The only reformulated Samsara I love was the one with all red bottle where the shape of the bottle still a bit similar like the original bottel from early 90s. Hppy I still have both edt and edp from the early batches, still smell divine. My favorite Hermes are Ambre Narguile, Sur le Nil, Jour d’Hermes Absolu, Terre d’Hermes edt, Rhubarbe Ecarlate, and recently Un Jardin a Chytere. I agree Bel Ami Vetiver is beautiful, but I had to sell it because not easy to wear it in tropical climate like here in Indonesia.
Thank you for sharing your fragrance journey! It's wonderful that you still have those early Samsara batches-there’s something so special about holding onto those iconic scents from the past. Your Hermes picks are fantastic, too!
Love you!💜🌹where are you from? British?like all your descriptions admire your language, the way you present,by the way Amyris is my signature perfume for almost a decade!the image you created it’s just me!💯😅👏👏👏😍💜💜💜
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm really glad you connect with the way I present things-it means a lot. And Amyris as your signature perfume? That’s such a beautiful choice! It’s amazing how a scent can become part of someone’s identity over time. Appreciate your support and thoughtful comment!
When it comes to honey, I think George (Zaharoff) and Claude did a pretty good job with Aurum too. It's more gourmand than Bee (which I also love), but it's not straight up honey from the hive. More for the honeyed dessert lovers and a bit darker. 🍯 But a mean of ~2.5 mL per day ain't bad! 😆 I try to do 3 myself but it never seems to work. More like 1.5-2. But that's why we have a travel atomizer for every perfume! 😉 Ensures that every drop is used out and about, leaving behind a paradoxically satisfying, yet depressing dent in the bottle. 😂 The banes of outpacing evaporation. Appreciate you sharing Maria!
Thank you so much for your thoughtful comment! And yes, travel atomizers are lifesavers for extending the life of our precious bottles. I totally get what you mean about that bittersweet feeling of seeing a dent in the bottle-it's like watching time pass with every spray. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Im always scared to use my favorites. I have all the Shalimar millesime editions, and I'm terrified to use any of them, knowing I won't be getting my hands on them again. Or the prices are changed and out of hand, like Daim Blonde by Serge Lutens or Aguilles. Its not enjoyable anymore.Just blind bought Apres londee out of fear it will dissapear.
I completely understand where you're coming from. It can be so hard to strike that balance between cherishing something special and wanting to preserve it for as long as possible. But remember, these fragrances were made to be experienced and enjoyed-every spritz is a moment of beauty! Maybe try savoring them in small, deliberate doses as a way to celebrate their rarity. After all, what good is a treasure if it never sees the light of day?
Hermes recs: cuir d'ange, ambre narguile, rose ikebana, 24 faubourg edt, jardin sur le nil, and of course eau d'hermes, and caleche. What do you think of rouge? Discovered it this summer, really like it. Vintage hyacinth galbanum rose aldehydes
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Fragrance formulas can sometimes change over the years due to ingredient availability or regulations. It’s frustrating when something you loved isn’t quite the same anymore. Have you found any new favorites that come close to the original?

hermessence - ambre narguile ❤ лучшее, для меня от Ermes. И кожа ангела с этой же коллекции ❤ Ещё люблю их Сад от Месье Ли.
thank you for your recommendations, marking my wishlist!
