Thank you so much for this video. I'm currently working as a data analyst in India and is researching more about career paths. This really helped, especially because of the interview format of the video you have put!
@@619ry7 You don't need a technical background to be a data analyst. I'm a mechanical engineering graduate. If you're trying to break into the field, I'd suggest creating a portfolio of a few dashboards using public datasets, and featuring them on your LinkedIn and resume to attract recruiters.
@unnatichaudhary731 You can do courses on Tableau and SQL. But certifications won't land you a job. It's better to create a portfolio of dashboards to attract recruiters. Freshers can get a salary of around 6lpa. With experience, it can be over 10 - 20 lakh and beyond.
Thanks for this informative interview, Yudi 👍 However, I've heard there are further distinction of Data Analyst roles. Could you please make another vlog on these topics & other skills to become Data analyst, along with SQL
Thank You so much! It was really very helpful video, especially small excerpts from the podcast of 3 Data Analyst professionals, your questions were also carefully picked! Great job, keeping doing this great work! such video means a lot for someone who is about to start his/her career!

Hey Yudi, this was quite new and refreshing format, the questions were apt and the information was on point 😊👍 thank you for bringing this up, very valuable and interesting !!!
Hey Yudi! Thanks for creating this video. Very informative. I also wanted to add that you can also become a data analyst with a business management degree. You don’t necessarily need to have a CS or a engineering background. Just the technical skillset is what matters the most.
After watching this video , I'm like ..yes finally ..i wanna learn data analysis!!!. Thanks for delivering the information in a authentic and with real data analyst.
Thank you Yudi for this informative video :) Request Video - Would love to see more content on Product Management like how to build porfolio for this role, what projects could benefit and similar questions of this video like salary range, day to day skillset, work pressure etc. Also I have a very specific question..some US universities provide MIS courses with Product/Project Management track so is it worth taking up such courses? Thank you.

Good stuff bro, Do you have a video of Data Engineer positions, Hadoop, Spark, AWS? I m bored of Data Analyst, very easy and it's the same SQL stuff. They don't teach AWS, Apache Spark etc in school so want to know where folks learn it.
Great questions. 👍 AND It would've great if you asked about the career transition, like if anyone wants to transition his career from different domain towards data analyst role
I comes from Arts background but I got the basic concepts is that Data are in raw form and we have to make something meaningful to that data for consumers preference or in the form of Busness preference!.

All 3 of them are working in the US & the job of Data Analyst is different there. In India most Data Analyst jobs requires people applying to have knowledge equivalent to a data scientist. Even for Business Analyst job which is more inclined towards business and less on technical side wante people to know heavy statistical knowledge. This is something I realised during my job search & I feel coming from a non quantitative background and an unrelated domain, it's really hard to get a breakthrough here. Thoughts ?
Hi vivek is it good to switch from non technical backround to data science as I am thinking of joining imarticus learning institute .but bit confused as they demanded high fees 2 lakh approx 6 months pg diploma in data analytics.is it really hard for people like me having zero coding knowldege just after completion of diploma .
@@varshadhingra4362 Hi Varsha, I just read your message. Hope I didn't get too late. I am also trying to break into analytics. I would say 2 Lakhs for 6 months is too much for a pg diploma. Also please note that PG Diplomas by accredited institutions are a duration of 1 year. 6 months are only certification programs. If you prefer an institutional or teaching provided by edutech platforms over self teaching, please go for an institute/platform that charges less than 40k INR for their content plus job assistance. The main thing for which all these platforms are charging is network building which can be done using LinkedIn. I would rather go for picking a roadmap & following self taught approach combined with creating a network on LinkedIn and joining a tech community for support and latest updates. I don't suggest anyone to go for these courses as they are just making money by showing you big numbers of their success and taking advantage of innocent peoole. First of all take a few free courses and check if Data Science is really something you want to get into.
