Hope they listen, their selfishness is top notch. Most of them even have feelings of self entitlement. Most of them come here on vacation and see the way we work ,yet they don’t care .Thank you Dr Apoki.

It hit home When you mentioned that those who receive our money should respect it for we work hard for it.

At a point, I told my folks back home that I had to focus on my own life & family here. If it’s real emergency like medical, yes I will send you money but for frivolous reasons, no.

    Dr.Apoki,
Much respect to you. You are definitely speaking the truth about life here in America. Speaking as an American Lady, “Money does not grow on trees.” Very well said. It is an expression that is said here in America.

I get your point Dr. But money indeed grows on trees😊. We call them cash crops. Once again, thanks for a great message.

I'm an Ethiopian American born/raised in the US and can't wait till the day i can move to Ethiopia. Nothing really that great here. Just stressful living. If you want to make money Africa is the place to be. Lots of opportunity for business there.

Thank you for this topic. There is mind boggling sense of entitlement in Nigeria towards diasporans. Sometimes I wonder if they think Nigerian diasporans have money-producing trees in their back garden. You give and give and give but the day you stop giving, they forgot the ones you have given. I have this advice to fellow diasporans:" If you are a giver, remember to learn your limits, because the takers don’t have any". If they cannot let you pull they up to your level, do not allow them to drag you down to their level. Thank you Dr Apoki for your thoughts on this.

Tax on gas in Europe is now almost 50%, plus transport fees, plus admin fees. For a gas utilisation of say €100 the total bill comes to about €220😢
That’s only gas,…add water, add electricity, add garbage, add rent, add waking up and breathing tax.

If the cost of bringing a person's corpse back to Africa becomes as low as #100,000( one hundred thousand naira only), many of those he labored and died for in Africa will not contribute as little as #1k.They will look for the next victim. Diasporians,be wise.
Thank you our very own Dr Apoki.

It's always complaints. It's naturally innate to want to help out
