You have no way of knowing if his logos are successful. Designing a logo isn't about what you or I think "looks good", it's all about the clients. This guy is like a plastic surgeon who gets his knife out and starts cutting patients without wanting to listen to why they came, how they feel about their body, or what image they want to project. It's all about what HE thinks looks cool. Real graphic design doesn't work that way.
I love this! I think for the Sunshine & Love logo, I wonder what it would look like if you replaced the ampersand with the heart, or cut the ampersand out of the heart like a stencil.

That MarioTech one is really unfortunate. You kind of killed the main idea, which is to imitate the look of a printed circuit board. But at the same time the original one was so cluttered and hard to look at/figure out what's going on, that I think there's really no saving it. Doomed if you do, doomed if you don't.
Agreed. I also noticed that the original design was supposed to be shaped as the letter "M", which wasn't really there anymore when more space between the two "peaks" of M was introduced. But then again, the remake is a lot more clean and pleasant to the eye...

Wow! This week was exceptionally good with the submissions IMO. Especially the personal logos from Fede and Gabriel. Really original and visually interesting.

Mariotech was improved but at the start it was hideous and I don't think much could improve it. When I can't tell what it is at first glance, it's frustrating. Skaps had a cool idea and your changes were great, too. Sunshine and love was much improved by removing the box. Creative design seemed too early 2000s. Simplifying it was an improvement.
I find mariotech is ok especially if you're on the technology side since it represents something its just we have different perspective on anything and please lower your ego, your not the only one here to be pleased
When you took the box off the jewelry logo, the text formed a diamond shape. I'm not sure if it was intentional but it would have been fun to see you work with that.
The one thing I don't agree with is (and he does it every time) is the space he creates between the ICON and the TYPE. He suggests giving the icons its own space. The issue with that is, is that both the type and the icon look like they are floating. They should definitely be brought close together.
I don't know if I'm seeing things, but the Gabriel Cela one looks like a cell and it's cool because "Cela" in portuguese (the language on the card) means cell. So there's a chance that he did it on purpose.
I can't be the only one who was really surprised at the big reveal that that mess that looks like a map of Australia with bones in it is a picture of a pencil.
Alex: Bad before and after kaps: should've kept the mountain one but put it as the A in the middle like the original logo noah: both bad (still no element in your logo as to what type of business this is for) but I guess improved J.E.: overall improved, good job on making the pen/cil holder less busy, should not have changed the font just changed the words to black so there would be some contrast. If your logo is more than one word it should be more than one color. julia: his is better, would have also taken away the bottom squiggle so it looks like a plane/bird/flying, maybe also would've removed all the words but that can always be done at a later stage in the business fede: bad logo, F looks like it has an R shadow, if that is what you were going for great. cela: I like it, not sure you need your name underneath
That logo and business card by Gabriel Cela was honestly one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen.

The Mariotech overhaul was fantastic, I didn't even realize it was an M until he removed the extra lines.
Really like how you changed the Skaps logo. The other designs were either too plain, or you couldn't tell they said skaps.
