Thank you "UA-cam Gods" for recommending... My father passed away in February (the hardest thing I have ever dealt with). He (and I) love jam bands like this- he adored all music really.. I can't help but feel like he "sent" their music to me. Best thing that's happened to me in a while. (seriously). ♥️
My Dad was like that too. I grew up with a guitar playing in the background. Soundtrack to my life. Lol Every time I see a hawk in the sky, that's my Dad saying Hi. It's been 9 years now. God, I miss that man.
@@wigit2510 Same here . I had to literally fight my cousins for his a acoustic epiphone... That thing is older than me.. Anyway, they never had a chance.. I told them they could play it when they visit!!I 😉👍
I love this band...lost my wife at 26 years old. We had a wonderful daughter that her and I listen to this great music together and now that she's 10 we reminisce about the wonderful person we lost. Thank you
just sayin'....anyone who doesn't get this song....needs to live a little. thx NR and the night sweats. ya helped me though some hard times and helped me get my music better. all respect.
These guys are the real thing. What a musical breath of fresh air. They don't make 'em like this anymore. Thank you Nathaniel Rateliff, Joseph Pope III, Mark Shusterman, Patrick Meese, Luke Mossman, Wesley Watkins , and Andy Wild. Great, honest music that is truly timeless.
My dad liked this song alot he past almost 4 years this Algust. So played at is funeral an almost completely you could feel he was right there with me an my mother as we where together an then she went to be with him 5 month, s latte from brokein heart after 49 years of staying together. Miss them so much I put them side by side like they was for 49 years. Love you mom dad
Wow I say,, this song I feel in love with, then my mom passed, so there's another one for her. This guy is my new James Taylor, whose been my life long. Blessings to you sister
❤ Big Hug I would be so honored if one of my children spoke such fond words of me when I leave this earth , as you have of your parents…. They obviously done a good job raising you dearest 😊
Its hard not to get emotional when you hear a sound that is so timeless and rewarding. The music these guys generate is real passion incarnate and we are lucky they are willing to share with us, a journey, we are all so familiar with; especially, in the a state of perpetual unoriginality, that the industry is today. I am an artist and a music lover and I kind of like the idea that, for as good as they are, they are underrated. It makes me feel like they are hidden away and saved for people with a special connection to emotional expression of sound. Please guys, don't ever change, and don't ever reach for demand, the music you guys make is perfect, and if you stopped for any reason we have been given more than enough. Thank you Thank you Thank you
This song always brings a tear to my eye, remembering a friendship made in highschool that lasted into adulthood...but the friend made a decision that could be said as... providing a permanent solution to a temporary problem and isn't around any more because of it. I miss you Ed. Wish you were still here.
I bought the cd after i listened to one song on the radio, i was blown away immediatly, there is not ONE bad song on the cd. They are amazing, best band since the sixties! Howling at nothing is another amazing song btw :D
Five years old comment but I just wanted to say this is one of the best albums of all time in my book. As you said, all the songs are great. Timeless album
I lost it when I seen him on the luggage belt. The road has made me feel this way 1000 times lmao. Thanks for bringing rock back fellas. Lets play yah one more time for the brother and sisters lost in the reality of the hustle. Think of all the time, time, time, ...
Love you guys and so grateful to the friend who turned me on to you! S.O.B. is my all time favorite--so far--in fact, I'll be singing it in karaoke! ;-) Anyway, I've loved everything you've done; your energy and the sense of humor in your videos is incredible...you guys shine! (Oh, and I appreciate how you put the lyrics in your videos.)
Nathaniel has such a great smile that seems to reach up into his eyes and they all look to be very close friends (at least that's what I see from the videos) and as much as I LOVE their music, that close relationship makes them more endearing to me...because they seem to truly love what they do and each other and that they are all having FUN doing it. I LOVE this band!!
Your music is the equivalent of BBQ ribs and cornbread topped with Jalapeno poppers and a good cup of coffee. It sticks to your ribs and makes you notice all the flavors and the people you're eating with; it makes you feel ready to feel the rest of the day.
My dad introduced me to this band years ago, and the first song I heard was SOB, which naturally I enjoyed a great deal. I started listening to more songs and this is just a great band that keeps the soul of music well alive. Unlike the trash of the majority of todays general pop music, this is real, pure, goodness. Keep up the amazing work you guys! Btw, this song got me through a really tough time this year and gave a whole new meaning to me. I had heard it before but listening to it that time, it was like a whole new song. I love it and you rock.
Far and away my favorite song on the new record. And the boys perform this song with genuine gratitude for the success of the new record and the folks that helped it become successful (at least such was my experience when they played it at a sold out show in Salt Lake City earlier this year). Great artist, great song, great album.
I was pedaling my way through 30 minutes of mind numbing cardio at planet fitness when I came across these magnificent guys on one of the many televisions in the place. What can I say; they are a wonderful breath of fresh and untainted air in an industry that seems only capable of producing the same drab cookie cutter artists that have made up the music world for the past 20 years. I immediately downloaded their album on ITunes when I got home. But if I absolutely had to same anything about this band it is this: I would happily let my children listen to them while riding in the car or lounging at home. And this is much more than I can say for most of the crap that is poisoning the radio waves today. Just my opinion, I could be wrong.
Sometimes I hit the music shop and buy something I have never heard of. Sometimes it's a failure and waste of money. I did this with this band. From the first two chords, I was not disappointed.
Just a gorgeous song. This iis the first time I'm hearing it, on Thanksgiving 2017I'm thankful for this song, and heading to my guitarist' house- where we will learn this. Thank You, Nathaniel for an outstanding piece of work
What an amazing and chill number! It feels kind of relaxing. Also some nice lyrics: 'Think of all the hours I spent in constant reflection Well it gets you down but it don’t make it right'
I need to see them live! I listen to their cd often! I'm so glad jimmy Fallon had them on his show! I immediately bought their cd and actually loved every song!
Damn, can't wait to see you at SPAC in Saratoga this summer and again at Shelburne a week later. Kings of Leon is headlining at SPAC..... another great band but coming to see you, should be epic!
Love the song, the video, the band. The intro to this one always makes me think of The Band's version of The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down (and yeah, I'm that old).
Can hear a lot of influence of THE BAND in their music, especially this song heard a live recording of Nathaniel and group at the end of I think it was S O B They broke right into " THE SHAPE IM IN " by THE BAND , good stuff
Love love love this band. They sound like so many of the old greats. This tune reminds me so so much of These Days -Jackson Browne. A wonderful band, songwriters and singers
Ok,,I am coming to find you all haha...going to find a concert listing...I so want to dance the night away to your songs ...Love all of them....love love love hahaha

I agree Commodore Sixfour. That's where the internet is taking the lead in bringing the good music to the front. It's a whole lot easier to find good stuff these days.
i was feeling home sick for Colorado. miss it dearly. this song kept bringing me back. and then at the end finished on the main stage in Telluride. My home, away from home.

Also try Most of All, BRANDI CARLISLE.... It makes me sad but it reminds me that they are always there, still listening with me

I love this band. You make me happy. Music is back... I have hope again.
This song makes me reflect. I had my high school graduation ceremony at Red Rocks in 1995. Time has flown.
Love that they are at Red Rocks! Birthplace of many a great band!!
I don't think any bands were formed on that stage.
perhaps you mean many great band's live acts were forged on that stage?
It's my birthday and this song is the best . Time dragging behind and thinking about the future. Thanks . Love Love the band . Safe travels.
The sound this band makes is un-worldly!
It’s far and few that are able to make magic like you guys Really enjoying the talent. Thanks
Absolutely loving this band! Great stuff, proper music, fabulous voices. Love it!

LYRICS:
Think of all the time time time
You get to know it
Think about the world I found spinning awry
Remember all the clothes I wore to hide it from you
You said let's take the long walk home tonight
Think of all the falling down and hiding under
Think of all the time time time time time
Think of all the hours I spent in constant reflection
Well it gets you down but, it don't make it right
I made it my personal intervention
What a waste of time time time time time
I got a feeling I, I can't get over
Maybe all we had has always been right
Think of all the love you gain when you send it over
Think of all the wool I've spun to be here tonight
Think of all the time time time time time
Think of all the time time time time time
Thanks!
I love this band and nathan, 1st time seeing this video right away i been there 4-5 times Red Rocks~ Cool song! Thanks

Best compliment possible and very true. Which band he says. Lol
My thoughts exactly. Sounds very much like 'The Weight'. And something else I can't quite call to mind.
What a sweet song. Makes you feel good just watching and listening. Can't wait to see the band at the wonderful Fox Theater in Oakland in August...
this song got me through some shit this year thnks mate happy new year
An incredible band among all the garbage we have these days! Thanks Fella's
♥
I disagree, there is a hell of a lot of good music today. Problem is only the garbage gets radio play or good songs are overplayed.
+Phil Davis so true.
