New 2019 37' Freeman Boatworks Delivery and Walk-Through

- We just took delivery of a brand new 2019 37’ Freeman Boatworks!! It’s powered by quad yamaha 300’s, has the latest Simrad electronics, hooker electric livewell pumps, a loud JL audio sound system and speaker package, two airmar transducers, rupp z30 outrigger bases and a pair of marsh tacky carbon outriggers!
How I miss doing things like this. Beautiful boat and family. God Bless n stay safe when u r out on the water!

This is the ultimate fishing boat for where you live and fish. Congratulations! Here in Northern California I would enjoy such a great boat but most days I would not due to weather conditions. I have a 25 foot Skipjack that was designed for our local conditions. I hope to someday travel east and spend a day fishing with you.

Bud and Mary's! Rented a little cc there 20yrs ago. Super people! Hooked me up with some dolphin belly then idled myself out to the channel and the rest of the day was epic tarpon action! I'll never forget it. Congrats on the boat, she's amazing!

make sure to seal the deck core around all the holes, I was surprised to see it was not done by the yard, since the boat looks well built

You can get a uv protection spray onto the polycarbonate or put a uv protection film on it and it'll keep it clear for a long time

Stanzfam, we also have Simrad electronics on our boat too. We have two NSS9 evo3 displays. We have a transducer capable of high/low chirp and StructureScan.

Awesome new boat! < made that comment in the 1st minute of video. But just watched the entire thing. This is such a great video. I loved seeing you go over the entire boat including every hatch. Love that it's a cat hull. Better stability when it's snotty out there. I could go on raving about everything in this video. Including seeing the whole fam. Definitely need to make a stop at the marina next time I have to drive up to Miami.

Use starbrite marine isinglass cleaner for the glass the stuff works amazing and will keep that glass clean and like new forever

Just a thought, I wonder if putting clear tearoffs on that windscreen and replacing it routinely would help keep it in good shape? They do it in Nascar and for motorcycle goggles.

Console space is small, toilet takes up a lot of the space. Marine toilets stink with sea water, and usually leak after a while. The old boat had one, but I didn’t want one this time for the above listed reasons. We have a nice 5 gallon bucket If they need it.

Fished on a Freeman in La. , it pitched side to side constantly in 3 ft seas , did capt. not have trimmed properly , could not even use auto pilot. Nice boat , just curious about that
The boat drifts great while fishing and running it will “catch” a little at certain angles (side to/beam sea) when it’s rough, but Usually the person driving has a lot to do with the comfort of the ride. In a side to sea it’s definitely best to trim the up sea side down, but you do get a little more spray. In 3’ waves you shouldn’t really notice it, once you start getting to 4’-5’ seas and bigger is when I usually start having to “drive” it and adjust the trim of the motors.

All Tri-Hulls are like that. They do ride good under power though. EDIT I should have said that they cut waves better under power and they're quite stable. The roll is minimized.

First off, your thinking like a peasant. People that can afford half million dollar boats that cost 4,000 bucks just to fill up the gas tank could probably care less. He probably makes six figures a month like a lot of the people who own these boats, so it's not something wealthy people think about. I make six figures a year and I'd wrap the shit out of that boat just to protect it, but I'm a peasant, this guy is clearly much better off than me. My brother in law makes over a million a year, he has a boat that cost 800k. He doesn't take very good care of it and only goes out on it a couple times a year. From my perspective hes an idiot, but when your rich as fuck, you can do what you want.

Interesting boat, but if your doing charters, I would like to see them fit a head in the center console area, I think I will wait a year and get some more data on this vessel. But I like it and will check them out.
I had a head in the console on our original 37’ Freeman. Purposely left it out this time. Much easier for someone to use a bucket

Wow what a rig. Would like too see how the 599LM performs for 1800 ft and whether the chirp can separate the deep water scatter layer from swordfish targets. I have a 295 with a 3kw 38khz and have trouble identifying my targets

That thing is gonna FLY on a calm day, 1/2 tank or less and less people...73mph?? Of course, at probably over $700,000 for that sponsored boat, I can imagine the payment to be upwards of over $6000/mo! Luckily, they threw in the lovebugs for FREE!! (Speed-wise, It better fly for that cost for anyone who has that beauty!) :)
