Mine has the common rail Perkins engine but the Sisu/AGCOpower is a better engine with lower fuel consumption. I’m sure you will be very pleased with your new tractor which should give many many years and hours of service. I have a loader boom that can swap between a NH8360 [older TM150] and a MF7490. We have old 9600 ford and Massey 175 but we just need something newer, right now we just bushhog with a 15ft batwing. Local dealer/farmer says a 4710 will pull the Woods 3180 series 3 hog even up some of our super steep hills but idk our 9600 struggles in thick grass steep uphill in L2 full throttle, thinner grass it did L3 fine and in the slight uphill in L3 thick grass it would bog down hard. Hey, i saw some older post about the 4710. Did you keep it? Any issues and how many hours you put on it. Very envious of the 5711. Just cant swing the price…
Nice machine, but curious as to why you seem to limit yourself to either Deere or Massey? Have you considered tractors from other brands like Ford, Allis Chalmers, White, International, Oliver, Long, Minneapolis Moline, David Brown, Case, Massey Harris, etc? Many good options out there.
We have Ford tractors 4600su and a 6640 SL. We also have New Holland tractors but I’ll never buy another one of them. Case is the same as New Holland just different color. Everything else you mentioned is no longer manufactured including Ford.
@@DLHFarms lol. Yeah, I was just joking by naming a bunch brands that are either out of business or are totally changed up. When I was a kid we had mostly Fords, but also Farmall's, Allis Chalmers, JD, MF Massey Harris, Case, Long, and maybe a few others. When I say we I mean my family members who lived around us where I would spend time with them, and had chances to operate their equipment from time to time. My preferred tractors growing up were old Fords though.
Question not related to this video. Just got a NH BC5070. Had a couple friends tell me it is too much for my TL80. I pull a Hoelschur 100 behind it. What do you think?
My bad, I hadn't seen that video. I have now, and I see you are using the same GPS. My GPS works ok, but the display is small and the response time is slow so that you have the tendency to skip or overlay more than you want.

Hey, i saw some older post about the 4710. Did you keep it? Any issues and how many hours you put on it. Very envious of the 5711. Just cant swing the price…
It’s still here has about 1400 hours no problems.
@@DLHFarms good news, the other tractor I’m looking at is a new holland Powerstar 110. Don’t know much about them. Looks good though.
@@mark_Hershey I had one it was junk
Does the visio roof make it hotter in cab?
No not if you cover it up and this new a/c really does good.
Have you tuned your 5711 yet? If you have, I have a few questions for you.
Yes I have
@@DLHFarms do you have a Facebook or Instagram profile I can message you on?
Question not related to this video. Just got a NH BC5070. Had a couple friends tell me it is too much for my TL80. I pull a Hoelschur 100 behind it. What do you think?
I think it will be fine. If not have your fuel pump turned up.
@@DLHFarms thanks. Had a couple of friends said it would push me downhill to much
Is it 4wd?
No
The important question, Does the Boss lady like your Red Wagon tractor?
Yes she baled with it Saturday and loved it.
@@DLHFarms So Happy to hear that you are gonna live.
@@robinlance bahaha
Nice
Thanks!
Dennis, what field GPS do you use? Can you do a video on it? Installation and function.
In that tractor I’m using the new Holland fm-750
ua-cam.com/video/LOPw3jce4Mc/v-deo.html
I made this video about it a long time ago.
@@DLHFarms Yes, I watched that video when you did it, I just thought you might be using a different one in this tractor, and you are. THX
My bad, I hadn't seen that video. I have now, and I see you are using the same GPS. My GPS works ok, but the display is small and the response time is slow so that you have the tendency to skip or overlay more than you want.
What is a tie graver ?
Tie Grabber. It’s an attachment I have that picks up 10 square bales of hay then puts a wrap of twine around them to hold them together when stacked. Search my channel for it.
was the price you quoted in the video (
That was out the door price. Includes everything
@@DLHFarms I have the same tractor coming this week at Boone Bedford, VA. I'm going to do the LED Mod. Also looking for info on tuning if you know where to point me. Did you put fluid in your tires? I not, why? Thx...
@@roberthall3462 yes fluid in tires is always a must on any tractor in my opinion. Go to www.millersfarmservices.com for tuning that’s who I use and I highly recommend them and it works. There is a trick to tuning that tractor though, it can be done but you have to add a couple wires to the diagnostic plug, a hot wire and a ground and they have to be put in the right place. I think the factory left them out to deter people from tuning them.
@@DLHFarms thx Dennis
My tractor is in...did u move ur tire spacing out any since u live in hilly country like we do? I move my NH tractors out but this is my 1st Massie
made a pre-order for the same tractor with a loader 4220 in Ukraine.
but the war began, fucking Russia attacked. now I don’t know what to do, the tractor is ready but I can’t pick it up. the harvest is not sold, there is no price for the harvest. ports blocked
I’m really sorry I hope something changes for the good with that soon. Praying for you and your country.
Owners manual rather have it in the cab, that cover and manual will not last there. Mpo
That’s just the loader manual I’ll pull it out and put something useful in there.
Is L. J. Miller still driving around in circles?
🤷♂️
great video, got a tumbs up, nut.. but.. 89 hundred and so,ething pounds, why why why. just say 4 ton. 14 pounds in a stone, 8 stone in a hundredweight, 20 hundredweight in a Ton. 2240 pounds in a Ton. use LCD lowwst common denomitor. You dont but a small car for 4000000 cents, you buy it for 40 grand.(thousand Dollars, Euro, Pound sterling - depending on location) Otherwose, wery informative, interesting and enlightning, got a thumbs up from me.
In America we don’t use the metric system and a ton is 2000 pounds here.
@@DLHFarms Metric is Kilograms and grams. On the other hand Pounds (lbs) ounces (oz) Stone (st) hundredweight (cwt) and Ton are all Imperial meausermrents not metric. A metric Ton is 2000KG, But Ok every one has their own ways and systems. Keep up the good work. I still enjoy the viseos and subscribed.
I’ve never even heard of Stone or hundredweight. We use tons, pounds, and ounces. (2000 pounds = 1 ton), (16 ounces = one pound)

add-ons almost a scam??? hate when options should be installed at the factory and delivered ready to go...same thing happens in commercial a/c gear....coil guards are an option but if something small damages the coil when a coil guard would have protected it...but the factories will install guards and other needed items at an additional costly fee. nice tractor though lol
Yep Deere is the worst for it every single thing is an option

I'm not trying to be rude I honestly don't understand the manual shift and how come your wife doesn't like to do it it's very easy to just stop the tractor and shift the gear and continue on. I just don't understand could you explain it to me a little better
Nothing wrong with it in my opinion but it's old school in my opinion. Especially when you pay the bug bucks for a John Deere. We have New Holland's say what you want they have had a full electric shift to high and low range since the mids 2000's (high to low is still manual but who needs low). For higher spec New holland machines are generally cheaper then the basic deeres.
i could have got you a better tractor at a better deal with a kubota
They have never made a Kubota I liked
