    Dope the lucky craft coming in clutch once again

      Yeah bro! It’s pretty much all I throw. I like it because there’s always a chance that a bigger predator might go for it other than perch

    What beach are you at? What is the size and count limit on perch? I am in southern Cali. I can go anywhere along Pacific Coast Highway. Where do I find info on the tides and time and best time to fish. Thanks. Love your videos.

    • @Hook2Cook
      @Hook2Cook  5 років тому +1

      280zGaitan oceano, 10 fish limit. No size minimum. Best time is 2 hours before high tide! Thanks for the support! Means a lot!

      Most of the time yes. They’re not super bloody in the meat. They’re kinda like crappie

      Not yet but is seems if the striper are active and the waves aren’t to too crazy, they’d go for it

      Oh didn't hear that because little one was doing what little people do.

    • @Hook2Cook
      @Hook2Cook  5 років тому

      Good question. I tie directly because I don’t want a fg knot banging into the line guides on the rod. I don’t feel like the surf fish are super line shy either. Also, reduces the failure points. Lucky crafts aren’t cheap and tying directly almost eliminates break offs

    Do you bleed the perch?

    • @Hook2Cook
      @Hook2Cook  5 років тому +1

      +Jason Baek good question. I do not. There’s not enough blood in the meat for me to even tell the difference. I guess it’d be good to do to dispatch faster, but again the meat tastes the same either way

  • @jbayjason
    @jbayjason 5 років тому

    how come you never set the hook

    • @Hook2Cook
      @Hook2Cook  5 років тому +1

      jason enevoldson because treble hooks set themselves. Setting can rip the hook out of its mouth
