- I’m not the best at making UA-cam videos. But here’s a brief walk though of my 2017 Mustang V6 (3.7) with a P1SC-1 Procharger.

Actually, it’s a 6r80. I understand if you withdraw your comment. Lol. I do know how to drive the fuck out of a manual, though. But, I’ve just been digging the luxury of the automatic here in the AZ rush hours. The selector is a White Madness Garage conversion kit. It looks waaaay better than that alien dick looking auto selector that comes in these cars. Also the auto start feature is a MUST here in AZ summers.
@@AtticAZ oh my bad hahaha, yeah i agree if you in AZ you need that automatic start its always damn hot down there its to to hot hahah. I feel it and yeah stick in traffic no good also my leg be all shaking and tired after a while with the stop and go traffic lol

Can you help me use forscan to be able to put the drive modes? I installed the sync 3 on my v6 but I can’t enable the drive modes. I can pay you for the help.

Looks nice. Same rims on mine, staggered. 12' 3.7 6spd. You'll get a LOT more MUMUMUMUM out of a manual.
nice build, I've done basically the same with brakes and suspension. next is going to be a procharger kit. you've obviously done some nice upgrades to the kit and added boost. how much HP did it add? and hows the reliability? i do a lot of track days and need it to be dependable. people in vettes and mach I's hate getting passed by a V6 mustang!

I almost done with my Bolt ons. Just trying decide on gears for auto. Should I do 3.55 or 3.73? Next I’m trying to decide if I should pro-charge or go turbo? What do you think?
I have 3.55’s. I love them. If you are planning on Procharging, I’d do 3.55’s, since you aren’t in boost as much as a turbo. I heard 3.31’s are good for Turbo.
As for which form of boost to pick, it depends on what you want your car for. Procharger is less trouble to install. You have to really step on the gas to get the power you want. Turbo, the power is strong off the bat and no need to completely floor it. Auto Mafia Racing makes a great single turbo kit for 3.7’s. They actually have a full install video on their UA-cam channel.
@@AtticAZ thanks man I do have a throttle controller. So I wondering if that will help with wether or not I would need to floor it. I have seen auto mafia racing and I am debating which one I should do. I am very diy so I have confidence that I can do it. I installed all of my exhaust shorty headers, xpipe, diffuser, quad tips, and I self ported my manifold, etc.... But anyways awesome build I love it keep up the posts!

You can buy the upgraded dash and screen and install it by itself.

What tower brace did you use for this? All the ones ive tried to get wont fit with how tall the engine sits. Or did you change hoods as well?
wherw did you buy the rear diffuser and does it fit stock v6 rear bumber?
How much WHP are you looking at?
This is similar to what im doing with mine but im not sure where to start and i suck at finding interior parts.

Wait with the sync 3 you can change drive modes?? Like sport, wet and track?? But it actually change the car performance? For example if I put it in sport mode the car reacts differently?
All of our cars can. It changes the throttle response. If you have an automatic, it changes the shift schedule, also. The feature is in all the computers, just disabled. The Sync3 system just has the toggle switch that controls it. There are only 2 things you need to change with a software called FORScan that will allow the modes to work.

What strut tower brace did you use I’ve been told I can’t fit one because of the height of the 3.7 engine but that looks right at home and looks really nice!
What strut tower brace is that and how did you fit it? Every place says you can’t fit them on the 3.7 :/
You need to add spacers for it to clear the intake manifold; but not too many that it hits the underside of the hood.
Where u get that , strut brace from? Did u install the Procharger yourself and was it difficult install?
The brace was off eBay. And yes, self install. I did absolutely everything myself except for the tuning.
i don’t like how they stopped making the v6 but i’m happy the last one for now comes in the current body style

Not sure. I’ve been lazy getting it dyno’d. I was told I should be at 450. But, I’m thinking it feels more like. 400-410. I’ll upload a video as soon as I get it on one. 👌🏼

How do u get line lock and boost gauges activated on a V6 mustang?
FORScan. There’s a YT video that shows how to enabled the boost gauge. But the as for line lock, FORScan stopped providing the version that allows how to do that in-depth stuff. People weren’t following the instructions properly and bricked their car’s computers.
i got a 2023 3LT RS V6 10 speed auto with the npp exhaust from factory, at 20 years old,
id love to run into one of these 2017 v6 mustangs i think they sexy ash idk why ford didn’t continue the v6… have a feeling it’ll b back like usal..

You do anything special to fit the strut tower brace? All I’ve heard is they won’t fit over the Cyclone’s intake
If you have the firewall brace already, you only need 2 washers under the passenger side brace. Then it fits.

Did I miss, how much HP and Torq, it make, and what size are the tires?. Clean and beautiful build. GJ mate.
Haven’t had it dyno’d yet. Also I had since replaced the engine. The original spun a rod bearing. I am currently retuning and will get it on a dyno, most likely when. It cools off.
I’m hoping for 450, as I am only on pump gas and water/methanol.
The tires sizes are 255/40r19 all around. But will be putting 295/35r19 on rear soon.

The 3.7 has so much more engine space over the 5.0
3.7 and 5.0 have similar bore and stroke sizes so its like having two less cylinders in the bay lol

Whats the HP?
Hasn’t been on the dyno yet. But it’s estimated to be around 450. We will see the tune allows for added timing if the meth or an octane booster is used. I’ll be sure to post up the results.

How do you get line lock
You used to be able to use FORScan and upgrade the ABS Firmware to GT Firmware and change a few things. But FORScan stopped the downloading of the version that allowed it, as people were not following the directions and bricked there cars. The only other way now, that I know of, is to buy a GT ABS module, install it (since it has the firmware) and do the changes…. As long as FORScan still has the option to change what you need.
Mustang6g has a couple threads on it. It’s where I found it.

I’m not in it for miles per gallon. People get too cry baby about miles per gallon and gas prices. I get it if you’re broke. But I make plenty of money and have zero issue with filling her up. LOVE THIS CAR.
How did you get the drive modes enabled?
I used the thread on Mustang6g forums after installing the Sync3 system. You have to have the toggle switches.

Glad it has not been turned into a riced out Wigger mobile. I own two well optioned souped-up V8 powered 5.0 GT's (1989 & 2017). I am impressed by what has been done to this base V6 car. USA 💪❕

How the hell you fit that strut tower brace?
Stainless steel washers as spacers to lift it just enough to clear the intake manifold, but not hit the hood liner.
Ford is very lazy when I comes to these cars. You know how everything is interchangeable band and fits…. It’s just the way our manifold sits that makes it not fit. Ford didn’t want to make a different strut bar for our cars so they left it off, when all they needed to do was add a couple spacers. 🤷🏻♂️
