Question I use the a7siii and all of a sudden a battery warning message appears. Is there anyway I can that message off?

They are very similar (maybe 90%). I used the a7iv as well and there’s a couple of areas where it doesn’t have the same settings (like frame rate). But a lot of the touchscreen, tracking, stabilization, etc is the same.

hi great video! If your A7s3 was on a tripod with a fluid head or slider, what Steady shot mode should you use? For interior videography using VCS4k, 25p, would you know any difference in image quality between 140M 4.2.2 10bit and 100M 4.2.0 8 bit when the final output is 1080p?
I use the Active stabilization, and then you can pair it with the Sony software in post. If you want to see how that’s done, I showed it in my video where I compare the a73, a74, and a7s3 against each other. I stabilize some test footage on it. For image quality, I do notice a difference. Anything shot in higher quality and downgraded (carefully) will always look better than natively shot lower quality. So I always shoot in max 4k settings even if I’m outputting 1080. Do all your color correcting and stabilizing in full 4k 10 bit 422, THEN do a deep render export into 1080. If done right, the compression will look crisp and better than natural 1080. Check for the right export settings. 😎
Thanks for your reply Sidney. I think Active Steady Shot is fine when just hand holding the camera without external stabilisation device. Also maybe "Active/Standard" Steady Shot is fine when camera is on Gimbal for normal forward movements, (not for pan/tilt movements). I looked in Sony's A7S3 manual today and they suggested to turn Steady Shot "OFF" when camera is on tripod, I assume this applies also when using tripod with fluid head and slider.
