I listened to alot of dark stuff just prior to my suicide attempt. But of all the songs this is the one that played on a loop in my head for three days on life support. I'm blessed to be alive. I've found some hope and I'm going to be okay.

the video is apparently goofy and the guys are having lotsa fun, but the bridge is the most sublime part of this song. It's when the evil boss (call it your own demon, depressive thoughts, etc) starts to appear and the band members banded together to form a super-hero called 'Hope'.
I think it simply means that when you have a support group at your side, you can conquer any problems you may have

Was listening to the spotify playlist Indie POP while I was walking home from work tonight. This song came on and caught me completely off guard during a moment of vulnerability after a long day and the lyrics moved me to tears. Beautiful song and message.

Wow today is the day when i found this very talented band what the hell! This shows that people are going for crap music and forgetting about good music like this.
That's ok though because I suspect that the act of discovery is an important part of the process. It should give us at least a little hope when we find a hidden gem like this amongst all the rubble. It tells us that there's still hidden gems out there to find. It's because they're rare that makes them valuable, and more talented in my opinion. So let the masses keep their crap music and leave The Strumbella's to us true music lovers. Never cast your pearls before swine. In other words, why would I give pigs my good pearls? Give the pigs the slop and we'll keep the good stuff.

It's weird that my youngest son was a little 10 yr old when this song dropped, and now he's 17 and graduates highschool next month. Time flies so fast that it hurts.

I love this song, but unfortunately the lyrics are very real to many people nowadays. We have everything we need and want, yet something is missing. That something is hope for something greater. We are nothing but lost sheep without a shepherd, lost in the darkness of life. As beautiful as their pain "sounds", I pray that this group can find the peace and hope they are searching for in every song. God bless.

This band is familiar but fantastically fresh.
So loving these guys! Most modern music is crap, but The Strumbellas are a Ray of Sunshine! This video is just pure fun, pure joy that makes me want to hang with this great bunch! :)
