The thing I love most about Les Claypool aside from his talent is how much he's put out. Like Primus, Les Claypool, Colonel Claypool, Bernie Brains, list goes on and on; it is so amazing to discover all his different things. Especially with each project he does he changes his song style up. He ceases to amaze me.
The Claypool Lennon Delirium is also very nice and I though it would be bad idea as Sean Lennon played music for teenagers before the delirium. But I was surprised and I think it deserves to be mentioned. Breath of a salesman is very claypool as Capitan Lariot.
It's about a guy trying to infiltrate the bohemian grove and was going to kill everyone in there, which included federal government officials from around the world, wish he could have succeeded, it might have shed some light on the satanic worship going on there.
@@bookplate The names of the gods change, and likely the rituals. I think it started off as more about love and having time away from the woes of the world, but over time it may have gotten more and more twisted. Nowadays i imagine it's not a good place to be.
I actually knew this guy! Did Les Claypool ever meet him? He wrote a kinda condescending song about him but I knew the fucker! He was just a comic book geek/Alex Jones fan that got a little too enthusiastic. A total sweetheart IMO.
Ok, I'm not a conspiracy believer but, this is strange. Death Edit A report filed by the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department on October 15, 2018, indicates McCaslin attempted suicide. Police found McCaslin suffering from a head injury in his truck, parked in an alley next to the House of the Temple, a Masonic Temple. The Freemasons were a frequent subject of McCaslin's conspiracy theories. He was pronounced dead the following day.[17]
@@pedrot.9569 Ironic part is that from what I understand, the freemasons are mostly clean of all this stuff. They're just easier to blame since you can actually see them. Real freemasons despise the things going on in the world, things like bohemian grove. course idk what goes on in the higher stratum of the order, i just know the people down below in the order are usually very grounded and care about truth seeking above all else.
@ariatari2600 I love that this song exists about him...yeah that guy was living back in my neighborhood in SF for a while, visiting local comic book stores with his self made comic...but haven't seen him in over a 2 months now....
The Phantom Patriot is just....wow....have any of you seen his videos? or read the news stories in him? what he speaks is mostly real but the whole costume thing...just wow
@ariatari2600 ...good to hear he's a nice guy, I always got a sense that he wasn't a d-bag!!I didn't know him personally, he would speak/nod when we crossed paths, and I never wanted to intrude on his personal space, but I am intrested in his story...someone with that much conviction, regardless if I agree with them or not, must have a pretty intersting story. He often implied that he had no family/friends,so It's good to hear he's friends with someone enough to write them from Jail.
@chubbykitten13 He stuck around here for a while, then? I figured he'd go back to Austin or something when he got out. He wrote me from San Quentin, probably still have the letter in a box somewhere. Self made comic... sounds about right.
My personal interpretation is that the initial ball which skips the cannon and jumps ship represents what happened when the Beatles broke free from the seemingly patriotic aspects of being 'British', by indeed taking a whole bunch of acid and so forth. ;)
You can read all about the life of Richard McCaslin aka the Phantom Patriot (and some quotes from Les Claypool) in my book American Madness: teakrulos.com/american-madness/
The original name of this video is "Captain Bligh" , made by a german animator, but yes ,Les Claypool asked him if he could use this as official video for "Phantom Patriot"
Props to Les for turning this into a song. The article was hilarious!!

Jimi x that's the great thing, 3 years ago delirium didn't even exist, he just keeps putting more out.
Les Claypool just makes the best music and he's in so many different things and bands you will always find new music. I love his dark carnival music.

This is about a guy who got caught trying to infiltrate a certain private establishment and a very true story lol, Les is awsome!

i think the theory isn't that it's satanic worship but it's like moloch or minerva or something like that
I mean, it's literally about the Phantom Patriot lol. Dudes kinda crazy, but he was right about the Bohemian Grove

its amazing how the video has nothing to do with Richard McCaslin but fits the music perfectly
Wow, great graphics, and very surreal!
That's good shit! The video AND the song!

Primus=Jim Carey=Aesop Rock=DJ Qbert I love all these guys. Hi son. 2019.

hahaha., there is les claypool for ya! that is bad ass
imba les!!!
haha, here's Claypool's touch, excellent riffs, lyrics, themes, far from the rock business industry, Primus "sucks!"
X YZ primus sucks so good
This isn't Primus.
@@ATthemusician actually Les is Primus 😊
Wow, such underlying tones, how true though!
They all escaped except the one cannon ball that got fired.
Also think he should get a chunk of change for inspiring Les to do this...but thats just my humbe 2 cents.
He's dead.
Les... you're crazy man! XD
just found out whatt this song about absolutely hilarious
THELA HUN GINJEET, THELA HUN GINJEEEET.
Inspired by a real life super hero...The Phantom Patriot was arrested for trespassing in the Bohemian Grove
Waat could possibly go wrong? Oh, okay, that'll do then...
@craigodorius atleast it has no dislikes which shows a good bunch of people have watched it
if monty python had les claypool, this would be it.
It's official?
The original name of this video is "Captain Bligh" , made by a german animator, but yes ,Les Claypool asked him if he could use this as official video for "Phantom Patriot"
wish i could play bass and sing
1:27 yellow submarine
the cannon balls looks like the crappy puppys or gifs web banners, except for that its a cool video
then why do you refute the amount of views, i he is a god among men?
uh... cannon balls lives matter? that's what I got from this music video.
@MrLogicnreason whatever your still trolling
yeah envelope filter
DON'T TELL ME HOW TO LIVE MY LIFE.
I'm beginning to think Les Claypool did massive amounts of LSD back in the day.
NOPE! That's the craziest thing. I have spoken to him on more than one occasion....back in his teaching days....it's just his mind.
Don't be so uptight. LSD isn't that bad.
I feel like he may prefer fungi
nah hes always hated mind expanding drugs
You don't need drugs to be creative. Some people are naturals
SPOIL ALERT
at the end the balls escape on the security boat and the main one sink with the man on it.
Lol, that's an insult to les claypool.
