Nice video! I'd just like to add that you can create file .conkyrc in your home directory and copy your conky.conf into it. That way you can edit it without root privileges.

Hi and thanks for the comments. The right-click desktop menu can be enabled in settings - see my video here: ua-cam.com/video/hIJnO0aJuio/v-deo.html The application search is build into the KDE Plasma desktop. By default if you start typing on the desktop, Krunner will show matched apps and files.

Does the conky look first for this file from the home folder before trying to load the conky.config from /etc?
