You could make them using pipe cleaners to attach the garland instead of hot glue so that it'd be stupid simple to take apart and store. Or just peel the garland and bow off, throw away anything that gets ruined. Make new, next year if need be? Or you could also make it so that you make each side separately. Then you just attach them with pipe cleaners at the sides and they could be used over and over.
Another alternative that could be even cheaper would be wrapping the garland around a regular cardboard box, even incorporating some lights within the garland and add the bow. Would look similar and you could make all different sizes if you have boxes lying around. Just a thought!!
@@cvzdez I personally wouldn't put a cardboard box outside, no. And I also wouldn't put the one in the video outside either. I don't see garland and ribbon lasting long outdoors, even the wreath forms could rust eventually. Definitely seems like more of an inside decoration to me or maybe a covered porch.
GREAT JOB 👍 Lexie!! It is great. If you display this on the front lawn, you could put lights on the inside to illuminate it! It is great! Love your bow!
@@MsTifalicious love it !!!! You see a lot of these DIYs but this really is quite beautiful. Just the way that it is I hope my comment didn't come off any other way besides positive cuz it is the way I meant it. But love that idea too.
What was the total cost? I always do these cheap diy's and it turns into being 3 times the cost of just buying it. And 3 days lf my life back 🤣 I do love diy's though
For someone like me who already has a hot glue gun, zip ties, and ribbon, probably about $10 for the 5 wreath things and the garlands, but definitely more if you still need a glue gun/glue, ribbon, and zip ties
I was just going through my metal forms and have a BUNCH of these square ones and thought "what the eff am I going to do with these?!?" Thank you! Awesome idea!
Beautiful defo have to try this all your beautiful tips will save me a fortune because I love sparkle and bling this is defo on my Christmas Dec's bucket list thanx so much for your stunning clips ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I would try making it without the top form and see if the tension from the wrapping would be enough to stand it up w for the short decorative season. Then when you aren't using it you could collapse it for storage
I love how you made the bow. I would suggest putting yard stakes to hold it down if putting it in yard. With our winds, I could see mine going off into my neighbors. I love the pretend present idea with light.
I was thinking about making it a functional display by adding lights to just where you can see and also the ability to open a door and put other things inside like ornaments or something like that. Its a great idea.
I love these my sister showed me this video. so I made my own. I wrapped my box with mesh. I will do some with tinsel too. as for people saying a cardboard box is free.. yeah true.. for inside use...BUT for outside people don't think if your in an area that rains and snows for Christmas. what happens to cardboard when it gets wet?... it will eventually fall apart. so spending 1.25×5 is going to be cheaper in the long run so you don't have to make these every year. I have 3 done already. I plan on making about 20 of these for my display. and will be stacking some also!! so excited!
REALLY CUTE!!! I THINK I AM GONNA MAKE A COUPLE OF THESE WITH MY DAUGHTER THIS YEAR. SHE ENJOYS DIYs. IT WILL GIVE US SOME GOOD QUALITY HOLIDAY TIME TOGETHER!!! THANKX!!!
That's so cute,,you can add lights,,and making these would make a good small business becz these can sell over 100$ at places like Lowes and Home Depot 😊
So cute but I always think about where the heck do I store these big crafts when not using 😂
Toss them in a trash bag and put them in the garage.
In the attic
really jice. but dollar tree also have battery operated lights you could have add also

Take it apart n store it

Honestly, great idea. Thank you!
I really like your idea & yes a cheaper way to do it.Thanks for the tip😊 MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄🎁
For outdoor?
@@cvzdez I personally wouldn't put a cardboard box outside, no. And I also wouldn't put the one in the video outside either. It’s a great idea For indoor use only . Thanks.
GREAT JOB 👍 Lexie!! It is great. If you display this on the front lawn, you could put lights on the inside to illuminate it! It is great! Love your bow!
Exactly my thought
I thought that's what she was going to do. I was waiting for the light part...lol
I would love to do that I’m just wondering will someone steal them lol
That's super cute. As soon as you started wrapping the bottom, I wanted it to be a little light up wonderland diorama.
That would also make a cute cover for a present when you want an easy reveal, like for a presentation.
Great idea!!! What if smaller presents were wrapped and attacked inside?
YES! BEST IDEA!
That is the most AWESOME dollar tree 🌳 DIY ever! Love this!!! 🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️🙋🏻♂️👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Put blinking lights on the inside of the box cute!😊😁🙃

I was going to say the same thing!!
Not battery powered, better to put outside with outside lights, around a group of these
@@MsTifalicious love it !!!!

I was thinking the same thing
Was just going to post that lol
You’re a hoot. Very entertaining and fun to watch you purposefully attack any project fearlessly with great success.

What was the total cost? I always do these cheap diy's and it turns into being 3 times the cost of just buying it. And 3 days lf my life back 🤣 I do love diy's though
Agreed
This was expensive lol for sure
Fr My same thoughts

Wow! That’s really cute. Clever idea
That's cute! Imma make it and add fairy lights!
Lexi it’s beautiful. If they had those wire things in different sizes you could make three different sizes and set them on the hearth.
you actually can cut the layers of frames
You give me a idea. This is also to do with a box. Thanks for that.
Or maybe lights??
Gonna use it to wrap my Christmas tree stand! 🤩🤩🤩
People seem to think I can do all that creative stuff... But I can't. I'm not that creative. Lexi, everything you do is perfect! You are awesome!

Wondering how that will hold up outside… looks super cute!
Omg I need to make this with either thick jute or rope!
Oh my gosh! Why are you so genius!? I love this! Incredible!
Girl a empty box would have been cheaper. By 5 dollars.
Solar lights would be cute. I actually have Christmas decorations for the yard made kind of like that but they light up.
THAT IS ABORABLEA!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Strings of seed lights would look incredible. Cute idea!!

It’s very creative and beautiful…just an idea try the battery lights wrapped around the wiring so when finished the present lights up
I love how you made the bow. I would suggest putting yard stakes to hold it down if putting it in yard. With our winds, I could see mine going off into my neighbors. I love the pretend present idea with light.
So beautiful and creative!!😍😍
So beautiful and creative!!
A cute little pop and stick light would be ADORABLE on the inside!!! I’m definitely gonna make these but with a twist! Tfs!
I was thinking about making it a functional display by adding lights to just where you can see and also the ability to open a door and put other things inside like ornaments or something like that. Its a great idea.
Awesome. I would add lights inside. U can cut them down to store after Xmas by cutting the zip ties on two ends
Cardboard boxes work great, cause we all got that around.
Thank you!! I'm make today for my porch.
How much did it wind up costing you? Can you share how many packs of garland it took?
Very cool, love it. Great job
