@@viper6022 The dutyer gives you quest to find the An-94 with grenade launcher, but sometimes bandit that holds that gun just walking from Dark Valley to Agroprom and then into Agroprom Underground. I trying to find his gun, and then i was shocked, when i killed one of the bandits in the Basement and picked up this gun.
The environment, the design, the music... that atmosphere took me somewhere entirely different from where I was. This wasn't a simple video game, guys. It was a real memory, like I've been to those places and interacted with all those people in real life, like I lived through those moments for real.
It is hard to disagree. The brutalism has shaped the game so much,reminding you that the exclusion zone has really seen some better days. And the gloomy atmosphere (Most notably in Clear Sky)...it just sort of touched me.
The thing I love in Stalker's music is that they mostly rely on guitars, flutes and other original music tools while usually still having some techno in them. It really shows that while the game definitely has a sci-fi vibe, it still likes to stick to the old ways.

Stalker was the favourit game of my dad. He've came through a couple of wars in post-soviet contries so I guess this game reminded him something. I will always remember how we played this game together for hours, for days, how we discovered every place and every door in the zone and how he taught me his military skills using this game. Such memories make this game and this music so special.

I never really cared for this track until I realized the part of the flute isn't a syth and it's a real flute, now I love it. FYI: You can tell it's a real person playing a flute because when they get ready to play a long unbroken part (or even short ones) you can hear them take a deep breath in.

There were other songs on the game I preferred, but as you said it has a nostalgic feel to it, fits the feel of the zone pretty good and I see that now. Probably stemmed from the fact that I was more into the energetic/suspenseful music of the game version I was playing at the time, like the heavy metal music from Agraroprom(?) Base or The Doors "The End" from the Bandit base in that map to the right of Garbage (forgot the name). I think I'm thinking of Clear Sky.
The thing that bothers me is he keeps saying that despite i already bought all his informations, and become the reason i installed mod who allow me to bring gun inside the bar and shoot him in the face lol..

Stalker was a BIG part of my childhood. I have laid back parents so i was able to get the game at a pretty young age. I would play, and then draw/ write about the game and talk to my friends about it at school, who were absolutely dumbfounded at how cool this game was. Good times.

Was playing Metro 2033. I get out of Hole Station to find myself afoot of Nazi squads. I pull out my rifle and start to slowly advance. Suddenly, I get detected. I hear one shot..and YT started playing this. It knew the best way to give sorrow to my near death, of which became a reality. Thanks, STALKER, for giving me music to die to. Rest in peace Artyom.

Was playing Metro 2033. I get out of Hole Station to find myself afoot of Nazi squads. I pull out my rifle and start to slowly advance. Suddenly, I get detected. I hear one shot..and YT started playing this. It knew the best way to give sorrow to my near death, of which became a reality. Thanks, STALKER, for giving me music to die to. Rest in peace Artyom.

Приехал, значит, новый полкан на часть. То да сё, перекур, он с офицерами в курилку. Ну и там анекдот рассказал.
Все смеются… А один летеха - нет. Он ему и говорит:
- Слышь, лейтенант. Всем смешно, а тебе - нет?
- Так я не из вашей части, товарищ полковник.
Говорит как-то генерал рядовому:
- Я как вижу, рядовой, ты что-то охрененно умный?
Он такой:
- Кто? Я?
- Ну так не я же…
Ну, прибывает как-то на Кордон к блокпосту генерал. И спрашивает у одного из срочников:
- Ну, сынок. Как служба?
- Ничего, товарищ генерал… привыкаю.
- Представь, солдат: Ведь ты теперь защищаешь людей от Зоны… Как сюда попал? По собственному желанию?
- Ну, я согласен, что людей надо от зоны беречь.
Генерал улыбается:
- Какой сознательный солдат попался !
А тот и дальше:
- Я и военкому сто раз говорил: Нечего мне в зоне делать! А он, зараза...
Пацаны, я тут в пространственную аномалию попал, как будто в 2007 резко очутился. И НАХЕРА я полез за этим артефактом ?! /

@@alexdelarge1074 Если ваниллу - то только ТЧ. А ЗП можно с модиками пройти, тот же самый ганслингер поставить на оригинал, или просто сюжетную модификацию. Всё таки в тех.плане ЗП намного лучше.
