i need help deciding between a 7c and an 8c lute for my first one, im getting the Muzikkon travel lute either in 7c or 8c and im torn

I think the 8 course would be better unless you are mostly interested in 7 course music, where the 8th course will just get in the way. That said, I don’t think you can go too wrong. It isn’t like the difference between a 6 course and a 10 course. So I would probably say go with the 8 course. Cheers, Laudon
