Someone stuck a piece of paper into the 3.5mm audio jack on an ipod nano 7th Gen. Sold on ebay stating it had audio issues. Easiest fix ever.

I spray contact cleaner into the port then scrape it very lightly with a very thin flat head screwdriver (if it's corroded)

the problem is your cable, not the Ipad
I have experience with this kind of thing happening and it's usually the cable and not the device itself

Thanks for the charging tip! I have a pixel 7 pro and just got mine replaced cause of a charging issue. My port was probably dirty but they did it for free since it was under warranty so win-win 😌

I had a iPhone 6s and it stopped charging so we ordered me a new phone. Then I opened up the phone and saw the exact same thing. The Taptic Engine wasn’t screwed in and was just flopping around and the shield thingy was loose too. There was a ton more stuff that was loose and unscrewed.

One of my customers iphone screen time to time blacked out. Phone was working screen not. Idk how but removing battery conector and plugging in it again made screen work again. I had same thought as you and didnt charge for something so simple

Dropped my iphone once. Took it up to apple to get it fixed. Obviously they told me it was broken and I had to buy a new one. Well I took it back home and decided to see what was wrong. Being a kid with no repair tolls took a drill to the screws. After removing the back case I found that the screen was not connected all the way. As the drop disconnected the screen from the board. Finally I was able to get my phone to work but I destroyed the casing. All apple had to do was remove the back plate and reconnect the screen but no, they might as well have left it in the back seating on a table all day while I thought they were fixing it.
And this phone did show signs of life as it would vibrate as if turning on, but not show anything on the screen.

Speaking of the charging port. My daughter broke the top tip part of her charger plug into her iPad's charger port. Now it's snapped and stuck in the port and really stuffed in there. I tried to find ways to edge and squeeze it out with flat tipped things but that didn't work. Any ideas on how I can fix that?
I had a similar experience where someone had their phone screen really glitchy and I fixed it by unplugging and replugging the screen connector and it fixed it and im just some random person
My iPhone 6s doesn’t last very long at 100-2% battery but when it gets to 1% it lasts like a few hours

I had 2 iPhone 6s pluses, the Taptic Engine came loose on both of them, hell, the last one just stopped working entirely.
Did you actually brake the display glass? It looks good in the beginning but in the last cut it looks broken on the left side.

This literally happened to me when I got a dead phone from a friend. Literally got a free 6s because of that lol
My iPhone 7 has another problem: I plug the charger in, and sometimes it charges, and sometimes not. Mostly when I place it vertical
Most likely it is faulty charging cable or charging port. Try again with other charging cable and if that doesn’t help it’s gonna be likely faulty or dirty charging port.

I went thru 3 iPhone 7s because the Taptic Engine literally just came loose constantly. Luckily AT&Ts warranty just let me continue to get a new one every time it started so I never paid for a repair 🤷🏻♂️
They would of charged like $25 bucks around where I live and said the port was bad. Smh not one shop I trust I watch them fix my phone every time I don’t trust them at all.
That’s how it is with mine and it’s not my phone but it’s a back up. It’s just an old one and whenever I charge it the screen just turns white and has the little apple symbol on it and it won’t stop.

Whatever you use, it needs to be thin, and it needs to be able to fit inside of it without touching the middle. And carefully move around it without touching the middle
