I had 8 health left and he had a full board of plates, he attacked my face with all the plates then played the card that buffed the attack of all plates
Yep... same happened to me. He attacked with all his 1/1 plates... THEN dropped 3 minions which buffed the attack of his plates... I facepalmed, then won the match I should of lost :)

Given the AI in the tutorial is actually better than this, it is pretty hard to justify.
+tygonmaster air in tutorial is staged , every card you and the ai draws are on purpose in the tutorial , but in adventures they are not , and the it would be impossible to win against the silver ware golem when all of his plates have 7 attack and charge

Hey guys how's it going Kripparrian here. So, Karazhan is finally out and, well, it's pretty good. But as always with Hearthstone adventures, there are going to be times where the AI is REALLY well, lets just say, not so good. So, anyway, enjoy some clips of faulty AI from my first night in Karazhan, hope you guys enjoy the clips, and I'll see you guys tomorrow.
The fireballs in the first clip made me think of Hearthstone skeet shooting XD

I would say the opposite kripp, the AI is worse than ever. The prime example of this is the priest challenge mode.
The deck is abysmal. Theres no synergy aside from Blizz trying to make purify seem good. Theres barely any answers for the first 5 turns against the zoolike deck that silverware golem plays. In spite of this, I won. Why? Because every single move the AI could have done it did wrong. It would literally attack my face and then play buffs on its cards, when it easily had fatal more than a few times if it played properly.
I only won because it drew itself out insanely fast and fatigued. I had only just enough control not to lose. I only won because the AI was terrible.
The older ones were challenging, in part due to more threatening challenges but more importantly because the AI was stronger. Or maybe their plays were more simple. Either way, the AI isnt designed well at all.
I understand that, but you got to understand that if the AI was programmed to do the best plays, the Silverware Golem will be too difficult to actually go against. For Example, they would easily kill you turn 5-6 with 4-1 plates with charge.

yeah but every other challenge mode the decks have been both fun and still competitive, so the game can still be a good one. They could have made purify seem fun without adding in craptons of useless cards and cards which have no synergy, such as prophet velen and escalated evil, or onyx bishop and fuck all in terms of low drops.
Most of the AI stupidity I noticed there was attacking cards that couldn't actually attack yet.
i don't agree. In the past all class challenges have been a walk in the park. Instead of having to think of a deck and using the cards you have, you get a deck that is exploiting tailored to exploit the weaknesses of the bosses. I cleared all class challenges first try, or in some cases two tries. The priest challenge here annoyed me a lot because of the lack of answers, but at least it was hard. Took 5 tries to win.

Very painfully agreed. I don't know what was cringier. How much the silverware golem's AI sucked, or how bad the deck blizzard made trying to sell us into purify was.
Maybe it was intentional cause even masters couldn't win with priest?

Here's something hillarious I've found:
If the Inn Keeper has a Pandaren Brewmaster in his hand, and one in the field, he will continually switch them out, spending all his mana just to keep rotating them.
I once watched him spend two 10 mana turns doing nothing but "Drink with me, friend!"
at 13:14, the mirror suddenly prioritized killing the Zombie Chow so it could heal itself, I don't think it even realized how it was freeing up board space.

Toast tried infinite times to get Archmage Antonidas from Astral Portal but he failed. Krip didn't try to get Archmage Antonidas from Astral Portal but he did it. Calculate the area of Toast's psychological shadow when he watches this video.

If you want definitive proof that the older adventures were harder, go back and do all the class challenges (tip: if you have yet to get all the cards out of all of them, disenchant the ones you'll get as rewards so you get them again - it's not much but it's free dust.)
Disguised toast probably has to rename himself to disgusted toast now.
On the Mirror boss, I combo'd like 4 massive Van Cleef's because Xaril gave me two shadow steps and I had one in my hand. The biggest Van Cleef I had was like 24/24 so I insta-won
The AI still sometimes randomly destroys / silences their own minions for no reason, I saw it a few times now during the adventure and also Stormwind Tavern Brawl. Stormwind even fell for the old Kel'Thuzad + Taunt trick. "Slight improvements"...
In the prologue the AI used a shadowbolt on their own minion. And on the golem fight he killed himself by attacking one of my minions with a spoon

When I was a beginner I played against the rouge AI, it summoned the 2/4 thing that spawns a 2/1mechanical dragon, after it the AI backstabbed the dragon
Leper Gnome + Argus Protector breaks the wolf, for some reason. He just wouldn't attack the Taunting Gnome.
Remember when Toast was trying to get Archmage from the portal and ended up getting it from effigy? And then Kripp gets it instantly?
Seriously, how is Blizzard's AI *this* bad? I'm used to bad AI, but this is beyond even Dennis levels of play.
This is Hearthstone get used to it... The shittiest game Blizzard will prob ever come up with . Treat the game as a left-over, a throw-away, straight up garbage. The developers don t give a fuck about it and try to invest as little time as possible to maximize their filthy profit

No idea, but I was doing the Silverware Golem Heroic fight yesterday and for some reason it absolutely refuses to attack Abominations, so I basically won the fight by just playing that card.

i did the same thing with rogue but used silient whatcher, erie statue and that card that cant atack unless you attack along with spells/minions that give you your minions back, much more relieble
the idea of kripp's deck was filling the opponent's board with as many 0/x minions as possible by silencing them.
Yours is not quite the same thing, the opponent is going to at least have 1/1s and god forbid you trying to silence his 1/1 eerie statue, heh.
