500HP V6 Mustang - Procharger Supercharged 2015 Mustang 3.7L - MPT Dyno Tuned

- Опубліковано 25 сер 2016
- This 2015 Ford Mustang 3.7L was trailered over to us from SuperSix in Georgia for tuning on our dyno here in Longwood, Florida. It has a Procharger supercharger setup to run 12PSI along with DeatschWerks 65lb injectors, VMP fuel pump booster, ported intake manifolds, shorty headers, and aluminum driveshaft. On 93 octane it ended up putting down 406hp and 367ft-lbs. Once we switched over to VP MS109 fuel and dialed in some further changes it was able to put down 505hp and 418ft-lbs.
In 2015, the V6 Mustang changed from MAF based to Speed Density and tuning became much more involved. The final result is a perfect daily driving, clean burning car anyone can be proud of. This is a head turner for sure. Thanks Tom @ SuperSix for trusting us with your personal car. - Авто та транспорт
Every once in awhile I come back to this video to hopefully put it out into the universe that this will happen for me next year 😩
Just following up lol how’s it comming along? I’ve got a 2016 v6 and I’m starting to feel the same! 😎 Gotta love the mustangs!
You have to have the feeling that it's already their. Then after keep taken steps 🚶♂️ to manifest that to come. Did you ever get it???
@@jacobmcelveen8340 got my S550 v6 last fall. Manifesting paying it off so I can do this 😭🙏
If you guys are interested about this build, it is from super six motorsports
Nasty. Reminds me of my D1-SC 04 V6
Badass
I'm just gonna take the chance and get the procharger tune from you guys I'll be adding a few mods but definitely will get this set up by the end of next month I wanna push those numbers either e85 or this tune
NGL the procharger sounds like there's a construction site using a jackhammer down the street...
I know this was published a while back now. Where is y'all shop at. To give me v6 a upgrade.
It sounds like a blender with nails and screws in it, I want one.
is a fuel pump booster the only thing needed to run e85 on a 2015 v6 mustang with a procharger? other than tune
3.7 for ONCE actually sounds pretty good...
For a v6 these 3.7 sound good with some minor upgrades
What was the timing set at on 93oct at 12psi to only make 406? I’m on a 3.625 Griptec at 12psi w/ ported intake manifolds, LT’s and highflow cats. I’m at about 450ish on 91 with water/meth for cooling IAT’s.
wooo
Im interested 👌🏻
How much timing are you running at peak power for both the 93 and race gas runs?
Nice 3.7
Yes sir
I want to supercharge my 3.7 F-150. Would it be possible for you guys to do that?
whats your 0-60 looking like?
Are those dynographs at the wheels or crank?
Might let you guys pro charge my v6
Mustang Freak how did it go?
i am going build my.next
Take my money, my soul, my house 😂
Mula G hahahaha nice one
How much power can you make before the belt starts slipping?
🤔 How often does this slip happen honest question?
Can we please stop playing "street outlaw" and put air filters on our cars?
I am for CA
What gears does this have?
Why use shorty headers? I thought long tube headers helped with the performance of a supercharger.
Doesn’t make much of a difference
sorry for necro, but the reason is legality. shorty's are street legal, long tubes are off road only.
What wheels are those?
To MPT Performance, so I just got my procharger installed, haven't dyno'd it yet, I have a 2015 v6 mustang, and I'm comparing to other year v6 mustangs and their 1/8 time and 0-60 second time is almost similar or faster than my procharger, which makes no sense, have any idea why its like that? They are on tune obviously but I should be putting better numbers down. Also, I would like to get 500 whp, I have a roush cold air intake, borla atak catback exhaust, is there any way you could tune that or send me a tune? What do I have to do to get those numbers you are putting down?
We can turn up that setup for you over email or here on our dyno. Shoot us an email www.morepowertuning.com/contactus
406 hp dang that thing is a monster how much was the pro charger?
Around 7000
I want to get my 16 manual v6 procharged but I’ve heard a few people saying the MT82 transmission fucks up if you push it past 400hp. Anyone have any info about this or anything else that I might have to do before procharging my car ? I am currently saving money for it as it and please don’t say just get a v8, I really don’t care for the v8 sound
I’m over 450 with my 3.7 Trans is still holding
Imagine with E85 😳
How much does it cost total for all the parts needed to bolt on a supercharger and get going with mad power? Assuming I'd be installing it myself for my s550?
For the v6s it hovers around 5-6gs. Turbocharging costs less as far as I know, from high 3s to mid 4s
Draco Malformed what kind of turbo kit would you recommend me for my s550 around that price bro
if you want a kit from an aftermarket company you'll probably have to go the procharger route, otherwise hit up Jack from JM performance or Terry from TBbuilt and they can get you hooked up for a reasonable price. They're apart of the Cyclone 3.7 official page on FB
LPF is out there too, but I've heard nothing but bad about them
Draco Malformed go turbo. For 5-6k installed. I forgot what the kit is called
No drop at the top end, it wants more rpm!!
prochargers build boost as rpm rises so of course it wants more rpm for more boost
I have a 2015 3.7 automatic. K&N air filter and muffler deletion. I'm a gm guy and use hptuner. Haveing a hard time finding table channels for my layout to see hp, injectors, lt and st for fords. Would love some help on so I can see how the car is running to be able to tune. The lango and tables for ford are difficult enough atm lol. Ty if anyone could pass some layouts please.
We can set you up with an SCT tuner with our custom tuning for that setup. MPT tunes include a 60 day window where updated tunes based on datalogs are included. That way you can be sure that you are fully dialed in and making the most of that fuel and your modifications.
Only 406 hp with 12psi? There's others making that amount with only 8 psi I don't understand. I want an 8psi tune from you guys but I need at least 405 rwhp on a very conservative tune running 93 octane
What is that exact pro charger kit called ?
www.morepowertuning.com/15-16-procharger-mustang-37-stageii
Is this with stock internals?
Yes
Only thing I don't like it's the way it sound sound like metal on metal grinding
Procharger offers a quieter helical gearset as an upgrade
Why does it sound like there's something grinding in the engine?
Procharger does offer an optional helical gearset upgrade for noise reduction, but some prefer the raw sound of this setup.
noob here ..what's the difference between superchared and Procharged ? and ididnt know the s550 mustang v6 had this type of potential ..is this it's maximum before it becomes illegal on the street ?
Procharger is a particular brand of supercharger. As far as HP and street legality goes, there are plenty of production cars that make close to 1,000hp from the factory, well more than what this car is putting down.
MPT Performance yea because I hear a lot of corvettes tuned instead of saying supercharged ..it says Procharged ..I'm like wtf ? ..so the corvettes and this V6 s550 is basically modded by a special supercharger ?
Young Rios a procharger is a centrifugal supercharger. Which is a supercharger that works like a turbo but still pulls power of your motor to make power. Pro charger is just a brand bud. Any that disagrees can't see 5ft in front of them.... smh
There's nothing special about it. Get a twin screw if you can. Their better.
Jacques N thanks bro I just was wondering. .it's really none of my business anyway lol I can only turbocharge my car lol I have a GTI
super six makes an adaptor kit for eco boost turbos from the 3.5l f150 to be mounted on the 3.7l engine. might be less to do than a pro charger.
That will actually be more work than the Procharger (which is actually a relatively quick install), but it will likely cost a bit less too.
why is the 15+ v6 so much less power with a procharger?
Less? from my recall the 14 and below on a base procharger kit was only making 406 at the wheels.
12 psi is not a stock procharger boost level. 7.5lbs is. at 7.5lbs I made 400rwhp and now at 12lbs I'm making 474 on a very conservative tune. Something just seems odd if they have head work done also.
i did not see that he was runnin 12 psi. who knows could be the dyno differences in weather maybe?
true. no dynos are the same. Or it was crazy humid. I have seen that also.
+eclypse3d its in the description about the boost psi
I live in Florida myself, could I take my mustang to get dyno tuned by you guys?
Sure, shoot us an email to schedule an appointment. www.morepowertuning.com/dyno
+MPT Performance thanks a lot! I'll definitely try to make an appointment soon.
Where’d you buy the turbos from
www.morepowertuning.com/15-16-procharger-mustang-37-stageii
Can u guys please make MINE into that. How much money would yal like to do it? 10g?
A bit less than that, search "Procharger" on our site
Is there a reason why S550 V6s make less power? Mine´s running 10psi and putting down 450whp and 364wtq. Still pretty damn cool though.
JavierCR25 he may have a big boy supercharger. Psi means nothing. It's simply a measurement. If he has a bigger supercharger. He will be getting more power then you at lower psi. Also. By him running 2 more pounds (12psi) then you it's easily possible to get 500whp to the ground. So get a new tune for 12psi....
Jacques N actually it's the same procharger so volumetric flow is the same at a given psi. I was asking cause new 3.7s were purposely detuned as not to compete with the ecoboost, hence I was wondering where the "choking" was coming from.
Race fuel is to expensive. Go e85 still put down 500whp and way less expensive
Top speed after mods
So this car is running 12psi on stock internals?
These motors are in Mustangs running 9s with stock internals.
Is this 406 at the wheels or crank? That's a little more than 475hp at the crank if that's 406 to the wheels.... and these cars only weigh 3500lbs so 406rwhp would go a long way... it would be putting down more hp than the 2016 camaro ss.... that's a decent selling point
Justin L'Europa to the wheels, be quicker than most 5.0 coyotes, stock of course
What's that clanking noisie sounds awful
Aaron Henson talking about the pro charger?
procharger is a geared system so what you hear is the gears in the unit
Mine being procharged at the moment. So is that the most hp the motor can put out?
Built bottom end would be a good idea before pushing the 3.7L further.
mmagnetic2016 mustang any uploads on it?
KOOLNERD not yet but soon
mmagnetic2016 mustang what numbers did you end up getting? have you tested 0-60? I must know!!! I am considering this
KOOLNERD hey I got my mustang back will be uploading videos tomorrow. the car is a completely different car
406 REAR wheel hp?
Yup. If a car ever gets dyno'd, it is always WHP. Its crazy how ojumustang has 411whp but at 8psi on 93. This setup is 406 at 12psi.
There's a dyno graph towards the end.
So far we have not tuned for the nitrous system the car came in with. All the power figures quoted are without nitrous.
wouldnt the cyclone blow up at this power level?
Why do you say that? We've tuned many supercharged and turbo Mustang 3.7L cars at around this power level.
Retro Gamer bro these motors are strong as fuck for what they are. Lpt I believe it was ran 500hp turbo setup plus a 200shot. So essentially 700hp on a bone stock 3.7 and that bitch ran for months. Constantly running the shit out of it..... I believe they have it fully built with 1000hp now....
they can take 700-750 whp stock motor and 1000whp built the safe level is 600-680whp and thats daily driving and racing abuse
Sounded like it was out of oil on start up.. either the supercharger or the engine or both!! wtf?!!?
It's the supercharger. It sounds horrible on idle. I don't understand why the kits cost more than an engine. I'd be interested at $2000. That's all it's worth.
@@shahram72 i agree. these companies like vortech and paxton are really gouging people on pricing. 7 grand kit ends up being crazy money for 100 hp.
The vortech V3 on my 2006 is pretty quiet, I would be concerned with the sound of this one because that is loud. I really like those 3.7 engines too, they are underrated imo
should swap a 3.5 ecoboost in
They've already done that. See their other videos...
i follow that build since its started a long time ago but a 2015 and up didnt see one except for racing
From what I hear there is actually a 3.5 swapped S550 somewhere out there, but I've never actually seen it. I can't blame someone for Procharging the 3.7 though, it's a much easier way to make power than a swap.
true but love your build with the 3.5
love the procharger, but why an automatic?? geez..
Jesus H Medrano the auto is technialy faster so it depends what you want. paddle shifter js infinitly faster than a stick
kills me when they say it "faster" it might be on a strait but wake up theres a reason why its independant suspension its not made to go strait anymore its meant to be on a track now and there the 6 speed manual is faster, havent seen an auto keep up with the manual and those trannies heat up at the track.
Jesus H Medrano hence the part of my comment where i said "it depends what you want". maybe you like to drag race, maybe you loke to just drive track, kr hell maybe you drive it to work and dknt want to deal with a manual in rush hour.
only a woman should care what kind of stick a man has
huh, i wasnt talking bout that kinda stick maybe u like that dhit i dont to each his own..
lol u have to run 7k to get 500
I wouldnt want to hear that rattly procharger ever day. Sounds horrible at idle.
wilecatrexy agree on the noise and they offer a quiet version with helical gearset for that exact reason.
Very cool. Have to say the sound is horrible... and please use an air cleaner... not worth the engine
wooo
Only 406 hp with 12psi? There's others making that amount with only 8 psi I don't understand. I want an 8psi tune from you guys but I need at least 405 rwhp on a very conservative tune running 93 octane
How much for this 500hp setup?
Like 10k
