2:39 the reason its not auto, is because its very old. back in the day, 1 star levels were easy difficulty. until auto difficulty was added, making all the old 1 star levels auto.
I have to point out that the level "1" by - goes all the way back to 1.00, where editing a colour trigger or bg/ground colours alwayd crashed the game, there was only the standard blue background/ground that you can change to white by placing a colour trigger. this was patched in 1.02.
@@KriszGD barely no one did that back in 1.6, and if they did that's a whole lot effort having a risk of corrupting your save files if you didn't know what you were copying and where. I myself almost deleted my gd save when trying to switch nong songs on mobile.

One time I searched The Nightmare and there was a rated 1* version called The nightmare auto. The funny thing is, it's just an old version of The Nightmare, but an auto version of it. IT ACTUALLY GOT RATED
thats a 1.00 specific bug but yea a majority of creators dealt with that bug back in 2013 which is why most old levels only use 2 colors for the bg this bug wasnt fixed until 1.02
about some levels having default colors or white, these are levels from 1.0, which had a bug that crashed the game on most devices when entering the the edit color menu. It was not really fair to hold it against the level.

Even back in the first versions, levels should’ve taken at least an hour to make including gameplay, sync and coloring. I think. Like Stereo Madness is also 1.0 but probably took a lot of time to make from scratch

It's not like every level people make are intended to get featured. Some levels get over hated and it's not the creator's fault. For example, some levels get hated for being harder than its difficulty. For example, weightlessness which was shown earlier in the video was most likely just a level that the creator made not intended to get featured at all. Robtop is the one that picks what difficulty a level gets or if a level gets rated not the creator.
