Awesome deck, had great success from rank 19 to rank 13 almost straight wins back to back.. Swapped Ragnaros Firelord to that new 6 mana Warden druid card that can copy any Beast (in the best scenario a beast thats been buffed by Mark of Yshaarj). Also added in Nourish for something that I cant be arsed to check.
ive been finding the arcane giant quite good but only in decks that run yog or with at least 15+ spells but if your running that many, yog is an auto include. the funnel cake/resurrect priest deck works well with the giants too
is it worth it to craft yogg for a fairly old mostly F2P account? It seems like its in every deck. Or should i craft epic staples (shieldslam, etc) from the classic set as they will over time see more use? I can see the argument both ways: more usage over time via crafting classic as it never rotates out (but potentially opening them naturally reducing its crafting value) vs crafting expansions (harder to get but only valid for 2 years unless wild). And also crafting legends (nearly impossible to get specific ones without whaling) vs crafting epics (easier to get than legendaries, but at 4:1 ratio will get you more bang for your buck immediately). Thoughts? For reference I have most rares, a lot of epics and some legendaries, notably all n'zoth favorites.
Arcane Giant is already used in a tournament level druid deck, except it is a lot faster. Why would you not put Fandral and Violet Teacher in a spell/choice heavy druid deck? Rogue's deck also seems similar to Savjz's mill deck (except for the Shadowcaster).
I must say, I tought this expansion looked pretty disapointing, I really underestimated the impact Barnes, the giants, priest of the feast and so on would have on the meta, things like trap hunter, yogg priest and yogg druid coming dangerously close to the top tier make me fel good about the future of Hearthstone. :^)
I am legit confused what Druid of the Flame is doing in this deck. I mean, it's nothing but a kind-of solid 3-drop. Wouldn't Harvest Golem have basically the same effect when played (situationally sometimes a little bit better, sometimes a little bit worse), but have WAY better synergy with the deck, what with Barnes and N'Zoth being in there?
With Barnes it's just a worse yeti like 65% of the time. Wouldn't fandral just be better since that hits 7 cards every time instead of hitting 6 some of the time?
Moat monster already is viable if you don't look at it as a enemy minion removal only card. You can moat monster your own slyvanas or a number of other death rattle cards for value.
Does Kripp ever play traditional archetypes? I don't doubt that he'd be good at it and I appreciate players like him and Day9 who like to noodle around with cool decks, but it would also be fun to see him play something like Malygos/Combo Rogue or Freeze Mage.
Man, Kripp...I know it may be considered BM since you had lethal, but couldn't you have drawn out the mill rogue match a bit longer? It's not often that you face a deck so fun that you're more excited for your opponent's turn than for your own.
I think Kripp should play more standard it seems to be less salt inducing for him and he has more fun. He could maybe do like a subscribers "deck of the week" or something.
I tried this deck on ladder... about rank 10 and well its really bad. I always seem to have those giants in my hand and no way to make them cheaper. I also seem to be losing to aggro shaman easily as well. Just seems too slow with no way to survive...
Yeah I could make a yogg giants druid deck. I already made a yogg mage giants deck and it did ok till I was countered hard for 3 matches straight. I like the idea of a second win condition, but when I made Cthun Yogg druid deck...I never drew either.

Not so much. You've gotta get there to win and with no nourish it would be hard to get there against any aggressive or midrange deck piloted by a good player.

he made it too greedy, take out some of the bigger minions (Def nzoth and rag), take out Barnes and put in some other stuff like some violet teachers
