I sure appreciated your review and enjoyed your videos at the end. I'm actually a veteran of the Jack's Fork and Current River and at the moment I'm writing this to you I'm driving down to Two Rivers to spend the weekend with my family for our annual trip. I did appreciate the part about floating on the Missouri river. As a Kansas City resident, i've often wondered about trying that but felt it a little daunting. Thanks to you, not anymore! I also really enjoyed the music.
@@yourguidetooutside3660 It’s South of Rolla, I have family in Licking that’s where I paddle it, my cousin has 40 acres right in the piney. The current isn’t far from it, growing up we would canoe both of those rivers
That’s awesome to have something like that growing up!! I didn’t have a river but I had a creek I spent a lot of time in. We will try to canoe it this summer. Are camping sites easy to find along the river?
@@yourguidetooutside3660 I grew up in Iowa with muddy rivers, was always a treat going down in the summers to visit and float, I still get down there 3-4 times a year to paddle it. There are a lot of good sand bars for camping.
We pitch a tent whether canoeing, backcountry or frontcountry camping and haven’t paid much attention to the camp ground RV amenities. We have stayed at and can recommend Alley Spring State Park on Jacks Fork and Round Springs State Park on the Current River for nice restrooms and showers . Alley Spring has RV pads with electrical and water but no sewer hookup Round Spring has RV pads with electrical but no water or sewer hookups. Both have dump stations. Both are right on the river and could be a day trip to two rivers canoe rental. If you took your own kayak they would take you and your kayak back to the campground for a fee. Thanks for watching!!

Thank you! I hope the rain hold off for you. Do you do multiple days and camp on the river or do day trips?
Thanks for posting.
I float the Current every year; in fact 3 times this year. I drive 350 miles just to get there -- LOL.
Nice!! Do you do multiple days and camp on the river?
Love Two-Rivers Canoe Rental and Current River
Me too. Two-Rivers Canoe Rental is in an awesome location for canoeing the Current or Jacks Fork.
Current is always a fun river but to me nothing beats the Piney
Is that between Springfield and St Louis?

I miss the upper merimak back in the early and late 80 's .
Thanks for joining us! Where did you put in at?
The eleven point and north fork of the white river are really good.
That’s what my buddy Jeff is always telling me. He goes down every year with his boys.
What about good RV campgrounds for a float and fish I have my own Kayak but don't have a problem with renting one

Gasconade River is the best in Missouri
Do you canoe it?
@@yourguidetooutside3660 kayak and canoe
Do you do any multi day trips? If so where do you put in at and where do you camp on the river?
It's deep and slow.
So a lot of paddling?
