Thank you!! My dad passed in April. We found huge box of cards. Notebooks and envelopes. I took them as a crafter. My family thought I’m hoarder. I recently decided to make each of them an album out of the box. Think it be humble and a fun gift. Can’t wait to use your ideas. Thank u for sharing your projects and ideas. ❤️🐼❤️
I have to confess something! I don't craft. At all. I have neither the creativity nor the patience. But I really enjoy your videos. You have such wonderful ideas and you're an excellent teacher. You show step-by-step how to make a project. Your videos are succinct yet comprehensive. The explanations of different kinds of glue and what they're best suited for was valuable to me. Thanks for all you do!
Just a money saving tip to share with you Amber...Dollar General not Dollar Tree has a pack of A2 size cards and envelopes. Blank white and comes 10 in a pack for $1 . just helping everyone out, bc u could get 50 for $5! Not bad! 💖😊 love your video..gona get started on mine now!! TYFS Amber! We 💘 you!
My shoe boxes are full of your craft projects. They're quick 'n easy and they turn out really cute. I like having a variety on hand for gifting and donating to children's hospitals. Especially at Christmas time. If my collection continues to grow though I may need to consider selling at a craft fair. Thanks, Amber. You've been an inspiration to me.
I've bought more Anna Griffin items than I have time to utilize, but each demonstration/HSN show draws me in and so my stash continues to grow. I have, though, bought your Christmas card kits and made more cards than I need each year. Yet I continue to buy them as they are so beautiful. I admire your design team and those customers who share their creations. It truly inspires me. I used to make more scrapbook pages but now I make more cards. I do wish though that more scrapbook pages would be shared to once again inspire me to finish the hundreds of pictures that need to be completed. Thanks for all you do and, yes, I consider you to be an essential business as making these beautiful creations are very healing in these trying times.
Love your super easy to make and beautiful Mini Albums, my super Amber! You are so creative! And love the Clean and Simple decir of your Cover! Beautiful work. Thank you for sharing how you make it! Big hug and lots ve 🤗💝
Thank you for your tutorial. I have been crafting for 12 months but my stash is very limited. I dont have a channel, but i do support quite a few utubers. I have never made an album, but you have made it look so easy. I will definitely try one of these. Thank you so much and stay safe xxx
PVA glue, is an Actual book binding glue for Many... the way you do your books, you could Really use a diy book press... super easy, And, diy, means, you can make it any size you want. SUPER EASY, 4 lag bolts, and wing nuts, 2 wooden cutting boards... countersink lag bolts... just need to be drilled evenly... both boards...
Thank you for doing this tutorial for beginners. With your instructions I have confidence that I can do this project. Thanks again so very much for thinking of beginners.
Thank you for this... I have been looking for a video just like this. Very explanatory and very spirited, you make it seem so easy and also show us that we don't have to spend so much money .
I absolutely love memory Albums but always find them difficult to do.Ive been card making for about a year now and have a good stash collection now,so I've tried making albums but they never turn out right ,and Then I found your videos and I just want to say Thank you soooooo much for doing these.Your so talented and I love your makes.Keep safe and have a lovely day.xxx
I’ve watched so many mini album tutorials... yours are the best! The flow of the video... you know when to speed it up and slow it down..and your projects aren’t to overwhelming and they are all so pretty..thx for all the time you spend! Much appreciated ☮️
The glue that I’ve been using for my paper crafts is by Prima Marketing, Planner Glue Pen. It’s a gel based clear tube glue, reposition-able when wet, permanent when dry. Dries clear, non-toxic, acid and Xylene free. Love your video, thanks for showing us this great mini album. Goodness knows I have more then enough paper. I love it when you do these types of videos. Thanks again. Good to see you. Be well, stay safe!
Thanks, Amber. Would be a fun project for attendees at 10-yr-old granddaughter's birthday party. Pre-cut sheets and envelopes for kids; provide scraps and stickers so they can decorate cover & fill pockets. What fun! Love it! TFS. Cheryl in AZ
You're not just a great crafter, you're a great teacher. This is a fantastic idea and so versatile. I have some young nieces who would use these as glue books. I was also thinking art journal, depending on the types of paper used. Even an altered journal..... anyway, I just love this! Thank you for sharing this!
Hi I just watched your video. You are a great teacher. Your voice is smoothing your take time explaining what you doing. This is important for beginners like me. I subscribed to your channel tonight. Keep up the good work I love your music. Very calming. What size round punch do you recommend? IAmazon has a 3 pack. Not sure if I should buy 1 stamp or 3 different sizes! Which way do you recommend I show go? Thanks in advance for your time and opinion. Best wishes & keep up the good work. Kay🦋👍💜
What a wonderful idea for starters, such as I!! Think I just may know a little girl that would enjoy adding "stuff" to this little album. Must do one. Be safe Amber & TYFS
Love this mini album, Amber. I love your tutorials. I have a tip for you. When I need to line up two pieces of paper or cardstock that have to be flush, I use the corner of my Stamp Platform or scoring board. I lay down the bottom piece, put my adhesive on the top piece, and use the corner to line them up. Hope this helps!
I use Alene's Tacky glue for paper that is not as heavy as cardstock. I thin it very slightly with distilled water and add it to a small container with a very small metal tip that has a cap. It is strong and if applied thinly does not make the paper "bumpy".
Hi Amber...I would love a video on different album layouts. I love to construct all your albums and I have collected so many cool decorations BUT when it's time for decoration I am frozen. I would love to see you just show different pages and ideas of decoration for albums-either pockets or journaling or anything. I love your videos!
Hello Sweet Amber ,good to hear from you! You one of my favorite teachers..I hope that you and your family is well happy and safe ...Thank you for all you share with us..Have A Beautiful Blessed Evening!!
I made a folder-style pocket for my daily planner. I folded a piece of paper the length of the open side then glued on both sides, closing the opening. I've even used washi tape and origami paper to do this this.
Try Elmer's (Extra Strong) glue. One of UA-cam's paper crafters (CraftyRia?) says it works as well as Art Glitter Glue for a fraction of the cost. AND it doesn't clog the fine tip as often. Sounds good to me!
Thank you for sharing this beginner album! I just got all the paper and ephemera to make my first album, my trip to England last year. You always do such a great job explaining everything. Thank you!
Hi- new subbie here and I so loved your video! I started gathering supplies and papers(this took me the longest), and it took me all day nearly but I finished an album! I had to adjust measurements because my envelopes were different size, but it worked! I love it! Thanks so much for the clear directions and samples!😊
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for!! I have pads and pads of single sided paper that I need to use. I made one tonight - your instructions were magnificent...thank you for giving measurements in a way that it was super simple to convert to my card/envelope size. I plan to make a dozen for my church craft fair. ❤️
Well, you have done it again. I just love watching you. I made the Card stock mini album #5 and just loved it. Now I will have to get me some envelopes and cards and make one.thanks for sharing. Be safe and have a great week. Cindy/Carrollton
These are so very cute, but if I made them I'd not throw away the scraps that you cut off. Those are peices that I can find a use for in other projects. They would be good frankinpaper !! I do love the outcome of these !!!
You should buy the fine tip attachment for the Art Glitter glue and use the stainless steel pin that comes with it to close the glue top. . It is wonderful for getting fine lines. This glue is SUPER.
Love this and the additional flaps are great! I don't really have the envelopes, so will make the flaps just using some of the same cardstock I use to make the cards. Such a good way to use single sided papers which I have so much of! Love binding it this way too as is to easy. I just happened to get some similar glue and now I want to try it out.. have had it a couple of years!
You are amazing!! I love watching all of your video's - I can't get enough of them. So detailed and everything is so beautiful!! Thanks so much for all that you do for us. Stay safe and healthy!
Thank you Amber, I’ve been wanting to make a mini album. You explained this and broke it down and made it where I’m going to make this tomorrow. Love your videos.
Love it!! This will be a fun project that my daughter and I can do, on her next visit...as soon as we get let out...lol. She can make one for her bestie and include pictures of themselves. Also, I had learned something about Art Glitter glue. The name came about because it was purposely created for applying glitter....Since it dries clear. Don't know how true this is, but it does make sense. Thanks for telling us about the PVA glue. And using a brush, you definitely won't have any glue bumps on your paper that may show on the other side. Love your channel! Saving this video for sure! 🥰 Stay safe....Hugs 💟 Suzy
What a amazing way to make iam definitely a beginner and I think this will be great I don’t have any collection but I can use what ever I have to make cute ❤️
Love the craft! A hint for you: you may want to get glue tip for your Art Glitter glue. The tip allows you to make a wonderful thin line of glue without any excess. I purchased my tips from MayMay Made It . I just love my Art Glitter Glue
