So cool! This is the first time I have ever found the "week" I was on on youtube! I put week in quotes as we taped all five episodes the same day, with clothing changes.
until 1985, my home (and i think my town) had only the CBC, and then we had cable, and one of the channels was ITV Edmonton, and this was on daily, and i can remember this coming on around suppertime for us (I lived in Labrador on AST and Edmonton was 3 hours behind).
Jackpot! hosted by Mike Darrow ran on Global TV in Canada and USA Network in the United States from 1985 to 1988. Jackpot! is the game show of riddles and rhymes with 15 contestants and a King/Queen of the Hill.
Men are Kings of the Hill and Women are the Queens of the Hill.I'm surprised they accepted "Lived Happily Ever After" when Bob was asked for 3 words"Happily Ever After" .If it was any other show, they probably wouldn't accept it as a correct answer.Wow,$8200,Lucky that it was accepted.

I watch jackpot when I was a kid on the USA network and it's still good and Canada is cool.

I've always liked the music as the players change after a wrong answer
The player changing music cue has a similar motif to the New Chain Reaction theme music.

Mike Darow would ask the players " What's your occupation?" On Dream House and Jackpot.
Wow…this is one of the rare times the super jackpot was hit
Yeah! And with such a win of $8,200!
@4:40, isn't that same prop that Bob used for Winner's Circle on the $25,000 Pyramid?
19:40 Super JACKPOT won $8,200!!
Does anybody have any episodes of "Rodeo Drive" and "Caesars Challenge"?
Easy peazy bring ‘em on
13:49 I thought "aardbark"
Was Mike joking that Yvette should’ve been on another game show, since she was a newlywed?
