im pertty sure les made this clip him self. he is a animator, painter, sculptor, glassblower, movie director, actor, drummer and i dont know what else other than being the coolest bass player known to man i think his talent is boundless.
Les gets his appeal not because of how well he can play, but because he plays so well while making his awesome sound. He's not the best out there. By no means is he the best out there. He is the most origional though.

Yes, but Les plays the ol slap and tickle unlike most bass players. His strumming method combined with his slapping is what makes his ish hard to copy. That and he is a freak of nature. :)
You know what would be cool? If Les formed a superband with Metallica lead guitarist Kirk Hammet. Apparently they were good friends in high school. That would kick some ass.
You name all great bassist's, but none of them are as affluent or innovative as Les Claypool. I would listen to him over those guys any day of the week.
there are claypool compilation music books that ive seen in stores that have both the sheet music and tab. being a popular claypool song this is probably in one ofthem. dunno if that helps
