Can confirm. Have done these. Especially the crossing of the feet, and lo and behold, they got me with that foot lock and I learned real quick to stop lol 😆
I saw the thumbnail for this video and literally laughed outloud. I'm paired up with a new guy and he keeps trying to cross-collar me inside my guard. I did it too when I first started. It's all good. :)
There's a few people who attack in my guard all the time, but I'm not skilled enough to capitalize on it. I tell them not to attack in the guard, but since I struggle with demonstrating the risks in real time, they usually just go back to doing it because they don't feel threatened. I know what I CAN do from there, but armlocks and sweeps never feel available for some reason. Something about my hip position must be wonky. It feels like they're never off their base, so I can't sweep them. When they try to cross collar me, I usually just stick it out and wait for them to back off......Jiujitsu is hard.
I feel you on this! I think it's more important to develop the good habits though. I ma decent sized guy so I can muscle through and attack other beginners in guard but I try not to as it will just retard my progress in the long term since I would just have bad habits that are hard to break.
Hello, would BBJ be a good introduction to martial arts? I’ve looked into others and honestly BBJ interested me the most. But is it good for a starter?
Just a friendly reminder, it’s BJJ (Brazilian Jiu jitsu) I started as a complete beginner at 24 years old and love it. Give it a try, and dont get discouraged!
I got the chance to be in a class with Prof. Mica Cipili here in Vegas and he was going over some guard passes. I was in his guard and lost my balance and put my hand down, but being a newb white belt, I didn't really think anything of it. WRONG!!!! He said "ooooh, don't do that because I can get a kimura" and like freaking lightning, I was in the kimura. LOL oops.
Video editing mistakes: #1. Making the sound effects disproportionately louder than the content audio. I gotta turn up the volume to hear you speaking and then get the loud annoying dings along with it.
I’m guilty of those first two. Natural instincts mixed with lack of knowledge can have bad results. LOL. I LOVE drilling though. I could do that all day. I’d rather drill than roll, tbh.
this shit looks like a bad joke for sure i promise its this or gun that really protects the sheep like cops in 10 min and confidence the perfect amount that everyone thinks thay have but predetors know that shit helps a little i mean cops help and a gun i dunno are you gonna shoot someone the cops are coming like it aint aim at someone helpful id really being die hard into this unless like your legit ya know like the cops scarrier than all this shit soon as they get this isnt scarry its effective its annoying its the cleanest leverage like even knife play that another thing cuz arterys but i dunno that why i live mixed i def wanna learn this and in knife i pretty wrist control more than ever so it prolly actually the shit for that to

Hi professor. How about a video on the 5 best things to do when starting jiu jitsu.
Listen, be ready to learn, don't be discouraged by "losing," focus on not getting tapped and finally just keep at it :)
Show up minimal once a week every week for the rest of your life. Oss
1 not go to this school its a joke
This is all gold, thank you!

Great video! The loud bell sound for each number is a bit much.

#6. Thinking you are the hulk and just muscle all over the place
I'm guilty of number 5 😬😬.
🆒
Side control, back mount, full mount are the worse positions to put people in!!😆😆

It's definitely a problem from your device
Your daughter has good form.

Isnt drilling tesame as kicking in the air, useless.
I’m not sure what you are referring to.
@@gracieohio isn't drilling on your own, or with partners
The biggest mistake is not having a hot woman like her damn shes fine
