Love your stuff Daley, got my first ever fight coming up for cancer research at an ultra white collar event, would love some tips, but the stuff you've put on your channel has really given me a better understanding and boxing iq already so can't wait till fight night in November. Keep up the good work and Content
thats what my guard is missing, the clinch. I dont ever clinch. Instead i take the barrage that comes my way and try to time a counter. When cliching would stop the bs right in its tracks. I always thought clinch was frowned upon, so i tried to stay away from it. But you're right, im tall and im taking bs for no reason. a clinch would end that barrage right away. You got anything on what to do with fighters who pressure with foot work. i.e. cutting off the ring as your on your back foot. pressing forward while you throw the jab but they dont back down.
hey im a 6´7 fighter and I get told a lot that I need to relax more while sparring and showboxing because I tight my shoulders and upper body too much. I am struggling w this because its draining my energy. Do you have any advice for this?

Thanks for these tips! Why do you have your fighter move the faint jab up instead of straight forward like a normal jab?
