Made in Guanajuato Mexico. I have several pair and love them. I for sure want to see a cut in half video. Also requesting same as other folks about a made in Mexico boots series. It would be an awesome series or video to watch. Thanks
I watched the whole video. Thanks for the post! There's people in the comments who are whining and don't know they can fast forward. No one is forcing you to watch anything lol 🤣🤣! Anyway great video! I don't mind the rambling.
It's his channel and videos. He can do whatever he wants. Don't like it? Don't watch it then. Skip ahead even. He's not changing what he's doing lol 🤣🤣!
Looked like a interesting boot with a good price so I ordered a pair. I have a pair of Whites Perry that are great, but having a decent boot that I will not be afraid of tearing up seemed like a good idea.
I've had a pair of 1st gen Dievier Nomads for over 2 years. Phenomenal. Pronounced DVA. They get the most wear; usually 3 to 4 days a week. Original sole still on there. I love the speed hooks; hate they got rid of them.
If you ever get another pair, you can find a cobbler to add them on for you! There's also cobblers on UA-cam who also do mail in orders too! Something to keep in mind for anything you may need in the future in general :)!
Possibly an amazing value. Seems like they're going for a niche of traditional high quality construction combined with easy/no break in, which is really a cool option if the quality is there. I ordered a pair on preorder a few weeks ago, hope to have them by the end of Dec. Please do a main channel review and cut these open!
Cut 'em! Cut 'em! Cut 'em! Hard to go wrong for under $200 with this much 'surface' approval. I just want a good boot that I can work on concrete while in the wood shop without breaking the bank, but worth an investment. You've made my decision difficult over the past year. I'm suffering in my hikers.
Yeah. I am interested in what's inside the boots. I would get a pair of these if there's quality components on the inside. At least on par with what you'd want in a boot under $200.
Cut those boots!! (If you haven’t already) I want to see what they are made of and I would love a true “Weston Kay” review of these things! Please and thank you!
I don't e'en know if the Moctober list is posted anywhere, but also would be helpful t' show where they drop off t' next price range on the thing. Like we know there's e'en a HUGE jump down from cost the Russell t' the Red Wing already, but then remind us where they turn into about completely useless, like if it's above or below Irish Setter or Rock Rooster...
Looking at Dievier as a brand - does anyone have any information on how ethical their pay/labor practices are? I'm interested in picking up a pair but I don't know how they're pumping out boots on par with Thursdays for $180 without mistreating workers.
Those are NICE looking boots! Not even Thursday's deliver those (claimed) materials at that price point, which makes me suspicious. Please cut them! If they are what they claim, they're Awesome!
I wanna get in touch with someone on the team to let him know about midsole issue in the Barefoot African Rangers I got a year ago. The midsole has a 2 inch wide crack at the ball of my foot on both shoes. I emailed Jim Green with no response, I'm just trying to let them know so maybe they can fix it!
After 2/3 of the video the boot is finally revealed 😂 Dude, I really like the channel and I still gave the video a thump's up, but you shouldn't overdo it. "Die Vier" is German and means "The Four".
I don't think you should cut them in half. Like many small brands, their still trying to find their place in the market. Their line is still being tuned, so the current construction and quality may yet change again as it has with the 'nomad' going from a two piece moc-toe to a single piece. Even a more established brand like Truman seems to be shifting it's spot in the market place, stating they are moving away from their more unique leather options. I think the 'punching-up' approach is less problematic because brands like Red Wing, Nike, Thorogood aren't going to crumble if you give them a bad review, but smaller brands might. Even a positive review may have a negative impact, if the brand decides to change the way they are made for the worse to maintain the same price point. I don't think any of the small brands you've mentioned are likely to do that, but the possibility still remains. Going after brands that are all marketing, have VC funding, or are in private equity makes sense too, because more often than not the profit margins are too high to deliver a quality product.
We appreciate the sincere response to this video🤘🏼From our first ever Nomad model, we have only kept improving on material and construction quality so we could stand a chance against highly funded brands. The two piece moc toe remains intact for the Nomad Gen 2 while featuring an upgraded veg tan lasting board, cushioned and leather topped removable insoles, plus the thickness of the leather upper has gone from 1.6mm to 2.0mm...while only increasing the cost by $10.00. Now, our Nomad Heritage has changed the moc toe design to a single cut piece, but with the purpose of it being more durable against hard impact or tearing, be it that our intention was to have it be an all environment and every scenario type of boot😎 with an upper of 2.6mm for the same reason🙌🏼 Cheers friend!!
That was my thought as well. It is probably Mexico. The other possibility is they do some work in US/CA but not nearly enough to meet the legal requirements to claim made in the US/CA, so they vaguely say built in North America to skirt that.
He shows the website while bsing, does a off the cuff ad read, shows us something he likes, then opens the box. Usually. What's wrong with that? Ever watch that Steve mre guy?
If this video is an example of what the 2nd Channel is about, hard pass. We trust Rose Anvil to show us consumers what is high quality and what is low quality, to help us support high quality brands and make smarter decisions with our money. Half the video is fluff/marketing and the other half leaves the audience frustrated (I want an indepth review. @1htalp9 True, although this was the first video I've seen on Rose Anvil 2, which I thought would be more like the regular channel, which I watch regularly.

why didn't you cut the pair of nomads :( !!!
Dale was just talking shit in his last vid about Wes ONLY doing videos by brands that are gona pay
I want to see these cut. If the quality kind of matches what they are advertising, this might be one of the best value boots you can buy!
We agree! We definitely want to see these cut in half👀
Agreed
I vote for a full cut up of this boot. It appears to be quality at a competitive price. Thanks for the quick review.

A whole Mexico series would be awesome!
Damn i need to see these cut. Might be my next purchase! These are gorgeous
🤘🏼
LOVE IT!! Thanks for the shoutout bro!!
Would be cool if you do a Mexican made series. Like reviewing Mexican brands made in Mexico of sneakers and boots
YESSSS
Yeah that would be awesome
Absolutely! That's a great idea!

We definitely need to see these in the line up. These are really interesting for the price. I want to see how they stack up.
Great boots! I have 3 pairs. I got the composite toe for work, all super comfortable and holding up well! Cut them in half!
Possibly an amazing value. Seems like they're going for a niche of traditional high quality construction combined with easy/no break in, which is really a cool option if the quality is there. We appreciate the support! You won't be disappointed with your purchase😎 All pre orders will be shipping out this weekend, December 21st
Thanks for the mention brother!!!
Would it be feasible to do a video on what size rose anvil boot breakers fit in each brand?
Cut 'em! Cut 'em! Cut 'em!

would love to see these cut. are there any real high quality affordable boots...
We are that affordable brand😎
Future video BLKBRD Shoemaker prhaps?
I’d like to know more about them. They look good. I’d be interested to see/hear how they age over a few months.
Bootlosophy, Stray reviews and Dales Leatherworks have done reviews on them.
Thanks. I’ll go check Bootlosophy out.
When the manufacturer shows up in the comments saying to cut them, then you have no choice!!
😎
we need this in the main channel, the pricing and material is crazy! eye catcher
Main channel for sure😎 appreciate the compliments, friend!
Please do a review of leather motorcycle boots. Been looking at Trip Machine boots, but don’t know if they’re well built. Thanks
Cut them up to see if they are good as Thursdays. Moc toes are my favorite type of boot.
🤘🏼
Hadn't seen Toast in awhile!!!😂❤
That cat is amazing looking
They've got some great looking boots. Cut em!!!
Let's get these cut!🤘🏼
Yeah. I am interested in what's inside the boots. I would get a pair of these if there's quality components on the inside. At least on par with what you'd want in a boot under $200.

Pretty sure there's only one or two other wedge boots I might e'en try in the next couple years now, so are these BETTER than the Origin ones?
Did Keen e'er get review apart from hiker models?
Looks like toast has chosen those boots to cut in half by sitting on them
The boots have been selected as the chosen ones🙌🏼🤘🏼
North America made is cool!
Please could you review boots from India-based Craft & Glory?
D-Vee-Yay
🤘🏼Appreciate the support!!
Me thinks Toaster is related to Mr. Bigglesworth.
Came here for a Toaster and moc toe boot fix, in that order.... wasn't disappointed in either. I just discovered the Toaster patch 😊
Their website says "360 degree goodyear welt construction", no doubt you will tell us if this is true in a few days.
They are. I had a pair of the Nomad gen 2 recrafted to a mini lug.
@@Urso.Irizarrymini lug? Does that mean you had them resoled
Yes boot cut man good
HAI BABY TOASTER!!!!
Hecho en mexico series would go loco
It sure would brother!🤘🏼

Guanajuato MEX it was on the home page. CUT the BAD BOY
"Handcrafted in North America (aka Mexico) " that is on their website. So it was made in Mexico.
Great work, detective. It's hardly a secret.
Those are NICE looking boots! Not even Thursday's deliver those (claimed) materials at that price point, which makes me suspicious.
Please cut them! If they are what they claim, they're Awesome!
Let's get these cut! Just to make sure👀
Moc-tober! 2025 winner!
I have just came here after watching happiness carpenter right now..👍👍
@happinesscarpenter 🤘🏼🙌🏼
Mexico is where they are made!
Accurate 🤘🏼😎

We agree!!

I see no speed hooks, I click.
Cut that one please???
We totally agree with you😎
I haven't the slightest clue either but I pronounce it Dee-Vee-Yeah
For short D.V.A. is fine for now😅 we will be making a video on pronunciation soon!
Mexico is North America, btw.
For $180?? crazy value... wish they made them in wide sizes
We do have some wide sizes available, but not all just yet! More widths will be available in 2025!
Civivi turned into a Kershaw 😅
After 2/3 of the video the boot is finally revealed 😂 Dude, I really like the channel and I still gave the video a thump's up, but you shouldn't overdo it. "Die Vier" is German and means "The Four".
Nevermind I just impulse bought 2 pairs without even knowing the sizes or materials. Fuck it.
It's the best decision you could have made! Cheers brother🤘🏼

Wait. So this video wasn't about Toaster?
You know it's gotta be Mexico. Big shift from China to Mexico for US manufacturing and if it was Canadian, it would say it.
That was my thought as well. It is probably Mexico. The other possibility is they do some work in US/CA but not nearly enough to meet the legal requirements to claim made in the US/CA, so they vaguely say built in North America to skirt that.
