S.O.B. was what we first all heard, I think, and feel in love with. But I think, much as I like that one, this song is the better song. I absolutely love it. Patrick cracks me up. He's a weird dude, but in a very amusing way. I love how much is happening in this video, you see something new every time you watch it. Lastly? Fantastic old person makeup! It is my understanding that good/believable old person makeup is actually a really hard thing to pull off, so I think that is something that needs a shout out.
This Song and the Singer and everything is definitely underrated! I Heard it for the first Time today and it deserves a lot more popularity! Its awesome!!

The cover band I sing in does this song and we all love it. It's every bit as much fun to sing as the video is to watch. It's not often that you find a vocal that you can just blast out like that. Every rehearsal there are three or four songs we have to play even if they don't need work. This is probably at the top of the list right now. An absolute adrenalin rush every time. I just wish I could find a fish bowl big enough to wear on my head when I'm on stage. The audience probably wouldn't know what the hell I was doing but the band would and that would make all the strange looks worthwhile.
What a fun band. I karaoke SOB and it brings the house down every time. You guys have provided a lot of fun for a lot of people. Keep it going, PLEASE.
I found this done a few years ago while drinking a few beers laying in the sun in my backyard! I had to get up and groove to the beat! Loved it ever since .okay it over and over and over..it's true, it never gets old ..my daughter..she is 8 knows all the words and jams out with me! Thank u for this masterpiece!
These guys rock! Nathaniel's vocals give me chills. I wouldn't insult him by saying "oh, he sounds just like this guy or that" but Sam Cooke must be looking down at him with a fucking big grin on his face. Real music!
I thought of Cat Stevens, I don't know the name he goes by now. Not so much in style, but vocal quality. Kind of like how Zac Brown sounds like James Taylor.
I love this song too much. Been listening to this song for 6 years. From poverty, through community school, getting clean, getting a beautiful woman in my arms, loosing her. Now im in my own apartment, fully educated, new town and new friends. This song has been my theme song!
After almost 30 years of construction and bar fights and a motorcycle wreck I need this song sometimes. Its all going to start to hurt after 40 gents so get tough.
I've watched this video a billion times, and I just noticed how worn Joe's bass is. Must be his fave. Also, I love Wes mean mugging in the background at 0:50!

A pretty nice evolution of Booker T's Time is tight! I think great music is when talented people take inspiration from other talented people and create something completely new! Saying that its new doesnt mean it doesnt came from somewhere before. All ideas come from somewhere, but its what you make of it that determines if it holds value or not

I played this in my 1953 Willy’s jeep with our modern sound system I put in, love the old car, but gotta have this masterpiece playing, and just driving through our bright downtown area at night when all the lights are on everywhere, but it’s completely quiet and no one’s out, it’s such trip.
This is one of the best songs and music videos of all time
I listened to it on the radio, and was like "..what? An amazing song from the 60's or 70's I don't know about??" Tipping my hat to a band that makes REAL music again! This song just wants to make me dance.
Elvis never had a song called "Caught on a Trap". The song is called "Suspicious Lies". But, now that you mention it, the two songs do have a similar energy.
Suspicious MINDS
i was thinkin the exact same thing.. just heard at the grocery store thought was some old tune i never heard..i shazamed it on my phone..its an app that looks up songs....surprised me that it wasnt an old song..lol
This song is my happy pill every day!
👍
They played this summer 25 minutes away from where I live, at a festival called Latitude (someday, all festivals will be this way, check it out) but as usual locals can't get tickets and I couldn't go anyway but it's the principal of the thing! ? Peace and have a bop around for me. Say, "this one's for Dawn" ok? Thanks, x
i saw them at the project Pabst festival in portland. it was lit af
S.O.B is my happy pill
Donna White John Prine
I knew this song back in 2017, the period when my life was upside fuc**** down, it lifted me up everytime I played it, i could imagine standing up and singing it, happily and lively......all i want now, is to hear an amapiano mix of this, then I will die a happy man.
Here in Belgium it's a big hit! It's on the 4th place of the top 50 recent hits! So everyday I hear this at work, the atmosphere is just amazing :D
belgium rules wooo
At least after half a year it was picked up by the radio stations...in the meantime, I think, number 3

Absolutely a burst of ebuliant personal truth. May sound corny but I'm an Alaskan chic and was a prodessional blues vocalist of 15 years ... this made me want to SING again for The first time in nearly a decade!
Dont let life stop you from doing what you love.
Than start singing today!
C'mon! Cut Loose.....the New Year is a great starting date/ spot.

If you want to sing out, sing out! And if you want to be free, be free.
This is one of the most imaginative videos I've ever seen. And a great, great band.
Bret Fisher kinda stolen from walk hard...
@@dannygilmore6399 who stole it from The Beach Boys.... ua-cam.com/video/ab0XtD7nnew/v-deo.html
He's mimicking/imitating Brian Wilson.
2/20/23! Where have I been! I just discovered these guys a few days ago!
Love Love Love it! I’ve probably listened to this cut a hundred times, often it makes my eyes leak. 66 and I NEED NEVER GET OLD! I love their energy!

Sorry for you loss hope u can jam out to this song and ur brother can live happily ever after
Sorry for your loss. I lost my brother 12 years ago, almost to the day. He was a hell of a musician, spectacular bass player and I know he would’ve dug these guys.
Turned 65 yesterday. Thanks for this song - needed it!
Jack Schneider 34 so half way there 😊
Jack Schneider Age makes you appreciate music more! Believe me!! We’ll never get old with good music 😉
Happy Belated birthday!
Jack Schneider happy unbirthday
Hey I am 44, only half way to the next birthday and I needed it too!
Nate and Joe... the core of this amazing group. Great sense of humor. Good ole guys from Denver.
What a fantastic song!! It brings tears to my eyes from pure joy!
S.O.B. was what we first all heard, I think, and feel in love with.
So hard to figure out which one I like better. They are both great.
Makes me feel like dancing!
i think hes awesome
Nonya Bizz edüüd
100th like there you go buddy 😎
Kick ass old school music filled with soul! Absolutely love this band!
Every time I listen to this song and watch the video..... I'm nothing but smiles. Luv u guys for that ❤️
This Song and the Singer and everything is definitely underrated! I Heard it for the first Time today and it deserves a lot more popularity! Its awesome!!
You’ll love The Dead South then
I can listen to this song on repeat and never get old of it.
j'adore.... c'est plein de douce folie... de délire décalé... ce type à un talent phénoménal.... et ce son est incomparable... il est entré par toutes les entrées de ma tête... Merci
Yep... after four replays this just hit my permanent list of songs I like and can listen to repeatedly. 9 years after it came out (via the comments), but never gonna get old! (ps. I've sung with my head in a bucket... I get it so much... and MORE COWBELL! lol)
Heard this on the radio and this is my mantra to life…. I’m 61 going on 21 🕺🏽🎶💃🏽
They are so perfect I thought this was a television type show.
Perfect group of fellas and excellent concepts, music, makeup - humor.
Love it.
i have this album on vinyl, and after 2 years of owning it it hasn’t failed once to bring the good vibes
Just saw them in concert in Austin last night. This song kills it live.
Thank u for this masterpiece!
no mattetr how many timers I listen to this song ! It never grows old! Always stay young at heart, humble and kind!
These guys rock! Nathaniel's vocals give me chills. I wouldn't insult him by saying "oh, he sounds just like this guy or that" but Sam Cooke must be looking down at him with a fucking big grin on his face. Real music!
sugar
Yeah, Sam Cooke style with a blend of St. Paul and The Broken Bones too!
Love the energy in the song. Like a bonfire of kites on a summer evening.
Darren Ross a little Sam Cooke, a bit of Elvis, a dash Cash. . . the creativity and quirkiness of early Beatles.
I'm hearing some Van Morrison and Jim Croce in there too, but he puts his own spice on it. Love this band, period!
I thought of Cat Stevens, I don't know the name he goes by now. Not so much in style, but vocal quality. Kind of like how Zac Brown sounds like James Taylor.
It's times like this that I need to be able to like a video more than once UA-cam!
The most elegant "flipping the bird" I've ever seen. And such a wonderful, wonderful, fun song
This band's music makes me feel ike there's a reason to keep living.
I have been playing this in Western Australia for a few months....love it
I've watched this video a billion times, and I just noticed how worn Joe's bass is. Must be his fave. Also, I love Wes mean mugging in the background at 0:50!
And I thought S.O.B. was infectious, now this song has me hooked.
My favorite Nathaniel R song right here. Makes me want to dance every time.
This video is my favorite and this band just plain kicks ass!! Getting the vinyls for sure.
This song never fails to put me in a great mood!
wonderful,at 61 i rarely get excited by anything ,but wow!
My father-in-law's the same way, hard to find music that stands up to the oldies
One thing I absolutely love about this band is that they always seem to be giving it their all no matter what they're doing.
Paid rip off style "trying their best" , Try Zone Theory.
I can’t get enough of this song. It says it all so perfectly
This is some of the best music I've heard in decades. Holy crap
I just CAN'T stop watching this video over and over again...It never get old!
Absolutely fantastic and self deprecating in the best way, it looks like they had a blast making this video.
And of course another soul romping banger from the boys.
👊👊👍👍✌️✌️
Went to see them play live at the Barrowlands in Glasgow last night. They are SO flippin amazing, got to be up there as one of my top gigs ever and they absolutely blew the roof off when they played this. The crowd went WILD. Thank you Nathainel, thank you Night Sweats, What a crackin night.
Love this band - this music is TIMELESS - first time I heard it I knew that I will very likely be loving it just as much in years from now as I do now
This man is amazing!! His music makes my soul smile 😊
These guys make me happy every time I hear them. The guys a mitosis of Elvis and Otis
A pretty nice evolution of Booker T's Time is tight! I think great music is when talented people take inspiration from other talented people and create something completely new! Saying that its new doesnt mean it doesnt came from somewhere before. All ideas come from somewhere, but its what you make of it that determines if it holds value or not
Very impressive indeed ! Just bought all their albums.May God bless these guys!
Such a great live band. Saw them last night in Glasgow and they were superb.
they're touring now???(feb 2019)
dtulip1: not sure where you are but I saw them in Glasgow 2 weeks ago. Think UK tour now over and they are heading back to the states. Fabulous live band so catch them when you can
