THANKS for another fun album to make! I have lots of paper stash to work with and think I may make a "wedding planning" themed album for my soon-to-be daughter (wedding in 2021).
I probably will do 10-12 pages to allow room for decor. I can make an additional album with the remaining pages. One for each granddaughter! Thank you! LOVE YOUR TUTORIAL!

Just made this with 18 inserts - it takes about 20 2 sided cardstock papers with extra for embellishing. I'm going to be using a total of about 24 pretty papers and a couple of plain cardstock for mats, etc. This is such a great tutorial. I really love the way you teach. You make it so that we can follow along step by step and be successful. Thanks so very much for sharing your talents.

so i followed along and made one for a baby book. I only had the stretchy twine, i didn't hear until the end to use some with elastic. It worked wonderfully! thank you so much. again i love your voice and videos, so relaxing!

Oh thank you for this idea!! I bought a box of pre-made signatures at a thrift store. They were all pre-bound so I had no idea how to get them into a cover. This will be perfect!! I have a hardcover book that I've picked out for the cover so putting elastics around the spine will work beautifully.
I really do like this, very cute, and a great way to use paper. I think the elastic idea is a good one. Can bling it up a little by using 2 mm elastic in gold.

I was completely inspired by your tutorial and had to try it. It came out adorable💕 Can't wait to embellish it. I did two things different. I added a ribbon closer before adding the paper to the inside cover. I also left the twine lose and did not tie it off until after I added the paper. 🥰 Love love love it!

Love your album, Amber! I've used the twine binding method putting signatures in my journals. I've watched Natasa from Treasure Books do it that way... But usually, for me, I have done only 1 up to maybe 5 strings. Depending on how wide my spine is, and how many signatures I'm putting in. I've also done the twine binding with elastic cord, putting inserts in a traveler's notebook. But I never thought of making an album that way. I'm thinking...I may have to be getting out my stash!
