If you add glue stick to the double sided tape it gives you a little wiggle room to adhere your papers together, a little tip I have picked up and it has saved me multiple times.
Really gorgeous, I was making some of your little chunky notebooks and wallet notebooks from your older videos while watching. Your instructions are very well done and easy to follow, thanks!
I had just made one of these using an instant potato box when i saw your video! I used the extra side of the box, across from the spine, and cut it off and glued to make the spine sturdier. Love all your tutorials!
Hi Amber, These are so fun and easy to make. Upon watching your first video, I made one that size. Then, your second video with the smaller size inspired me to use 8 x 8 paper. I LOVE the smaller size even more. I used elastic for all four I'm making. When I finally pull myself away from making these journals, I will make a video of all of them with a link to both your's and Sarah's video's. I've made several of your projects, this is the most fun of all. Pretty soon my paper stash will be gone... well not totally, but these will make a good dent in using it up. Thanks, Tricia
It would be so nice to do floral fabric for the covers and spine .. and maybe an thicker chipboard then too lol . Now I want to do this. I would totally bead my elastic and hang feathers (from my parrots) from it . So artsy and boho
i just love this book. what a wonderful gift this would make for someone. I am going to make this. so wonderful. the only thing would change is have the white journaling side on the right.
Would you consider putting the dimensions in the information portion of your clips? I love what you make but don’t like to have to dig around for paper sizes...
I love this! I use cereal boxes, macaroni boxes and all kinds of boxes when I make my journals. I don't buy chipboard so this is what I use. You should see my box "collection" now!!! All shapes and sizes. What an easy project to create! Love that you used so many papers! Love your tutorials!!! Tfs and have a great Friday! 🙂💗
This journal is so beautiful. I think it is easier using the elastic, rather than the twine. I have made several journals using this method, with the twine. Next one I will be using elastic. Thank you.
Gosh, Amber, I wish I could show you the amazing journal I just finished. I watched your tutorial and killed an 80-page paper pack. It is a work I am very proud of; thank you!!
So beautiful, my sweet Amber! Love the Papers!and love how you used a Cereal Box! And you gave me another idea! I like my notebook holders to have “wrap around” style closures to keep them more protected, and the way you cut the box before you cut the excess you weren’t using will make a perfect cheap around closure. I have to remember it to make it! Love that you are so creative and talented! I hope you and your loved ones are staying healthy, safe and doing well! Big hug and love 🤗💝
I LOVE THIS! I use my journals to write in and to add photos and ephemera. This is perfect for me! Thank you! I knew that I was saving my Cheerios box for a reason. Lol!
Awww thank you! That was always a dream of mine but for some reason, I studied business instead! 🧐 Teaching is such a passion of mine though. Thank you so much! ❤️ Amber
Since you like to make these, you might enjoy going to Tuesday Morning when they open again and look at their Italian Wrapping paper. Big sheets that are paper weight. Very beautiful designs. Also scented drawer liner paper at the same place.
My kind of journal (florals)... I had this paper pad, but I just killed it by making large coin envelopes (using the full 12x12 sheets).. I make them while watching tv.. the paper is a nice light weight, so I’m able to include several with my letters to pen pals... I bought the paper pad for 75% off..$3.75 at one of hobby lobby’s big paper studio sales...
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I was going through my paper and found a lot of thin paper. I thought I’ll bet lyric clover has something to do with this paper. Perfect timing. Thanks so much!
Love this and your channel! If you ever get a chance could you share how you organize your craft supplies? I have to use our guest bedroom and have nowhere near enough room (twin beds in there so not an empty room) and it’s overwhelming! Any tips or suggestions are appreciated!
What a beautiful book! Thank you for sharing so many wonderful projects with us🙂 I wonder if you can permanently color the elastic with distress ink or distress oxide ink. Not sure if it would absorb and keep the ink, but I think I will try it. Thank you again!
I really enjoyed the video with the paper pack The Floral Shoppe...What beautiful papers !!! I am not a mega floral crafter but loved these papers..Unfortunately I can't find this paper anywhere..eas this a recent purchase or have you had it for awhile ??? Anyway..thanks so much for sharing 💚💚
Girl I love it ! I also have a passport, pencil, pen etc.. habit! Don't feel bad😉You could also not cut off the other flap at the top and bottom. Glue them closed after cutting the box in half. Then you would have two smaller ones.
Amber, that is beautiful! Question? I’m not a fan of non lined paper, I’m a crooked writer and like lined paper. What’s your suggestion for an alternative way to be able to use lined paper?
What did you use to cut the white paper with. When I cut my paper and then fold it in half it doesn’t come out even some are shorter than others how did you do yours looking for a new way to make it look more professional. I love your binder
I legit love your content and your personality! Im glad I recently found your channel ❤💚💜💙💛 You inspire me to get up and CREATE! P.s. signed up for Skillshare using your link 😉
could you write down the measurements on the outside cover? being home with the kids makes it loud at my house and hard to hear you sometimes. I like when you write them down on the video. Thanks
Hello, my sweet friend. Once again you've created a project that I adore. Will add this to my list💓💓 I love all the florals. So pretty and girly. Hugs Lady Kre
Amber! So, i have a craft idea that I would love for you to make in your own way. I got a book at Target called Letters to my Mom and it just looked like something you could make!! I hope you are doing well!😁
Amber!! ❤️💕. You did it again 💖🎶. I love your book
You’re so sweet, Peggy! Thank you! ❤️
Oh those floral patterns look like they are fabric, vibrant & beautiful 🌹🌷🌸🌺💐
I love this!!! I see Christmas gifts for all the ladies this year!!! The paper can be chosen for each individual lady!!!!
What a great use of the one sided paper I have been hanging onto forever!! You did another great job! TFS
If you add glue stick to the double sided tape it gives you a little wiggle room to adhere your papers together, a little tip I have picked up and it has saved me multiple times.
Great tip! Thank you!
Lyric Lover Crafts you’re welcome!
Love, love, love!!!! Glad I have the weekend off!!! I know what I am making!!!

I love this!!! I think I will make a booklet for each of my favorite youtubers so I can keep notes for my favorite projects!! Thank you for sharing!
I’m planning on doing this one for myself, thank you for your clear, easy to follow instructions!

Beautiful! I’m headed to my pantry to see what kind of boxes I have. I think I’d go smaller for mine, like maybe a cracker box. Very inspiring.

Very well done, gorgeous!!
I made two maybe a month ago. I created with chipboard once I watched burnt video with the album u created
Hi. Love this. If you are using cardstock rather than paper what would you suggest for the number of sheets per book? Maybe 7?
When do you start crafting for Christmas fair because will the chocolate be good by then and is it smart to start now or wait till after summer
Yes if you start now, the chocolates will be fine. The ones in the store now, that I’ve seen, don’t expire until September 2021. ❤️
Hi Amber, which kind of paper do you use for the journal inserts? Is there a special name? I don't think I'll find it in Germany.
So beautiful 😃
Love it! TFS!
What did you use to cut the white paper with. When I cut my paper and then fold it in half it doesn’t come out even some are shorter than others how did you do yours looking for a new way to make it look more professional. I love your binder
Super cute! 💛💛💛
BEAUTIFUL! 💐🌷🌹🌺🥀🌼🌻
This is so beautiful !!!! I’m hoping to try this soon! Could you link the Etsy seller for your seam binding? Thank you! Love your videos! ❤️❤️
Just out of curiosity, how many rolls of that glue do you go through in a month?i feel like they go so fast
It just depends how much I’m crafting. But during a busy crafting month...I could use up to 4 rolls. Yikes!
Lyric Lover Crafts thanks!
Hi Amber, This is Gorgeous!!! Love your choice of Paper...Definitely will be making this Project. TFS xoxo SparklingChar Happy Crafting

Are you using plain copy paper inside each journal or one sided scrapbook paper.
Hello, my sweet friend. Once again you've created a project that I adore. Will add this to my list💓💓
