Kripp shouldn't have traded his unstable ghoul during the Silverware Golem boss fight. If you have an Unstable Ghoul or an Abomination up, the ai wont attack ever.
I want to thank Kripp for that mage deck. i beat all the other heroic in one or two tries, but i was stumped on the magic mirror. i must have tried something like 20 times. I tried mill rogue (came super close once. died with mirror at 5 hp) i tried a heavy control paladin deck with very few minions. i tried a mage deck focusing on counterspells and board clear, and it wasn't enough. i didn't even consider the panda/doomsayer thing. That alone made it so much easier. one try once i saw that idea. it's 3 am. i was so tired of thinking and trying to figure out how because it was the only one i couldn't do. THANK YOU KRIPP FOR HELPING TO END THIS MADNESS.
Kripparian I love your insights and all, but there's an easy way to beat both of these decks in quite a budget way on heroic. Silverware Golem: Zoo, Trade minions aggressively, his fast card draw burns his deck insanely fast, and zoos token ability makes it possible to trade two times for certain minions. Magic Mirror: Standard ramp Druid, tentacle of Nzoth included. Nzoth and darnassus aspirint are win conditions, but wait until he playes secrets, because mirror entity and duplicate force him to play small minions, and the nzoths clutter his hand making it impossible for him to play the arcane missiles combo at the end (his main win condition). If you don't have these cards play a basic shaman, the summon ability makes it so he doesn't gain much from you, and try to include as many board clears as possible. Chess is just making sure you have double damage, and keep your pawns on the left. Don't let your bishops die or you will lose no matter what. Play 2 at once. Good Luck!
For those who wants another way for heroic, Cthun warrior for the Silverware works fine if you manage to get your 20Armor with brann/shieldbarer.And a Mill Rogue with some Dark iron skulker and explosiv sheep works pretty well against the mirror
I used priest for both my fights - against silverware golem you can let him fill his board with plates and remove the rest, use priest of the feast and some other cards to heal up and then kill him with health double+inner fire. For the magic mirror, fill his board with small minions, mass dispel to get rid of deathrattles and spell damage and same approach. Not the greatest deck, but I don't have that many cards yet and it worked out fine.
Heroic Silverware golem: ran shaman and some easy removal with the new portal and then the old 4mana 7/7 with windfury took care of the fight. Magic Mirror: patron warrior did well and using things like corrupted heal bot can help. and then chess fight was easy
I used a slightly modified OTK worgen warrior and one my first game, exhausted both our decks against silverware golem. For the mirror I used mill druid with two aspirants since he loses two mana crystals and outdraws his entire deck if you run all the draw cards
I had both new trailers for Hearthstone and warcraft in 2 different tabs, it is really funny how Kharazan and legion have totally different themes and they both appeal to almost the same gamer base.
Imagine hearthstone's Heroic mechanic, where you usually get an even playing field but on heroic it's completely tipped in the boss's favor, in other MMO's, rather than just increased stats for better loot. It's an interesting way to make a fight more mechanically challenging.

People needed to do that to win on Heroic? I just played a normal control game and won the first time through. You don't exactly struggle with cards or mana that much with both the Hero power and the insane mana reduction/ramp cards.
Heroic mirror is easy. You just cheese him by giving him a bunch of minions that can't attack (i.e. argent watcher, eerie statue) and fatigue him because he draws like a mofo.
used "cannot attack" minions to fill the heroic mirror boss's board then used the minion that silences your minions (wailing something i cant remember the name. looks like a blue grim reaper) then went all face. this was a priest deck and all i did was control the board with removal and converts and silences, etc. worked really well. long game though. went late into fatigue thx to his spells.
Magic Mirror was really easy for me. I used druid with zombie chow, death lord, corrupted healbot, dancing swords, and most importantly darnassus aspirant. You can REALLY kill his curve using darnassus aspirant.
I got superlucky in the Malchezaar fight. On the "summon a random legendary minion" card i drew Prophet Velen, popped the +5 spell damage card and hit him with 22 hp fireballs.
the mirror boss was driving me nuts on heroic until i realized it had no hard removal so i swapped to a wombo combo priest and won on my very first try with a 14/14 zombie chow
I used a lot of disspells against silverware golem with priest. massdisspell for example against a full board of buffed plates :) with some innerfire and divine spirit combos
It took me so long to beat the Mirror. I actually managed it with Priest and Excavated Evil. I used mine, he got one, he had +8 Spell Damage on the field, and he used it. It cleared the board, and he couldn't build back up after that.

I beat heroic Mirror using a modified mill druid, the "Deathrattle: draw a card" is just unfair and combo-ing with Cult master is brutal, mix in Natrualize and Brann + oracle and GG
For me, Heroic Malchazaar, I won on turn 4. I got a 7 drop legendary minion turn 2, turn three effigy, turn 4 effigy had given me archmage antinidas, which I then made all my spells cost zero and add 5 spell damage. I casted on pyro blast and 9 fireballs...Then my GAME CRASHED.

Someone found out that Explosive Sheep, Unstable Ghoul and Abomination break heroic silverware golem, they won't attack and clear its own board so you can just attack freely and fatigue it.
It makes me so mad how Kripp misplayed so much in the Chess section but still won cause he got so damn lucky, took me like an hour to beat that shit man.
You were really, really lucky in the chess. I have played that level a thousand times in heroic (for fun, I love it) and 70% of the time each of you errorS (or suboptimal movements, you can call them as you wish) would have cost you the match. But anyway, luck is basic in this game, I can't blame you for being lucky. You took full advantage of your good luck, that is one of the marks of good players.
Another easy strategy to use for Heroic Mirror is to use priest with useless minions. Use all the minions that can't attack like argent watcher, argent watchman, eerie statue, and fill his board with useless 1/1s that cant even attack. Once his board is full you can summon actual minions, or silence your eerie statues to win. ezpz
For Heroic Mirror you got to play Silence Priest :d Giving him some shit he can't attack with (eerie statue, argent watchman, etc) and then it's an easy win

This adventure is absolutely stellar so far. Loved the prologue, replayable as hell, even on heroic. Chess is Amazing.

Magic Mirror is a breeze with an adjusted version of Token Druid, to be honest. Probably the easiest of the three Parlor Heroics...
