Good for relaxing, reading, studying, and not letting your heart of gold be taken from you. POV changes every 5 minutes or so. #ambientsouls
Love how every Souls game has that safe haven where you can just rest and listen to beautiful music. My favorite is Majula, with the Nexus and Firelink Shrine next. Thank you for this video!
Thank you! Totally agree. They serve such an important role to recover after a tough battle. Which makes it all the more insidious whenever a sinister NPC shows up! I'm hoping to do Majula in the near future.

Never realized how good the nexus theme is to fall asleep. I've been listening to the character creation theme for some weeks til I fall asleep but this one is awesome too.
I don't know if there's an audience for "character creation ambience" but now I'm thinking about it....

The REAL Nexus. Warm dust, washed out colors, humming of magic, slow plucking of strings, it all feels like safety... for now. The remake makes things seem too grand and epic actually, Gregorian chants and cold tones just bug me after having played the original first. Design decisions were made as a result of limitations with the PS3, and after the graphics are updated to PS5, things just feel... off.
I've heard this a lot, actually! It would have been nice to get a straightforward remaster bundled with the remake. Just an uprezzed port without any changes (well, okay, pure bladestone drop rate could be changed, I wouldn't argue with that). But yes, I love how safe and comforting the Nexus feels! Thanks for watching.
