how to make a bulk recipe ? I’m looking to make at least 20 batches at a time for 8oz jars
Just multiple the percentage in the recipe by the ounces you want to make, that will tell you how much of each ingredient to use
